Its too bad these owners dont truly appreciate serving quality food because the place is gorgeous, probably the prettiest restaurant space on the bayou BUT their instant potatoes (really??), frozen veggies (without even any herbs added at least), overboiled shrimp, overcooked tuna and coconut shrimp that tasted nothing at all like coconut, just grease, again with no flavor whatsoever, were intensely disappointing. Also the waitresses all looked completely frazzled except when approaching tables of course with their make believe smiles. I also noticed the owner giving one of the waitresses a talking to for something or another that wasnt being done right. That shouldnt be displayed for the customers. Those poor waitresses. The owner looks like quite the dominant Queen Sheba. Anyway Im sure some of their dishes are better because of the crowd there but then again like I said it is THE ONLY truly pretty and big restaurant on the bayou. Were going to Roses from now on. MUCH better food.

Ordered sweeten tea, the tea was sour, ordered the seafood gumbo, they were out, ordered the boiled shrimp and crab platter, out of the crab, so just got shrimp. Came out cold, corn / potatoe would not melt room temperature butter, the shrimp were cold and small. Very disappointed to say the least, kinda expected more @ 8 on a Saturday night.

Its such a great seafood restaurant, I live out here and this is where we go when we dont want to boil our own seafood! Running an all you can eat crab special right now!

One of the best places to go back to being form the bayou they are great its worth the drive for me 1hr 30min to have good food you will love it
