Well first of all I want to say...I cancelled our reservations at 2 Johns Steakhouse two days before Valentines Day and made reservations to bring my whole family a party of five there..Reservations were for 6:30..we arrived at 5:20..We were seated in a timely manner,but from the time we sat at that table my night went to hell.The lil server was unprofessional and clearly have no experience serving table in a suppose to be upscale restaurant.She kept forgetting our drinks.When someone in our group would order she would just run off with out asking everyone else in the party if they needed something.We had to Hollar to get her to come back and she still didnt turn around.Also she carried the drinks to the table in her hand.That most of all disgusted me.Not sanitary and definitely not professional.The cook is what really had my blood boiling.When he claims he is a friend of the manager and comes all the way from Houston to come there and work.I was at the restroom when he made his entrance and when I sat down I guess he had already asked how everyone wanted there chicken cause when I told him I wanted my chicken cooked well well done.He got all upset telling me I should have told him earlier.And I told him I was at restroom but I was really outdone they way he got mad talking to me like I was a child.I asked him did he habe a problem leaving my chicken on the grill longer and he said no Its just when he puts the sauce on there its gets all thicker or something to the sort.And went on to tell him for the record I want my steak and shrimp cooked the sane way.But I really wanted to get up and leave a that point because we have never experienced a cook like this at shogun and we pay for good food and good service and we did not get any of it.I did not finish my food I was too upset.I threw it right in the trash.That will be my last ti showing up there.Very unprofessional rude people!!

Went there for my wifes birthday. I told them when I made the reservations. I told the waitress. I also told the chef, but we never got an acknowledgement or even happy birthday sang to her. Later that evening the table next to us a lady had happy birthday sang the her by the staff and had the traditional birthday dessert brought out to her. When I asked about why my wife did not get her happy birthday, I was told they forgot. I said how, I told you when I made the reservation just a few hours ago, then to the wairless and a 3rd time to the chef. Then lastly they had the gall to charge us an automatic 18% gratuity on top of their forgetfulness and incompetence. Bad Customer Service.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We had a reservation at 7:30pm and didnt get seated until 8 pm. Then, it took almost 15 minutes to get a waitress to our table to get our drink orders placed. Finally, after an entire HOUR still with no drinks brought to the table and no order taken, we left. And keep in mind this was for a birthday party, and we were sat by the manager herself. Insanely crappy service and total lack of customer service. We will never go back.

Ordered salmon sashimi, and two rolls one with salmon and one without. When the sashimi came out I should of known better than to eat a piece after what smelled like bad fish. Sure enough the salmon was bad. Didnt eat anymore of the sashimi and salmon roll. Told the sushi guy behind the bar and simply told me "sorry" they didnt comp anything and now Im home in the bathroom with food poisoning.

NOT the same experience any longer. Service is poor and lacking. Not attentive to customers. Waiting on refills... never given ramekins for sauces, never offered sauces, having to ask for sushi menus, not getting sushi until hibachi food is ready...etc... then waiting 40 minutes for "happy birthday" after wed finished our meal... just sitting & waiting, and waiting...

The place was horrible. The hostess was rude and the waiter was even ruder! We were told by the waitor to "hurry up" and order because he had another groups order to put in! We walked out. It was 4pm on a Sunday and there was 3 cars, including ours, in the parking lot. If I could score them lower than 0 I would. Terrible!!!!!

Friendly service, good food, good variety, and over if the few places in Bossier City that serve mackerel. However the waitress seemed a bit new and kept asking if I was allergic to something that I didnt even order. And this place is VERY overpriced, even among other sushi places.

The chef, was amazing! Extremely entertaining show,he was spectacular. Taking special care to be mindful of a child with sensory issues...leaving all smiles around the table. Food was delicious. We will return.
