We refuse to eat here again!! We went there on a Friday night 3 weeks ago our bill was $58. They kept telling us our card kept declining which we knew was a lie. We looked into our account & the credit card had been charged 5 times!!!! So they declined each one. They called the computer system company to explain the situation because it wouldnt stop taking money out of our account. The next day they called us stating that we didnt pay for our meal. We told them they have taken enough money out of our account that they needed to get that fixed first! Well that following Tuesday we get a call from chase stating that there was so much money taken from our account again, so we explained the situation & didnt charge us the over charge fee! Thank God! My husband drove to the restaurant right away & told them what was going on. They denied it stating that proof of our bank account on our cell phone wasnt good enough that they wanted bank statements...went to the bank gave them the statements & never heard anything back!!! We receive a call today from the police department stating that they have filed a report because have failed to pay for our meal! Little did the police know is that they have been taking money out of our account!!!! Be careful with these people. They are out for your money!

When we were to be sat down, we were warned that the service would take a while because most of the kitchen staff apparently didnt show up. That wasnt the issue. The two small children with us werent given kid menus and were originally given adult drinks. We had to ask our waiter to give us cups with lids. We ordered the grilled cheese and it was just a slice of craft cheese on a hamburger bun. Also, the kids food was brought out last. I had sent back my food because the steak I ordered was over cooked and the shrimp was over seasoned. The waitress asked me "What do you want me to do about it?" and I found that rude. She didnt take the food off of the ticket because we didnt straight up ask for the manager, but I think thats something that should be done when food is sent back. Ive ate at another one of these restaurants in a different location and I remember not finishing my food because of how dry it was. I was not impressed at all by the quality of Lagniappe at all

All you individuals leaving bad reviews, why not attach your name to it instead of running someones business in the ground? I have been eating at this restaurant for over 5 years. The staff are friendly and courteous. I have never once heard anyone use profanity towards a customer. The steaks are 2nd to none. Id rather eat a steak at Lagniappe than at any other steak house in the area. For the money, there arent many better. Every place has the potential to have a bad night now and then, but I can tell you from experience that rarely happens here. For anyone who thinks I may have something to gain by posting a positive review, I can assure I dont. Even after all the years Ive been eating here, I still pay full price for every meal. And its worth it.

WEIRD IS THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE OUR VISIT Waitress is nice BUT refused to use pen and paper to write anything down and she is all alone waiting on 7 tables WTH?!?! Can u say chicken without a head! The owner /hostess ????? Really have no idea who she is, was loud bouncing off the walls and sitting at customers tables showing pictures on her phone while they politely tried to eat , taking one guys phone while he was leaving and started talking to whoever was on the other end WTH?!?!?!? VERY WEIRD! This is all in the first 20min . And we still only have our drinks. Ok so food has come appetizers-GROSS dinner - ok

We went here as a large family of 15 for Mothers Day. We went there at 3pm and there were just a few diners already there, so seating us was not a problem. We only had one waitress waiting on all of us, but she did a good job. Drinks orders were filled promptly and then the food orders were taken. There was between a 20 to 30 minute wait before the food started coming out. The food was good, but you could tell which food had been plated for a while and which ones were just off the grill. Im not a fan of going out as a large group for that very reason. Id return here, but only as a much smaller group.

I really enjoyed it. I got the steak and shrimp, it was well seasoned and tender, the my server was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and quiet, well laid out, and had a classy atmosphere. As it sat at my dinner reading the reviews I was completely baffled by some of the reviewers comments. The steak was tender and juicy, there were no rodents or bugs, none of that... The price was the same as Id pay at just about any chain restaurant, and with all the eating I do, Ive been in quite a few. The internet is a huge bridge, and it seems to have more than its fair share of trolls

Took kids to eat on a friday. Food took looonng time. Order was screwed up. Smothered potatoes were brown and disgusting. Fried oysters contained large pieces of shell. Went couple days later to let manager know.....could never catch one four visits later. They gave me $10 gift card after I had spent $66. I spent that in gas going back and forth. Then they conveniently lost my receipts. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere. Its not worth it, nor will they fix it should you have bad experience. I will never eat there again.

Fantastic food and enjoyable atmosphere!! My wife and I order the Texas ribeye and substitute the potato balls instead of traditional baked potato. It came out cooked perfect. sizzling on the plate. We always split the meal between us as it is great but a bit much for us to eat individually. The owners and staff at this restaurant were a delight and we will enjoy it again soon now that the flooding has been cleared. The food is fantastic and the quality of service is beyond expectations!!!

i have no clue how this place remains so popular. The few times i have been, ive had bad service. The incompetence of the staff pales in comparison, however, to the food itself. You would have a better dinning experience and pay a fairer price, by going down the road to the McDonalds. All the dishes Ive ever tasted here were sub par below frozen food, and maybe even dog food.

We took a chance thinking the previous reviews about service were people being a little over dramatic. Well they were right on point. Theyre were just a few other small tables in the restaurant but it still took an hour to get our food. 30 minutes after we ordered our appetizer they told us they were out of what we ordered. The food was pretty good though.

The worst restaurant experience I have ever encountered. The manager wanted my elderly Aunt to pay for cold food that she sent back to the kitchen without touching. I sat for an hour and did not get my food after ordering it 3 times. The only positive is my kids enjoyed their spaghetti but hearing the manager use profanity was not worth it.
