If youve ever frequented other Indian Restaurants in Louisville, this will never be your favorite. With that being said, the availability of Indian food in downtown Louisville is extremely limited, and this place was very welcoming, quick, and cheap. The buffet was small, but had a number of decent items. My favorites were the vegetarian dishes. They were all very flavorful and delicious. The lamb was flavorful so long as you dont mind eating around bones. The chicken curry (not tandoori) was tender, if a little greasy. The bread on the buffet, typically naan, seemed to be just warmed pita bread. The lady in charge of the front end was very sweet though, and gave me saag free of charge from the back because I asked about it. I will frequent again, if perhaps not very often.

Friendliest people of all downtown by far. Go during lunch buffet, dont expect too much variety, and have a taste for spicy food and you will enjoy for sure. Only the best choices which make up for the limited options.

I stopped by today. Maybe just an off day, but it was so terrible I could barely choke it down. The food had a metallic taste for some reason. It was also way too spicy (and I like spice).
