Ive been looking for a place like this for a long, long time. Dont get me wrong, I love both gourmet and "authentic" Mexican food, but when it comes to the standard fare, the "comfort food", theres not much to choose from. Laredos is good. la Parilla is good. Theres a few more. But T&B... this place is a cut above. Its not fancy, its very reasonably priced, and its what most people would recognize as normal Mexican food. So whats the difference? These folks know how to run a restaurant, apparently. All my food was fresh, well-prepared, perfectly seasoned, and amazingly delicious. I always ask places for their "house salsa", and the little bowl of joy they brought to me was the best Ive ever had, including outside the US. I had the Rajas con Queso; a simple dish that nonetheless speaks volumes about the staffs ability to create wonderful food. They had live entertainment, which for once was pleasant and not deafening. My wife and I didnt have to raise our voices to hear each other. The service was exemplary and the well drinks were cheap and tasty. Next time, Ill have to actually try their beer. This is the perfect place for those who want to branch out without leaving their favorites behind. Browse their menu and bask in their pride. Its well-deserved. I sincerely hope this place keeps up its inertia and doesnt slide into mediocrity like so many of its peers, but given the all-around level of quality, I suspect theyll manage where others have failed.

Just recently moved into the area, and one thing we noticed is that there are Mexican joints EVERYWHERE! This place is literally right around the corner and doesnt look like much from the outside, but trust me when I say it is wonderful! I am a bit of a food snob, hard to please at a restaurant and have pretty high standards. The food has been delicious every time. My food, my husbands food, my parents food, and my kids who ask to go here by name. Which nothing is funnier than to hear your 7 year old say "Mom can we have tacos and beer?" LOL :) The staff is very friendly, however when they are busy some can get a bit absent minded. This only happened once and I think its because she didnt normally wait tables. The ONLY tiny complaint I will say is when ordering an adult beverage from their giant drink menu they dont seem to know what is on there. I have ordered a drink from that menu 3 times and each time they have asked me "do we make that here?" lol so it seems the wait staff doesnt really know their drink menu. But HIGHLY recommend this place for GREAT Mexican food.

I would recommend not visiting this Mexican restaurant. I heard bad things about it, but I went anyways. I figured its pretty hard to screw up Mexican Food. The seating was pretty bad. My girlfriend and I kept getting pushed forward by the people behind us as they laughed and moved uncontrollably. Our beers came out after about 10 minutes. Our friends arrived. The waitress showed up about 10 minutes later, then their beers came out in about 10 minutes. My friends beer glass exploded as they put cold beer into a super hot glass straight from the wash. It got on everyone at the booth. We left. The staff is terrible. The waitress didnt show up often enough (at all). The retards in the kitchen dont know how glasses work, and we never even got the opportunity to order. I will never visit this place again.

We were lookin for an authentic Mexican restaurant to eat last Wednesday, and my friend recommended us to try Tacos and Beer. We came in and they had a special of 8.95$ for fajitas and 2.00$ Pints which was an excellent deal. The food was very delicious and well prepared, the service was amazing, and the place was very clean . Ever Since that day we have gone. We came today, and they had 99 cents tacos. The place was packed, but the quality was still excellent. Ask for carol she is amazing!!

My husband and were told to try Tacos and beer from one of his coworkers when we first moved to Canton. I cant understand the last review. We dine there about once a week and have never had a problem The guacamole mexicana is so fresh! Every meal we tried is excellent and flavorful. The hostess always has a big smile. The waiters and waitresses are always there to help. The fresh margaritas are so good! Tuesdays are busy but thats a good sign isnt it? Try it its great!!???

Food is excellent and the staff is great. Menu includes normal Tex-Mex cuisine with some house specialties as well as a kids menu. Prices I cant argue with either. The only reason I give them 4 stars is the building itself. The food and the waitstaff are far superior to the atmosphere. Not that its bad just seems like it were better they could charge more. Whenever we cant decide on a place to go the wife and I will always choose Tacos and Beer.

This is my favorite restaurant north of Hwy 92. The food is awesome and the staff are beautiful!! The margaritas are only decent however and (only one visit) the staff acted like they knew nothing at all about alcohol or how a drink was supposed to be made. Its fine though. They have Karaoke sometimes and its loud as hell. This is good if Im there to sing but not so awesome if Im just trying to chill and eat or have a drink with a friend.

Food is always great here. More homemade and less "commercial" which is a great thing. They have a creatively unique menu and an even more impressive bar menu. The staff always goes above and beyond to make our experience a perfect one. Especially Mario!!! I love coming here over anywhere else. The atmosphere and value are incomparable!!! Tacos and Beer is our favorite! We are regulars on Taco Tuesday!!

Food was ok, pretty standard food for a Mexican restaurant. I was really hoping for some more exciting taco options since the name is tacos and beer. The service was good but got slower and slower the busier it got. I think they only had two waitresses working and one had to work as the hostess too. My only real complaint was how loud the music was.

Nothing just got a to go order, 3 things were right out of the bag, got attitude when asked to make it right! Bartender, took our order, by memory, and completely forgot our beans and rice! Clue, do not order mexican food, when an american is taking the order! I will tell anyone, never go here, 7 tequilas is a much better establishment

We eat here at least once a week. Theres a very close knit staff that bleeds over into your dining experience. You feel like a part of the group instead of just a number. Great food, great prices, and a great staff. Mario and Carlos take care of us weekly. Always a good experience. Now stop reading and start eating you nerds.

This place is great. I come here with my friends almost every week. The food is good, the magaritas are solid, and the staff is awesome. I dont really care for the chips and salsa, but everything else is very good. Definitely give it a shot. The house specials are usually amazing.
