First, we called 20 minutes ahead to let them know we had 6 adults and 2 children coming. When we arrived we had to wait another 20 minutes for a table. Then we were told to sit at a table set for 4 adults and 2 kids and we told them that we would not fit. So we asked if we could push two different tables together and we were told it was for a party of 8 that was arriving soon. Didnt say it at the time but it was is that was the party of 8. The manager took care of us and we received the table we asked for.Then took another 10 minutes or so to get our drinks. Then our friend ordered a salad with no cucumber or tomatoes. First they brought it to her with no tomatoes but it had cucumbers on it. She told the waitress that she is highly allergic to cucumbers so they "remade" the salad she goes through it and theres still cucumbers on it. Once again the manager was great and took care of us. Then our other friend ordered a steak with fries. He received rice. The main problem is poor communication and the waitress not fully listening. We have never been so disappointed in service at a restaurant. If it wasnt for the manager this review would have 0 stars.

This was a huge disappointment.My sister ,mom and I went there for lunch.I ordered the ribeye steak,it was so tough I sent it back.My sister had ordered her ribeye medium rare,it arrived rare.The chef came out to the table to return with the steak to see if it was to her liking ,it was still under cooked.He took it back to the kitchen and at this point we all knew how it was going to come back,over cooked,of course,no disappointment there.It was overcooked.My mom had order the tenderloin ,Medium ,it was cooked right,very tender and a good steak.So if 1 out of 3 good steaks are what youre looking for then by all means ,Lonehorn is the place to go. All restaurants,or most ,offer steak ,salad and your choice of potato.Lonehorn only offers steak, and your choice of one side.It ends up being pricey and not good steaks. Penny Elkazaz

My GF and I ate dinner here . The waitress was nice but not very attentive. after we placed our order our salads came about 15-20 mins later. I took about 3 bites and took another bite. when I bit down on something hard. I took it out and it was a piece of blue GLASS!! After 10 mins, and i got all the glass out my mouth our waitress walked by us i called for her showed her the glass. she apologized and got the manger. he made all the apologies he could he comped my meal. which i thanked him for. I was told that the desserts ate made by the salad station which uses glass margarita glasses which are blue. my steak was perfect and yummy as always but that eatting Glass really botherd me , thankfully i didnt shallowed it before I bit it. i suggest checking each bite of food before putting on your mouth.

They were out of the appetizer we wanted. Out of the steak I wanted. So I settled on another. First time it came out cooked properly but very COLD. so I asked for a new steak. It came out so undercooked that I couldnt eat it (I ordered med. rare, I like my steak rare, but this was unacceptable.). The server said the manager would be over to talk to me. Manager never came. They did take the charge off, but I felt like the manager could have at least come over to apologize. Service is usually slow. You can tell that the management and staff dont respect each other. Its a shame. Its the only steak place in our town, so its usually busy. But really does not deserve to be. Do yourself a favor and order a steak at Dons or Dukes, even though theyre seafood places, they do steak better.

Wonderful!! Our family members live in various areas of Louisiana. Mom & Dad live near Denham Springs, so when we all get together at their house, our usual choice to dine out is the Longhorn in Denham. Our favorite server is Josh (hes practically become a part of the family!); however, regardless of which staff member is serving us, we always receive EXCELLENT SERVICE... and the food is DELICIOUS!! And, without fail, the Manager on duty always stops by to ensure everything is to our satisfaction (as he/she does with all diners). For Fathers Day (today!) all 12 of us adults (plus the latest addition to the family, my great nephew, but minus Mom (who, sadly, passed away in November)) are heading that way, looking forward to a great meal, excellent service, and time spent with Dad.

I went here for the first time with my daughter. We waited a long time for our food because the flat top was broken. I didnt mind that or waiting . The only problem I had was the people that came after us got their food first and the manager was super attentive to them and their needs and even comped their food for them because it was cold and even gave them a voucher. No attention was paid to us at all. Even though our food was cold as well. I did tip the waitress well but talked to the manager and he kindly gave us a voucher for next time. I was pleased with how he handled the situation thats why I gave it a 4 star raiting. Im not one to fuss at a restaurant but I did pay $50 so I did feel some type of way about the situation. But thank you to the manager :-)

Im sitting here right now looking for other restaurants. Ive been sitting at a table in the middle of the bar area for 20 minutes. No waitress despite a bunch of them walking around. This place has terrible service. The manager finally saw us and did a great job. However, the waitress (Beth) that was waiting our area came up with some excuse as to why she didnt come over. I guess our table was the only one in the section that wasnt hers. Hmm Still upset about the terrible service, but I give it another star because the food was fresh and prepared well. At least the chefs are on top of things.

This was the worst food I have ever had to pay money for! The service was horrible, the server was too busy watching the football game to take our order. I had to repeat my order three times! Mind you there was four of us at the table. He got the orders wrong on top of all of that! I ordered a simple grilled chicken dish, the chicken was so over cooked that I needed a saw to cut it let alone the fact that it was dry! I would never recommend this place to anyone not even my enemy!

I came by with my wife for lunch at 2pm. There were about 8 tables occupied in the restaurant. The server seemed very unhappy to have to seat us and told us it would be a 15-20 min wait. An older lady with 4 friends came in behind us and got the same response. There were less than 20 people in the whole restaurant. It was a very disappointing experience!

Food was good, service was not. Never recieved my salad and asked for it to be removed, it was not. We had to stop another waitress to refill our drinks. I would hate to see it when they are really busy. We were really looking forward to the meal and it was such a let down.
