My family and I had an amazing time here. Our server was excellent in accommodating our needs and exceeded our expectations. He was friendly and never rushed us. The food was served in a timely manner, the presentation was beautiful, and the food was full of flavor. It was not overtly oily and you could tell that the kitchen knew what they were doing. We came here to celebrate a family members birthday and the owner got wind and surprised us with a small Indian cake. The service that they provided and the effort they gave is not lost on us. We will definitely be going there again. Hopefully soon, because I loved their chicken biriyani and paneer makhani. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for delicious food, great service, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The prices are great too.

I was headed out to Dakshin (very good!) before I did a quick search to see if there were any new Indian places to try. The reviews led me here, a new place thats only been open since Feb. My wife and I just had the most wonderful dinner. Love indian food... love love love. If the next meal is as good as this one Ive got my new favorite in town. We had cauliflower "Manchurian" for an app... spicy and delicious. And I really dislike cauliflower, so thats saying something. The entrees were their popular goat dish (forgot the name) and chicken tikka for my wife, both were amazingly tender and spiced beautifully. A piece of plain naan and garlic naan to tie it up. Cant wait to try the buffet! (PS. Goat is not for everyone, but if you know it and appreciate it youll love what theyre doing.)

Went there tonight and got carryout . Ordered Chicken tikka masala. Probably the worse that Ive ever eaten in Louisville. My husband had to take it back. It was sweet. Not sure what they put in it. Maybe coconut milk. When he took it in they kept asking about the spice level. They did not understand what was wrong. We also ordered kheer. The description on the menu said rice. It was not made with rice but vermicelli noodles. Also not sure if it was from the buffet but it went bad. So we could not eat this. I hate to say but this was a beyond aweful experience. We were hoping that this restaurant would be great since it is the only Indian restaurant in St Matthews. I wish them all the best but I dont think they will last a long time.

I have never been a fan of Indian food. I thought I just wasnt a fan of the spice palate, but that all changed with a visit to Tikka House. I went for the lunch buffet on a Saturday, and I became a convert. Everything was delicious-freshly prepared, the dishes plentiful and refilled offers, and above all tasty. The server brought fresh naan from the oven to our table, and I found a new favorite restaurant. It tasted like someones grandmas cooking- delicious, and made with care and love. You should visit as often as possible. I know I will be!

My wife, son and I have enjoyed Indian food from New York to Los Angeles and in Canada, England, Scotland, Wales, Paris and Amsterdam. But Tikka House ranks right at the top. The restaurant bills itself as serving "fine Indian cuisine." I would change that to "finest." Our son and his friend had eaten at Tikka House and recommended it to us. The food, service and atmosphere was first-rate. We plan to make Tikka House a must stop for meals on all our trips to Louisville!

Amazing Buffet. The Rare Indian restaurant that offers Fish on the buffet menu. Food is extremely flavorful and has the authentic Indian taste. Also like the cleanliness of the restaurant. Have gotten buffet takeout from there and the food was delicious. The biryani was excellent and is usually my yard stick to measure a good Indian restaurant and this was top notch. Highly encourage anyone looking for good Indian food to try Tikka House...

Hands down this is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to so far. The food is tasty, service is good and the place has an overall nice feel to it. We tried the veg biryani, veg chow mein, egg masala paratha, paneer Tikka and garlic paratha. The garlic paratha was the best I have ever had. This place is definitely checking out. Would recommend this to anyone who is interested in authentic Indian food.

Best Indian Food in Louisville, they have a buffet that beats any other by far. The Curry is amazing, all of the food is flavorful. You can tell everything is fresh, and delicious. The scenery is also very nice. The restaurant is always clean, and has very nice staff!

Started out on a questionable note, but finished strong. Indian spice is the tastiest hot food in the world. Chicken Mo Mo was not what I expected but so delicious. Only reason I didnt give it five stars was because the appetizer was tepid. Definitely worth it.

My wife and I decided to try out Tikka House on Monday night. We had the Chana Masala, Chicken Vindaloo, Garlic and Rosemary Naan and all were excellent. The service was good and I am thrilled to have an Indian Restaurant in St. Matthews!

Bland and tasteless. Not something authentic and I wouldnt advice the buffet. Fish fry was a dud. Chicken in chicken tikka masala was cold and hard. Gulab Jamun was hard.

The food was very good. It took a long time to get attention from the host and then to get a table, but they said two people didnt show up for work that day.

Buffet was satisfying. The spice level for the food is mild yet every dish is savory! The service couldnt be better! The cleanliness is off the chart too!
