Every time my boyfriend and I come here to eat we always leave having had poor service and an awful experience. It seems that every other time we come through the drive thru our order is messed up in some way or another. Not only that but if you call to complain about your messed up food you will speak with a manager named Andrew who has never been anything but rude and unwilling to solve the problem. I have called multiple times in order to have my food remade the way that it was ordered and i always get the same manager who claims to put my name and my order down in what he called a replacement book and that i could come anytime and expect my order to be made correctly without charge due to the mess up the first time. Ive worked in fast food for years so i understand that mistakes happen and am very forgiving when it comes to my order not being correct by the time i get home. When i went to cookout the second time i ordered my food the same way as i did the last time and told the person who was taking my order over the speaker that i had a free meal on Andrew that he had my name written down in a replacement book. The person at the window asked me to pull up to the window and acted like they didnt believe me. Upon pulling to the window i was greeted by none other than Andrew himself who claimed to never have spoken to me before and suggested i was lying. Eventually it came down to me paying for my order even though i was told it would redeemed but promised that he would make my NEXT meal free. I have not been back since.

This place hit the ground running when they first came to town. For the first few weeks, everything was hot, fresh, clean and of excellent value. I would dine in or order take- out from here 3 times a week. As the months passed, this place fell into a rut. Orders went messed up. The deep friers were never cleaned. Table tops sat dirty, and the bathrooms became unattended. Hoards of college students would take over the place during the late night hours and the place became loud and obnoxious. The drive thru speakers became virtually unusable. I actually had an employee ask me to call the 800 number on behalf o the drivethru speakers. The value is still the best in town for a full tray meal at 5-6 bucks, but the magic that used to be Cook-Out was tapped out long ago.

This place is great. Its fast food, sure, but its pretty good, very cheap, and has a great decor. Its seemingly nicer than the average fast food joint in terms of food taste/quality, price, and decor, and I dont know how you can beat that. I always get a shake when I go (40+ flavors) because I just cant say no, and I think thats a positive for recommending it. The only think Im not crazy about for this particular location is physically getting in and out of the facility. The entrance is at a steep angle to a sometimes very busy road and it can add a dollop of stress to your day when maybe you arent expecting it. But the lot isnt the greatest, so Im not sure what the establishment is supposed to do about that one.

Amount and quality of food is good for the price. $6-8 gets you a burger, two sides, a soda, and a milkshake. Service is generally acceptable and staff friendly enough. However, Cook Out has a real problem with pan-handlers loitering on the property. The past 2-3 times Ive been I have been approached by folks asking for money, one was very persistent and decided to hang out next to us for a while and light up. Staff seems unwilling to do anything about it. Overall decent food, but dining experience can be frustrating.

I like Cook Out. You just cant beat the value of their combo meal. You get your main "entree" plus two sides. All for $5. I like the Big Double Burger with fries and a corn dog. Very good corn dogs. The dining area is generally very clean although the mens room could use a little bit more attention usually. The employees are usually pleasant and well mannered. I am not a big fan of the picnic table style seating but there are other tables with chairs with backs.

The price for the amount of food you get is hard to beat. The burgers taste great like they were grilled at home. my only issue with this location is you never know what you will get. Ive ordered fries as a side and received nuggets and vice versa. Also if I order Cajun fries they may just be regular. Id give more stars if my orders were right. Ive been several times and only had one order correct. Luckily the food is all good so I didnt mind a whole lot.

Cookout is very reasonably priced with a good selection, and one of the best char grilled burgers Ive tasted in town. Its fast food but you can get a tray with a burger and two sides and a drink for less than $6. Just dont go late at night as it seems a bit dangerous these days. The restaurant also has good floats and shakes with a huge selection. The inside has a unique atmosphere in the design which I like pretty well.

Food is cheap and you get a good amount for what you pay for. I primarily come here because theyre open really really late, including the lobby (I cant drive). Biggest drawback is that its a really popular spot for various college-student-oriented parties after they let out so it gets incredibly loud and crowded very fast and not everybody is sober. The staff seems to get (understandably) overwhelmed.

Terrible food. The bbq was dry and tough. The coleslaw was like it came out of walmart in a bag. The hush puppies were hard. The fries were basically crusted in salt. They have lots of milkshake flavors but they are so thick it took a half hour to get through one. Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Now I see how people could like the McRib.

I bought a sandwich with two sides of french fries and a shake and not only did they over charge me for the order but they also forgot to give me my second order of fries. When I went inside they gave me the fries because it was on the ticket but told me I didnt overpay because the ticket said I didnt and they wouldnt give me my money back

Food was ok, but not great. First and probably last time I try it. Nothing special. Drive thru speakers very poor. Couldnt understand employee on the other side, and they obviously couldnt understand me as the order was wrong. As the location is hard to get in and out of, I wont be going out of my way to try it again.
