Three couples ordered three house specials. After four or five beers, and seeing people who came in after us being served, asked waiter about our order. Was told they were busy, basically to wait my turn. Sever more beers, and many more people being served, asked him again. Got brushed off quickly. Then he quit coming by to check on beers, but he did go in kitchen with an order. Fifteen minutes later our pizza was ready. Needless to say, his tip was very low. He started an argument on the low tip with another in our party. I walked outside with a glass of beer. The manage came out and made a big deal om me stealing her glass, and she called the off duty policeman who was on security detail. He explained he could not arrest me, but did have me return glass and told me to leave the premises. A few more words passes with the manager, and we havent been back sense. Its a shame, because we really liked their pizza, but they must have good service and attentive waiters.

I grew up in this town and like most of us here, we love this pizza. Although I must admit, its time for a makeover ! The place is FILTHY!! Thank GOD they keep the lights dim. The waitress needs to retire, shes angry. The kitchen help are crammed in that old out dated kitchen and dont get in any hurry. They need to catch back up with the times and accept credit/debit cards like the rest of the free world. Charge $1.00 more if it hurts to much to pay the credit card fee. They are only able to serve slowly and have this rude attitude and filth because the pizza is really good. Although Schiltz & Giggles is my new fav. I will always love Fleur De Lis but I think the owners need to rethink their attitude toward the future or else be ready to become a thing of the past. Remember Frost Top? They are still open but nobody I know still goes there. They didnt see it necessary to make changes.

The pizza here is amazing! You can order one to bake at home too! The restaurant is very old, but its decent on the inside. I dont recommend using the restroom because its a very tight squeeze! Since the smoking law has come into place, its much more tolerable to eat inside the establishment. Part of the charm is that its so old and PINK! I agree that this pizza isnt Chicago or New York pizza, but just like Chicago is known for deep dish, BR is known for Fleur De Lis, & the best part is that you can eat more than one slice! I always get the pepperoni with black olives, mushrooms and extra mozerella. When I worked near there the waitress new us & knew what my husband and I ordered because we ate there at least once a week. After I changed jobs & my husband went in without me she asked where I was! ...doesnt get much better than that.

This is possibly the best pizza Ive ever had. Its certainly delicious and unique. Make sure you try the sausage which is crumbled very thin and layered in with the sauce rather than cooked on top. Get some of the fresh Romano cheese on the side to top the pizza with. Its an eccentric old place. They only accept cash (there is an ATM) and serve beverages from 8 oz bottles (no free refills). You can remove toppings from the pre-selected pizzas, but if you add any different ones back youll pay for each one. Still, its relatively inexpensive. The atmosphere is not great, but thats not the reason to go. It will be packed on Friday and Saturday nights, so plan accordingly.

We were in Baton Rouge for the marathon (from Pennsylvania) and went here for dinner because of positive reviews. It was very busy, but we were able to find a table, and they had a booster seat available for our little one. We did have to wait a while for our pizza, but we werent disappointed. Their pizza is delish. It was one of the top-5 pizzas weve ever eaten. Just be warned, a Large at Fleur de Lis isnt the same as a Large at your typical pizzeria. But it also costs less. My wife and I were able to polish off the large pizza ourselves, though we certainly didnt leave hungry. If you have three or more grown humans, consider ordering two pizzas.

Waitress was incredibly rude and sarcastic where our party of 7 was very uncomfortable. Repeatedly she had very caustic remarks to our questions and we felt uncomfortable even communicating with her after one point. A couple of our pizzas were undercooked and doughy. We will no longer spend our money at this establishment. Grimaldis will be out new pizzeria. PS. Dont put put your $ in the jukebox, the volume control is faulty and its hit or miss. For us the whole entire experience was a miss. PSS. Exchanged $2.00 at the bar for the pinball machine and received 7 quarters in return. Geez.

The pizza at this place is my favorite. And, one of the best pizza joints in Louisiana. Ive been going here over ten years. But, the waiters & owner are very rude and racist. As, well is a lot of the customers who dine here. But, It doesnt bother me. Because, the pizza is so great. And, plus if you look in the kitchen. The kitchen staff is minority (black). So, I dont let their racist ways ever effect my meal. So, if your a racist and youre reading this.? Yes, black people are preparing the food here.!!! # ENJOY...

best pizza in Baton Rouge HANDS DOWN. Round The World is the one you want to order. real greco pie. call in ahead or sit and wait. bring cash!!! i was chewed out for asking for some extra olive oil to pour over my slice, once long ago. i didnt take it personally, the pizza is worth it. nothing wrong with the old building, either. im from New Orleans and most buildings here are very old. doesnt make the food taste any differently. if anything, i think an old seasoned oven makes a better pie.

Fleur De Lis offers a unique pizza for the Baton Rouge market. Its almost best described as very thin Sicilian style. The pizza for this size runs about $11 (a large) and I found that to be just a bit more than 1 person might consume in a sitting. The pizza itself is crunchy and chewy at the same time. It does not have a traditional crust, but is good nonetheless. Definitely give this place a try. Its easy to see why its been a BR "establishment" for so many years.

Very simple menu with only small or large pizzas and a limited number of toppings. Cash only (ATM in restaurant) thats dimly lit, but always seems to be full. The pizza is consistent every time I visit and always very good. It is my favorite pizza place in Baton Rouge. The only downside is the service can be lacking at times depending on how busy the restaurant is. There are usually only 2 servers, so if you need something, you may need to motion over the server.
