The food was good, service not so. My wifes meal came along with her appetiser at the same time, while I had not received either my meal or appetiser. When I finally asked, I got my meal, and finally had to ask again, to receive my appetiser after my meal. I did not receive my soup and when I asked about it, I got my soup after I finished both my appetiser and meal. I had to flag down the waitress every time, was never asked if everything was ok, my drink was empty and never did get asked if I wanted another. They then charged my credit card full amount, even after mentioning the problems to my waitress. I then asked to speak to a manager, and the manager stated they would give us a 20 % discount but since they had already charged my credit card said they would give us a gift card. They brought back a discount card for 15% off out next visit with small print that said they would add a 18% gratuity, no thanks! Horrible service ruined what could have been a great meal...

I bet the food WOULD have been great, EXCEPT our reservation was given away to another couple who didnt make any yet said they did. We were 15 minutes early, and didnt get a hostess until after 15 minutes. I recommend not going there on a busy night. Waitresses were running around like chickens without their heads. I am extremely disappointed in the service of this buisness and fortunately we were able to enjoy a dinner elsewhere.

They advertise they are open until 10 and when we arrived at 9:30 they locked door in our FACE telling us that they serve until 10 as advertised they locked the door I guess when they are slow !! They are unfathomably RUDE!!!! We could see that there were people in there . Ah I suppose you do not feel like working huh?????advertise you close at 9:30 you LIARS!!

Its one of the best Japanese restaurants in Lexington. They have a Japanese menu if you can read Japanese. The sushi is pretty good but I dont think its up to quality of actual Japanese sushi. Karaoke is expensive and I wouldnt recommend it. The lunch special is your best value here. It changes by the day of the week and is usually pretty good.

Wonderful! Great service and great food. I was so excited to get some dishes I hadnt been able to find in Kentucky. Its not cheap, but very much worth the quality and experience. The barbequed eel and black sesame ice cream were phenomenal. A Japanese colleague recommended it and now I cant wait to go back.

Horrible food, tasted like it came out of the microwave, they forgot half my order. Also discriminate against white people, if you have a Asian look they help you quick and you get a special menu, if youre white you get plain microwaved food. I can keep going about how horrible it was. Never again

Great food. Service is typically good. My most recent visit I never saw the waitress again after my food was brought out. Had to wait for another waitress to wander by and offer to assist us. Outside of that the food was delicious. BBQ eel was amazing. The grilled octopus was also quite good.

Get the special. Get it. You wont regret it. If you come during lunch, be prepared to wait even if you get a table right away. This place is constantly packed, but for good reason: Its one of the most authentic places for Japanese cuisine in Lexington outside of Suiganos

Great authentic Japanese food at a reasonable price. A warm environment and kind waiters made for an enjoyable experience. The only complaint we had was that they were out of stock for three of the items we intended to order, but what we got instead was still amazing!

Excellent date night with my wife. She loves sushi, I do not. She had it. I did not. But I did have two salads with ginger dressing (my favorite) as well as a pork dish. We are from out of town, but will go back again, especially on the way to/from the airport.

I used to regularly eat Japanese Curry as a student in Japan and I find myself continually coming back for their delicious and authentic Katsu Curry on Fridays. The service are all very nice, though the restaurant is so popular it can sometimes be crowded!

Worst Hibachi Grill Ive ever been to. No personality in chef. Sams club mini cheesecake for dessert. Lobster was bad. No Shrimp sauce. Very disappointed!
