I first ordered online for pick up. So like anyone else I clicked "order online", which took me to Beyond Menu. After not receiving an estimation time for the order to be ready, I took off to pick up the food a half hour/45 minutes after the order was placed. As I arrived, I found out the order was never received and supposedly Dong Hae does not "go through Beyond Menu". I told them my experience, and suggested they get that portion of their website changed accordingly. The woman at the front acted like it was my problem, not the restaurants, and wasnt very helpful in the situation. So I said Ill order at the restaurant instead. And right after I said that she ran off and disappeared for 10 minutes or so. Another waitress came by and I asked if I could place my order, and she mumbled something and walked off also....By now usually I would give up but I was hungry. The first woman approached me again and I repeated that Id like to place an order, she put the order in the computer, and as I was grabbing my card (from my purse on a chair) she started taking SOMEONE ELSES ORDER?!! So Ive been at this restaurant 20+ minutes and havent even ordered by now...nor have I been helped. After finally placing my order and paying, the food came pretty quickly which was nice. I thought it was all done and Id finally get to take my meal. BUT I ordered this (copied and pasted from website) Bulgogi Kitchen Bento Lunch Served with California roll (4 pieces), mandu (3 pieces), steamed rice, and miso soup. My meal just came with rice and meat and 2 mandu. They missed the 3rd mandu, the california rolls and the miso soup... I usually try stick with positive reviews but OMG this experience was so bad!!!!! Im sorry but with this bad of service I will not be returning.

I lived in Korea for 6 continuous years so I know what korean food tastes like. Ive only been here once and had the jeyook dup bap. THIS PLACE IS LEGIT! Out of the dozen other Korean restaurants Ive been to this one did not disappoint. The kimchi was spot on, and the jeyookdupbap I ordered was better than the average korean dish. The sauce was thick and creamy if not ever so slighly pushing the limits of my spicy tolerance. The price was right at $10 a plate vs more at other, lesser legit places. Admittedly I was there 4 months ago and the selection seemed to lean on fusion and was fairly narrow as all korean places disappointingly are, but like I said: What I ate was so damn delicious compared to what Im used to in America that... I recommend you go here ONCE to try it out. Go here TWICE to try something different. Go here THREE times to be sure. Go here a FOURTH and final time to compare to other places and appreciate, and if you still dont like it then so what? You dont like it. Btw, the waiter was american and he said they import Korean cooks and these cooks can be assholes to other koreans under them in the typical "senior-junior" culture they have there that make you, a westerner, make you want to murder your superior/boss/supervisor in violent ways... but I think it makes the food taste better. Cant wait to go here again.

ou but its fully cooked.. I like the option where you put it in, allowing you to control how well you want the yolk. In addition, they also give some side dishes ranging from kimchi, daikon, bean sprouts, fish cake, and more. They tasted ok, Ive had worse, but nothing special. It was nice they allowed refills and were pretty generous. Lastly..onto the service. It was forgettable to say the least. They only had 1 waitress that served everyone during lunch. Granted, it wasnt super busy..only maybe 8 tables seated.. but service was slow. We were given menu by the owner and grabbed our own seats. We sat there looking through the menu but no waiters/waitresses came to attend us. 10 minutes later, we were just sitting there with no water or utensils. We had to call the waitress over and only then did she realize she was suppose to wait us. Theres some miscommunication there that needs to be fixed. Lastly, the owners gave us our bills. We wanted to split the check, so one of us went up to tell her which ones to charge which card, but the Korean lady still had trouble and ended up charging the wrong stuff to the wrong card. She was quite rude and not helpful. Overall this place was terrible. Dont come here for korean or sushi.

Wanted to try different Korean restaurant and I came upon this restaurant on google decide to go here for dinner with my husband. Got there, order food from there all you can eat menu and as we got half way with our food the owner was telling the server to tell us that if there is any excess food it will be 15 dollar extra each, and told the sushi chef to stop making any more rolls until we were done. The server didnt tell us, we heard the owner just yelling at her to tell us. Then few mins later the owner come by to check (acting like he just walking by) and continually checking up on us making sure we finish the food. As we were almost done he came by again to "check" on other customer that was sitting next to us but looked straight at our plate and walked away. Like I get it you dont want to waste food so why would we was food made my husband and I lost our appetite and uncomfortable will not go there again. As a first time customer this was by far the worst experience. The owner was just so rude!

CAUTION TO THE WISE: This place is totally dead—as in there are hardly any people at the restaurant! That is certainly saying something here. Also, they have mandatory tipping already included and charge you extra if the food isnt finished, which is terrible! They included a $16 tip which I found very weird as tipping isnt mandatory! Also, our waiter wasnt very pleasant either. She was a bit rude as well. I asked for a fork and wasnt given one until I asked again Also, the foods were very expensive and the pork belly we ate was a bit on the dry side. Aside from that, the beef was chewy and not tender at all. It was my first time there and also my first time eating Korean food. Some of their foods were good but their beef especially was on the salty side. I will probably never go back there again as the atmosphere isnt very welcoming either.

0 if possible. Bad service kept getting told if we waste food we would get charged... We were still eating.. Didnt give us water refills no extra napkins... Until we basically demanded.. Pricing were told by 3 different people... Not even consistent.. No set prices... More over this is not a family oriented place and we and family will NEVER return.. 0-3 was free then 5 dollars then back to 15 for 3 and under... This was a buffet that we thought was ok... Till now.. Dont bring kids here.. Fried rice is just a plate of microwaved frozen vegetable.. Did i forget.. Dont bring kids here.. Moreover dont come here.. Go to Japanese sushi buffet elsewhere... Way worth your money... Overall sum.. Food under par.. Service needs plenty of work or new people.. Price... not worth it had different cocktails but couldnt make 3 out of 5... Wont be back at all
