The service was lacking to say the least. We were seated and it was 10 minutes or more before we were acknowledged. Very disappointing as we came up from Springfield to have dinner with family for my husbands 60th birthday. Literally servers just kept walking by us. My brother in law went to the kitchen and ask for someone to come help us. The food was not bad. My husband had the ribs, they were tender and the sauce was good. I had the chicken megoda which was very good. Due to the extremely poor service we received in the beginning I cant say we will be back. But I will give 3 stars since the food was good.

The hostess was very friendly and I got a booth immediately. The waitress was absoulety amazing. Not sure of her name but she was the younger blonde woman. She should get recognition for her service. Very friendly, very accommodating, and I got my food much faster than anticipated. I got the beef tenderloin modega medium rare. It was cooked perfectly. I also ordered a loaded baked potato and a side of mushrooms. 5 star rating. 5 minutes from my house. I will be eating there on a regular basis. Best restaurant and service around!

Took my elderly mom there for lunch. She got roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy with string beans. She said the potatoes seemed like instant and the gravy tasted like it came out of a can. Plus it was cold. She told the waitress who took the plate and I guess microwaved it. Mom didnt finish it. I got pulled pork sliders with home made potato chips. The sliders were just OK and the chips were overcooked, nearly burned. We wont be back - there are many more reliably good restaurants to choose from in Wentzville.

I hate to admit I always get the grilled shrimp and spinach salad, but the spinach is always very fresh and the shrimp is always perfectly cooked! Each time we have been, the wait staff is quick and friendly, the atmosphere is casual and relaxing. The music is classic rock, softly playing for good conversation. The restrooms are spotless, always a good sign. The only change I would recommend would be a silverware upgrade. We have been at least six times and we plan to keep coming back.

A few years ago we went to West Allen because we saw great reviews. The food was wonderful. I had the "chicken neptune" I told my husband it was the best I have ever had. The sauce was to die for. Tonight we went back, husband ordered a medium burger and I ordered the Neptune again. The burger was well done," chared" and the Neptune was a fork full of salt. It also took us over forty minutes to get our meal. Dean, what happend?

Server was on her phone a LOT. A 3 top came in after us and had their food ordered and tabled before us. They were by no means busy. We came in at 1130A. Not impressed with the work ethic of the staff. Food was great though. My previous visit and the server was very enthusiastic. Its a hit and miss service experience. Based on food quality. I would still recommend this place. Just avoid the young servers.

My wife and I had not been to West Allen Grill for many years primarily because a bad experience that we had a long time ago. Our friends convinced us to give it another chance. We are VERY glad we did. Our server was fantastic and the food was equally great. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and we had a great time.

Very popular local place. Regulars get great attention! Not being regulars (our first time) we were left alone for long periods. The food was passable but not outstanding. The chicken strips were from prepackaged frozen and the soups seemed to be from a can. The french fries were very good, though.

I no longer live in the area. However, anytime I am in town I have to come in for the Sunday buffet. Its great send off before the trip back home. It can be a little crowed, but who can blame them. Drinks are always full and theyve been excellent at taking our dirty dishes in a timely manner!

West Allen Grill is the best restaurant in Wentzville. Try their breakfast buffet on Sundays after shopping the Wentzville flea market, only a block away. Lunch and dinner also superb! Quality food at reasonable prices. The staff is always friendly and attentive to your requests.

This place is awesome. They have Prime Rib on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, its probably one of the best I have ever had. Havent ever really had anything else except the Stuffed Mushroom appetizer which was great as well. We go here every couple months and love it.

Food is good but the slowest service I have ever had at a restaurant. I have been here 5 times and only once was our food served in a timely manner. If you have time to sit and wait an hour for your food and 30 more minutes for your ticket then I would recommend it.

Went to West Allen Grill on a Thursday night in June for their prime rib special. There were 4 of us and we all got prime rib. To use a Seinfeld expression, they were spectacular. It was my first visit and probably will not be my last.

First eating here was on a Saturday night and the prime rib was the special and everyone that had the prime rib said it was the best they every had 8 oz steak was excellent very great service we will put this on our place to eat

There are 2 places you can get a great burger in Missouri and this is 1 of the 2. Their west allen burger is, well, great. The other food is as well and the Sunday brunch is just good food. Brunch is always crowded so go early.

Food is always good and I like supporting local establishments. There is a lot of choices on the menu and the restaurant is filled with historical info for Wentzville. The building itself was actually first a post office.

I dont know what took us so long to come here! Finally went a few weeks ago for dinner and it was amazing. Then we went for breakfast last Sunday. Great price and everything was hot and fresh. We definitely will be back!

Best hamburgers in town. The service was great Julie was our waitress like many times before. She does an awesome job. I took a friend who is mentally disabled and the staff is always so kind. Love this place !!!!

Sunday morning breakfast buffet is excellent. Great staff. Omelet cook is outstanding. Because everyone does the buffet (no ordering off the menu on Sundays until 11) they get you in and out quickly.

Drove 30 minutes to try this place and they were closed for a private party. Like the entire place was closed. Traffic here was terrible, parking was non-existent. Never coming back again.
