Worst experience Ive ever had. Not only did we wait 20 mins for someone to even come to the table and acknowledge we were there, while we were waiting, my wife went to the bar to get the waitstaffs attention and they stood there an chatted for about 4-5 mins while making eye contact with her and when they stopped, they completely ignored her. She had to literally say to them "are you kidding me" as they were walking past her to get their attention. After we placed our order we waited another 60 mins for our 1 pizza that never came as other people who sat after us were getting their food. So I went to the bar to see what was going on. The guy who took our order finally acknowledged me and said he forgot to put the order in and he was sorry. The entire staff was hanging out, chatting and ignoring the customers the entire time. Now, I imagine that they are busy at night, and the owners and/or managers could care less because they make a bunch of money with drunk College kids after the bars let out but I would NEVER recommend going to this place. I would rather go to the dentist than have to deal with the level of incompetence that the staff has along with the way that the staff seemingly could care less about their customers or the experience they have while there. 1 star is more than they deserve.

The WORST pizza! Im new to Louisiana. Just moved here a week ago from NYC and I was craving pizza. They claimed to have good New York style pizza. They served me a small oily, limp, slice of what they call pizza. And for $3! Never in my entire life have I paid that much for a worse slice prior to this. Ive had $1 slices from dirty, shady, corner pizza shops that were way better than this could ever be. Ive even had amazing pizza from other places like Florida and Ohio that came closer. As soon as she gave me the tiny, soggy, slices and hit me with the price I was genuinely disgusted. I walked out with the pizza hoping that it would at least be a decent bite and of course it wasnt. I know that this isnt New York but please dont pass off your pizza is New York style.

Worst service ever. They are so slow and didnt get the order right (surprised?, no, not really). Once we finally did get our order an hour and a half later, my daughters food was wrong, mine was wrong, but they got my husbands right. I guess for this place 1 out of 3 isnt so bad. We really werent expecting much more than that. If Poboy Lloyds would have been open, we would have went there to begin with because we know the service here is dreadful, but they werent. And the service isnt only like that sometimes, so dont fool yourselves and think youll get better service or faster service, its like that everytime we go there. Its like they purposely find the worst wait staff and hire them. Dont waste your money and definitely dont waste your time going here.

Im not the type to leave reviews but the experience that I had tonight at this restaurant was just horrible.. We ordered our pizza and we were sitting waiting.. After 30 minutes past me and my friend go and check on our order and see a couple that ordered after us with the exact same pizza That we ordered. Not too Many people order a pepperoni with half jalapeños. And then we go and ask our waiter and she tells us that they ordered 20 minutes before us when I absolutely know they didnt bc we bumped into them on accident when walking out with drinks.. After talking to a manager he just goes and throws jalapeños on a pepperoni pizza coming out and brings it to us like was ours.. He made no effort to make the situation better. Will not eat here again!

In the course of a 30min lunch break i wasted all 30 minutes at this hole in the wall pizza place downtown near my job. Even though i was greeted at the door it was not welcoming and it was by a female who looked like she belonged in a horror movie and not behind a bar serving guests. She had fire-red lengthy hair, multiple piercings, and wasnt negligent but wasnt attentive either. Also the food took forever to get and all i had was a wrap! The other servers were not trying to appease the situation , but instead were busy texting and goofing off. As somebody who works in Hospitality Management i was very displeased and hopefully they can get their act together.

A hot mess. No host, no welcoming, no "wait list." While waiting, they had a two-top table ready to seat....then they took the chairs from that table to give to a larger table and they had no extra seats. Therefore, there was still a long line of people and a vacant table with no chairs. Terrible. We waited and eventually left. Came back at night after a concert to get a slice to go--another hot mess; did not get pizza. This place has serious management issues. And then saw the bartender go on a break with a BEER to drink....get some adults (not children) to whip this place into gear, seriously.

Schlittz & Giggles is a awesome pizza joint. It has a very chill atmosphere and the servers are always really nice. The one time the group I was with every had a problem with a server (who was just helping our real server bring out the other pizza) the manager came out and apologized for her being seriously rude to us. The Pizza is really awesome and they have $5 pitchers of the house beer. Dont try to get wine or liquor though because that is where they have the high prices. Other than that its cheap and awesome food.

The first time I went to Schlitz & Giggles, it was awesome--the pizza was fresh and tasty, and while it tasted like beer-flavored water, the "house" beer was only $5 per pitcher. The second time, however, I ordered an individual slice and got cheesy cardboard that had been under the heat lamp all day. When I said something to the waitress she just shrugged it off. Also, some of the food is overpriced, as are a lot of the beers--$10 for a pitcher of Bud Light? Seriously?

The pies are out of this world. Ive never had a bad pizza here. The decor is very cool. Its a very small place with a balcony overlooking the rest of the restaurant. The kitchen is open so youre likely to see a fresh crust getting tossed before it receives its toppings. There are plenty of TVs inside if you want to watch the game and theres sidewalk seating if youd rather be outside. Its a great place to grab a bite and enjoy a hot fresh pizza pie!

my husband and I have been loyal happy customers for years, went to grab a slice and some beer the other day, service was rude yall were out of at least 3 kinds of beer and we were served on paper plates and cups. appalled!! we almost left. we have both worked in the service industry for over 5 years so we know bad management when we see it!! hire somebody who can order beer and serving ware before you run out! and hire nicer waitresses.

Dont listen to the haters. This is a NYC style pizza place, not a three Michelin star fine dining establishment. You will get NYC pizza joint service. Pizza is pretty darn good and according to my NYC friends its about as close as you are going to get to NYC pizza in BR area. Yes, if you get a big pep it will be greasy and floppy, but thats NYC style pepperoni pizza. Waaaay better than the chain or frozen pizza.
