I enjoyed the meals I had there and would definitely say it ranks above the other Filipino restaurant I had been to recently. The Ox Tail soup, priced at $14, was delicious and fresh. I could tell it hadnt sat frozen in the freezer too long, like the other place. The meat was delicious and for an expensive meat I got 3-4 ox tails. The dish did slack on vegetables, like long green bean and egg plant, unfortunately. Im not sure why. It did however make the dish look artistically presented but those seeking more bang for the buck, as Filipinos traditionally do, would be slightly disappointed. Fortunately, to fill me up, I paired my ox tail with an appetizer of fried calamari, which was battered, fried, and seasoned nicely. I just wish there was a delicious aoili sauce or vinegar dip that went with it rather than the sweet concoction that it came with. This sweet dip also came with the lumpia I had ordered the next day. I think it would be good for Chow Sun to get a little more creative with their dipping sauces, to enhance their customers dining experience. I am a big fan of the traditional Filipino noodle dish Palabok and must say that although the taste of the sauce used was perfect at this restaurant, the dish itself fell short of expectations. For one, I would recommend the thinner noodle than the larger noodle, and that they add more ingredients than just the shrimp pieces and boil egg wedges, but for around $9 who can complain? The food for the most part is reasonably priced, especially their beverages. I recommend ChowSun to satisfy your Filipino food craving. They also feature a bevy of Thai dishes, desserts, and beverages as well.

So glad I randomly stumbled upon the place. The space is cozy and cute - reminiscent of a tiny sushi bar restaurant. The staff is super friendly. My waiter walked me through the menu and made sure Id be happy with my order since I didnt know much about Filipino food.I cant remember the names of what I got, but I got the sizzling chicken their most popular and the sweet marinated pork. The ground chicken came out in a sizzling dish and a lemon on top, which I was told to squeeze onto the chicken and mix it all together. Holy food heaven this was SO good. The chicken was juicy, zesty and mouth-watering good. I preferred this way over the pork. I found the pork to be a bit dry and overly sweet. And the garlic rice topped with an egg? YUM.Great experience. Cant wait to try the other dishes.

Wow. That pretty much sums it up...this restaurant adds a new star to Auroras Asian culinary landscape. Eating food from CHowsun is like taking a gastronomic fantasy trip to Indonesia, Phillipines and points beyond...the cooking is just tremendous. The curries are rich and tasty, The BBQ skewers crispy outside, tender inside, and the pork buns are a must-try. If you want something different from the existing offering of Asian restaurants in the Buckley/Mississippi area, you simply must check this out.

Stopped here for work lunch. Ordered lunch special and got dinner instead. They tried to charge dinner and I said no, so they took it back and made the lunch order. Needless to say, we were very late getting back to work. They refuse to do half pork, half chicken adobo. Are they making the food from premade packages or something? Food was not great. Amongst the worst filipino food Ive ever had, but filipino food is good to start with... so all things considered, it was okay.

Visited this place because I saw it in the Asian American Magazine here in Denver. Clean place, fast and friendly service. I had the Lechon Kawali, It was tasty with the sauce, and rice. Nice presentation but lacking in the serving size. A good place to eat if youre on a diet. The place has a wide range of filipino food and four thai entres. I will go back for the adobe or pancit next time.

This place is literally the best Filipino restaurant in Denver. I would say this it also takes the cake for the best one I have ever been to! Try everything from the Spaghetti (better than Jollibee) to the fried fish to the longanisa! The deserts are all spectacular and scrumptious! Dont go anywhere else but to Chow Sun for awesome Filipino cuisine! Im going to miss this place!

I came in a couple days ago and experienced the worst service. Servers were running around and barely paying attention to my family. Water needed refill, check took forever to come out, as well as the food, and the waitress gave me an attitude. They also false advertise that they have Taho. They told me they dont have Taho that day, but every time I go there they dont have it!

I have eaten at this place multiple times and will never stop coming back. They make the food fresh so you know its cooked and the service is so nice and quick. The prices may seem pretty up there but for the amount that you get, its worth it. Thank you guys for having the best food!

Thai and Filipino cuisine! Best of both worlds. This place is better than the other "Filipino Restaurant in Aurora" ( dont want to name names). ChowSun does catering and even takes special orders! Talk to Mrs. Tum for special requests. Really good place to eat!

Ive never had Philipio food and we thought we would try this place. My wife and children are glad we did. Took a bit longer than usual for us to figure out what to eat. Loved the food. Staff stayed late because we arrived late and we very friendly.

Ive had hit and miss experiences here. I like the adobo and the fried pork belly. I do not like the noodle dishes and the fried fish is really not my thing. Get the garlic rice!

The food was incredibly nostalgic for me. I grew up in a Filipino household but havent learned any of the recipes myself. This brought me home!

Very good food and service. The pork, seafood and calamari was excellent. Very bright clean restaurant, as good for 1 person as small parties.

100x better than Sunburst Grill. Ive had Filipino food in both places, multiple times. ChowSun beats Sunburst Grill EVERY time.
