Excellent sushi and sashimi at this trendyish restaurant. The staff was very polite and attentive offering great recommendations. I had the seaweed salad which was crunchy and good without being overly saturated in dressing. Then I had the sashimi appetizer which consisted of 2 pieces of crab, 3 of salmon, 4 of red snapper, and 3 of blue-fin tuna. All fresh and delicious. I also had the California roll which was very good and the Pacific roll which was excellent. Bill came to $35. Not steep for good sushi in general but a little more than Im used to paying for the same thing. Worth it though.

The ambience of the place is great, and our waitress, Noelie, was one of the most outstanding servers Ive had in recent memory (seriously, ask for her by name). The food, though, had several opportunities for improvement. My date enjoyed her meal, and my snow crab salad with avocado was OK, but I was very disappointed with the teriyaki steak. The cut of meat they used for the steak was more fat than meat. Very surprising for the price. Surely wont order that meal again, and if I ever return, it will be for the quality of the service and not the quality of the food.

I dont write many food reviews, but after my experience last night, I felt compelled to do so. The food last night was amazing. We usually sit in the bar and request that the bartender order for us with basic guidelines. No fake crab, no cream cheese and no mayo garnish. He did an excellent job and the quality of the food was outstanding. Presented well and very fresh. I still cant figure out how they pull this off in Denham Springs, Louisiana, but they do! Ive eaten sushi all over the world and this little place is in the top 3. No kidding!

Was served a salad that was not what I expected; sent it back and ordered something else. When the bill arrived it included a 1/2 price charge for the salad I didnt eat! When I questioned the manager I was told too bad for me, thats their policy. That is just flat our dishonest and I will not be going back! They lied to me once and got away with it...wont happen again...be aware!

Had a tough long day, so I was really looking forward to that late sashimi lunch at Geisha. But, instead I was told that because it was already 10 minutes past 2 oclock, I could no longer get lunch. No big deal, just took my money around the corner to the new sushi place. Thats where I will continue to go moving forward. Bye bye Geisha.

This is one of my go to places for sushi; not only because of the location,but because of the quality of sushi and the friendly staff. I always end up getting the Philly roll, but it is exactly the same every time. The staff always have a smile on their face and check on you numerous times throughout the meal. A+!

Best place to eat Sushi in Denham Springs with delicious food, friendly staff and awesome drinks. Try beef tataki, duck conflict if you are not in to seafood or sushi. One of the best thing that is they served fresh wasabi, which makes everything taste better. (ask for them next time, would you?).

Noelie was wonderful from the start! We ordered two chirasi bowls. There was a good portion of food. They didnt skimp on the masago. The sushi chefs took their time to make it beautiful. Fresh wasabi is available, we ordered it, and it was great! I was seriously surprised. This place is great!

This is not traditional Japanese style restaurant. The Tempura sample without art decoration. The tempura sauce hasnt mix with white carrot. Seaweed skin taste hard which mean is not really fresh. Sushi rice wasnt taste right. Service is acceptable under the 2 stars grading restaurant.

Not a sushi eater but I was convinced to come wat as they would have other typical food. The fried rice is the best Ive had. The teriyaki chicken was good too, but could be better I think its a bit undercooked.
