Red Zeppelin is one of my 2 favorite pizza places in Baton Rouge. I often order the Mothership which is a chicken, sundried tomato, spinachy pie from heaven. The crust is firm with a slight crunch and the sauce is more garlic and oil based. No tomato sauce on this one. For a more traditional but well topped pizza, try the Whole Lotta Love! A great pizza for sure! Their salads are fresh and I find the size right for splitting if a pizza is also ordered. Another bright spot here is the Sangria. I enjoy a glass with my pizza and the one here hits the spot. We often eat outside here even through the winter as they have good heaters. It can be a little noisy some evenings from the traffic on Perkins, but it usually isnt bothersome enough to make conversation difficult. We seem to always get pretty good service here. Some of the staff do a better job than others but I guess that is typical. This is a fun place to stop by with a couple of friends and get your evening or the weekend off to a good start. Now, I want a pizza!!

Weve waited over an hour to get a lunch slice of pizza and a large pizza. Three tables beside us came in after and received appetizers and food before our pizza came. Multiple different excuses were given and when I asked to speak with a manager I was told that they didnt have one. Huh? You are serving food and alcohol with no manager? After I complained, our waitress decided to come confront me at the table and say " Do you see how crowded we are?" (There were multiple empty tables..) My 4 year olds pizza came out and it was practically burnt and obviously old. Im beyond irritated. Ive worked food service and rarely get upset in restaurants as Ive been there before. This was ridiculous. Just tell the truth if you messed up the order, etc.. dont lie to me.

Ordered a ceasar salad and a mothership pizza to go. Service was fine but the food was NOT worth $25+ for a salad that filled half of a togo box of wilted lettuce, 3 slices of tomato (who puts tomatoes in a ceasar salad anyway?!), no parmesan and 4 croutons and a pizza that I could have made better myself drunk, blindfolded with one hand tied behind my back. From the looks of it they spent more money of the novelty of a pizza joint instead of developing a menu thats worth the prices they charge. Save your money and go to little ceasars. Obviously the 3 others who wrote reviews are blind and have no taste buds.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Waited 45 minutes to get our drinks! The table behind us got refills before we got ours! When the drinks finally came, the waitress managed to spill one all one all over our table and us. We had to wipe it up and when we went to throw the napkins away behind the bar another guy working behind the bar was like "hello! You cant be back here!!!". We just responded we are throwing away napkins because drinks spilt. We will never be eating there again!! Horrible!!

I love their calzones! The spicy hawaiian is absolutely delicious. Im not sure where they get their jalapenos, but they are some of the hottest Ive ever had. Ive been craving spicy things during my pregnancy and it hits the spot! Just dont eat here if youre in a hurry. Youll get your drink fast, but they make the pizza and calzones fresh, so it takes a little while even when there isnt a crowd.

Ambiente familiar aunque se vende licor es muy agradable sentarse en el patio en compañía de niños pequeños. Son rápidos en el servicio y el precio esta acorde con la comida recibida.

I visited this place the first week it was open and Ive been going ever since. The owner was and still is very involved in operations and it shows. Great lunch specials from 11-2:30 I believe, and different drink specials all week. Any place I can grab a quarter slice of a large specialty pizza and a good beer for less than $10 bucks during lunch is good by me. Friendly staff too.

That was the worst pizza I think Ive ever had. I could tell that the dough had been pre-made. There were minimal toppings on it and it was as hard as a rock. I picked it up within fifteen minutes of ordering it, so it wasnt like it sat there for an hour. I wont be going back.

Solid neighborhood option for when youre tired of chain pizza. The half-mexican half-Bou-ray pizza (it has boudin!) is my personal go-to. Nice outdoor patio area with fans and TVs. Good selection of both rotating and permanent beers. Staff is efficient but not overbearing.

I only give it a 4 because my pizza tasted better the next day. As a lover of thin crust I was expecting an awesome crisp crust and wings that were fried hard for that anticipated crunch but didnt get. Customer service was A1 which is amazing. I would visit again.

Great pizza. Had the bbq, was amazing. Great crust, was crisp yet chewy on the inside, sauce was sweet and thick, the chicken was cooked perfect, all of the toppings went wonderful together. The chewy bacon, the onion. Superb.

The pizza I ordered out was incredibly zesty, tasty, crispy (as I asked for it) and delicious! It reminded me of a pizza place we used to go to when I was much younger with my family and I have not had that good of a pizza in years.

My husband and I love this place. They have a great beer selection, delicious pizza, and a great patio. It actually reminds us of one of our favorite pizza places in New Orleans called New York Pizza on Magazine. :)

The pizza is simply fantastic! Patio seating for a Louisiana autumn is superb. The crust makes the pizza, but Reds toppings are locally-sourced and make this place stand out. A must-visit if youre in town.

It was good . Pizza wasnt to thin to be crunchy but thin. Just enough grease on the pizza . Good cheese. I just had the pepperoni pizza so I cant say beyond that but the specialty pizza seemed good

Fun atmosphere, great cocktails, attentive staff & unique specialty pizza. Where else can you find pizza made with gator meat?!?! If thats not your style, theres awesome traditional pizzas as well.

Great food. Our waitress, however, decided to pass gas while serving us three times and my wife almost got up and left. I convinced her to stay and we had a great meal together. Ill be back.

Unique pizza varieties you wont see elsewhere. They also have a humongous fan "Big A$$ fan" on the patio to ensure that Baton Rouge humidity doesnt make diners uncomfortable.

Really enjoyed this pizza! It was thin crust but still a bit chewy with a great taste. Minimal toppings as a pizza should be... Not so overloaded you cant even taste anything.

Really delicious pizza I get the Mothership which is absolutely fabulous. Crispy crust and fresh vegetables. They also have a drive thru window which is very convenient.
