I cant believe this place has been here and I didnt know about it. I have frequented the most popular sushi spots both ITP and OTP, and this place rivals the best. In fact, my wife and I had given up on sushi in Canton/Woodstock as I havent been impressed by ANY of the more popular spots in the area. When you walk in, the ambiance is what you would hope for. The servers are extremely pleasant and eager to help you select from an expansive menu. The table next to us asked "Brad" to make them a custom role based on items they liked and he whipped something up for them in a matter of minutes. He came over to them afterwards and I was impressed by his desire to get feedback. He asked them what they liked or didnt like and what he could do better. You can tell he is seeking to provide an exceptional experience and quality - he takes pride in his work. My sushi was bright, colorful, fresh, artfully displayed, and simply amazing. I had given up on a solid sushi joint north of Marietta, but you have to make this your mainstay in the Canton/Woodstock area.

The food quality here is really good; better than expected for a strip mall joint. Ive been eating here since it opened 4 or 5 years ago because its extremely convenient to my home. That being said, the prices have always been high and, as others have mentioned, keep going up to the point where they now feel almost punitive. The last time I went there (about 6 months ago) the server gave me 2 beers in a row that were about 50% head. After the second time, I mentioned something about it (considering the high price) and she candidly pulled me aside and whispered that the owner makes them do this on purpose in order to serve less beer per glass. It feels like a restaurant thats in financial duress and is hanging on as long as possible by fleecing the customer. I give it 3 stars because the food is quite good but the business model will have this place gone sooner rather than later.

We have been to Yoon numerous times. When the owner is there our food is great. On our recent visit the owner was not in, our food was not the normal, the american making our food was too busy talking to his friend whom was not dining to get our food made in a timely manner. Not to mention we had to listen to their conversation our whole dinner. The last two times our waitress was too busy stepping out to smoke in between orders to fill our glasses, she reeked of smoke which is not a pleasant aroma while eating. We have not had decent service there yet and it is ruining the experience of the tasty food. The service has caused us to not be in a hurry to go back, not even for the good food.

Had an absolutely amazing experience! I basically walked in and told Brad the chef that I wanted him to make me whatever he wanted. He asked how much I wanted to spend, I told him and enjoyed a platter of so many different types of sushi that by the end I didnt want to leave and even though I was full, I asked for another roll. I am in the military and have been to many sushi restaurants, even ones in Japan and Yoon is one of the freshest sushi places I have been to. Brad, Stacy, and their staff are amazing and even though I am not from GA, when I visit family I will be coming back frequently.

The sushi at Yoon Sushi is nothing to write home about. It may seem expensive on first glance, but the portions are bigger than many sushi restaurants. We visited on a Saturday night and it was not very busy. Especially with the low traffic, the service was not very good. We were not hardly ever checked on by the young waitress as we sat at the sushi bar. I had to waive to get her attention when we needed something. All of the wait staff never cracked a smile at anyone. I dont think we will be returning. We will continue to make the drive to our favorite sushi restaurant in Alpharetta.

The food quality has always been good, but the prices are crazy! The Chirashi for one person is $47.99! Most good sushi places offer the same dish for $18-$23. A 16oz draft beer was $8.50! Im surprised that this restaurant is still open with these outrageous prices. I used to enjoy this close to home sushi spot, but not anymore with the price gouging that is going on here. If they ever put their website back up with menu prices that are reasonable then well be back since the food was good.

AWESOME! My favorite sushi spot in North GA. Cant really say anything negative. Great food, the menus are very detailed. Prices are excellent and they ALWAYS have great drink specials. A MUST GO! Thank you Yoon, and thank you for your Spicy Lobster Roll. Correcton, NO more drink specials! WTF? This was a huge selling point, they had the best nightly drink specials, but obviously, NOT ANYMORE (dropped from 5 stars to 3 stars, I would drop it further if I still didnt love their food).

I had checked the menu online beforehand, and everything was in reasonable demand. When I got there it was pricey, and considering the small portion sizes, it should not have been that expensive. I ordered the Volcano Maki. Although, the sushi was good, unexpectedly I came face to face with my sushi that was drenched in spicy mayo, after a few pieces it became overwhelming to eat, and I felt dissatisfied in the end.

The sushi we had was so-so at best. Ive had better at the local Chinese Buffetsin Canton and Woodstock. Overpriced for what we got. Perhaps they were affected by the newest competition practically next door. The fish was a little off as if it wasnt turned over as quickly as usual. Well give them another try, but the quality had better come up to their previous level or we will spend our money elsewhere.

I have had occasion to eat from their menu 8 or nine times. The cucumber salad is an absolute must. Other members comment on price but for decent Sushi its relative to some of the better metro Atlanta restaurants in this category but without the travel. I give it five stars because Im always treated like a good friend and the consistency of my dinning experience never has wavered.

We have such a great experience. The food was great, being new in Georgia we could not find a good sushi spot, well we did now :-) Selena our waitress was very pleasant and attentive, Brad the chef / owner was great his sushi is awesome. We will definitely go back ! As far as price goes... Well lets just say its like the old saying , you get what you pay for. :-)

Yoon used to fix the best and biggest portions. We looked past his terrible Sushi bar manners ( we have been 30 times and he doesnt have the manners to say hello.) Then he got married and the wife was weighing our sashimi before he served it. Now his portions are small and the tuna is old. Yoon has gone from 1st to worst. Stay sway. Go to Muzi instead.
