Pros: - Great location - Plenty of parking Cons: - Slow service - Food arrived cold - All food did not arrive at the same time - Clearly issues between wait staff and one bar tender Very disappointed... We arrived at around 5:30 on February 4th hoping to sit at a Hibachi Table but we were told they were all full but that didnt seem to be the case looking in the restaurant. Either way we sat at the bar and ordered habachi from the menu. We ordered 3 meals, for three people. After quite sometime the first two came out cold and third did not show at that time. After mentioning it to the bartender she took our cold dishes back and had them reheated. Another employee behind us overheard us mentioning the food was cold and under her breath said something about the food sitting in the back for a period of time. A short time later the two cold dishes came back slightly warmer with the third dish in tow. The bartender asked how our food was the second time, we gave her a short answer eh. The two reheated meals were well done at this point, the steak was tough and the rice was mush and not what I call fried rice, very disappointing for a 18 and 22 dollar meal. While seated at the bar it was easy to notice the wait staff hating on the bartender. The entire staff seemed to have problem after problem with her and the drink orders not being filled. She seemed to have an attitude from the get go. Drinks were slow to be refilled while we sat at the bar, she was rather demanding and rude to the wait staff and other employees. In the end the bartender offer to take 15 dollars off our bill, that was the best she could do without getting in trouble. Not wanting to make a big deal Infront of other paying guest we paid the bill and left very disappointed. The 15 dollar discount was far from fair based on our experience. The owners need to know about this disappointing experience, and lack of professionalism with the staff and poor food preparation.

Last night my husband and I met a large group of friends to celebrate a birthday for a friend. People filtered in the habachi table a couple at a time and its understandable that service would be spotty when we were a little disorganized. But once we were all seated after 8:30 the service went from bad to worse. The man taking our order would literally take one drink order than leave and it was all we could do to flag him down for something else. Half of the table ordered sushi and half the habachi. They didnt even start cooking the habachi until almost 45 mins after food was ordered and those eating sushi were mostly done before the grill food was even started cooking! Quick rundown: our sushi was mostly bland and seemed dry, our vegetarian friend was served chicken soup instead of miso, someone complained that the carrots in the habachi were soggy and seemed like they were going bad, the girl I was sitting next to said her chicken was rubbery, and the list goes on. As far as the bill, we were disappointed that gratuity was included since and 18% tip was definitely not appropriate. Others at our table had what they thought were mistakes on their bill only to find out that if you order the $20 sushi special and give a piece or two to a friend they will charge you full price for each roll, so your $20 meal turns out closer to $60-$70, and he was not the only one who shared, but the only one they tried to make pay extra. I am really sad about the whole experience because I have been to Samurai before both on the $20 special night and not, and have been very satisfied with both service and food, but last night was not the case! I dont think we will be going back. If you a craving good food and attentive service try Taki or Appare.

Came here for my birthday dinner, originally was going to review 2/3 stars but after a day if I could rate less than 1 I would. It was nice inside except for some old peeling chairs and lots of plain wall but other than that was super great! Sadly our night started with our waitress coming over and said (to my fiancee) that she looked tired, she nicely said yes though she was excited to be there. The waitress then went on for a 5 minute rant about how much more tired she was and how she hates working so much, and then proceeds to laugh at me when I ordered a ramune because most people just say Japanese soda, she then hands us our EXTREMELY watery salads, Im talking about half a cup of water in the bottom of this bowl. Shortly after a couple was seated next to us, we were excited to meet them, they were more excited about their cellphones and filming my family and I while laughing and saying all people in the military have PTSD and are crazy (Both my parents are vets and my mother unfortunate was there to hear that comment.) But hey, the restaurant cannot stop them from saying what they thing, so we went on to the night where the incredibly amazing chef preformed for us and the bartender talked with us and played games, and apart from the overcooked and tough chicken everything was so delicious!! Then came the horror. I, as a grown woman never imagined myself having diarrhea in a bag in my car as Magic, from Pilot played in the background in middle of a closed down gas stations parking lot, but last night... it happened. Thankfully my Fiancee could laugh it off as she waited for me to drive by the next available bathroom, but if you value your internal organs not trying to come out of every orifice dont come here. I beg of you.

Worst experience ever. Went in for the all you can eat sushi for $19.99 awhile ago after we saw an ad in the paper. When we got there, they told us the ad was wrong and all you can eat sushi was the night before. After arguing with the hostess, they agreed to honor the ad. We sat down and the waitress said, its all you can eat but a limit of 4 rolls each (so not really all you can eat as advertised). So, there were 3 of us. We each ordered 2 rolls....they came out...we ate them...and ordered 2 more each. The waitress asked if we were sure b/c for every piece you dont eat, they charge $1 per piece to take home. We looked at her with a funny look and said ok. So, what do they do? They take 30 minutes to bring out the next 6 rolls to share and made them double the size of the first ones with extra rice. Then, b/c it was close to closing, we felt like we were being watched by everyone who worked there even though there were several people still in the restaurant. We asked for the bill b/c we were full and b/c we were uncomfortable with being stared at. The waitress counted the pieces left on the plates out loud...yep 18 pieces left and added it to our bill. $18 added to our bill for not eating the extra pieces whether we wanted to take them home or not. Awful awful experience. Needless to say we will NEVER go back. Our bill should have been about $70 for the 3 of us and instead they charged us $100!
