I rarely eat fried / junk foods but decided to treat myself to something greasy, an order of onion rings. I went through the drive-thru and that was a 20 minute ordeal w/ 1 car in front of me which didnt make much sense to me but then I figured out the hold up was the cashier (1 of the 3 girls standing at the window looking clueless), had messed up all the orders. She had charged the car in front of me for my order and had to give them a refund. I make it to the window, I give them money and FINALLY have the onion rings in hand. After much confusion and incompetence on their part, I decide to check my order before pulling off and I look in the bag to find B-U-R-N-T rings. I get back in line to return, make it to the window once again and the cashier acknowledges they were burnt before I could get a word out of my mouth. She claimed to have questioned him (the manager, I assume) about serving such, which obviously did not have any impact on him becausethey had already briefly discussed, NOT corrected and knowingly served. I asked for the manager and she did not answer. My Question is: Would she eat them?, probably not but chose to serve them to me... No, No, No!!! Thats not right! I was offered a replacement order, then a replacement order and my money back ...but I declined the replacement rings and got a refund. I WAS OVER IT! This is one of the fast food places that you mark off the list and Do Not Return! I went next door to Sonic and picked up an order of onion rings, not bad.

I have to disagree with almost every other review here. This is the ONLY DQ I go to in the Lexington area. They are consistently fast, courteous, and always get my order right. As an added benefit - their ice cream/soft serve seems to be the coldest in town. By that, I mean that when you order your Blizzard its not halfway melted by the time it gets to you. You actually have time to enjoy it without trying to hurry and eat it before its a puddle. Definitely recommend this location over all the rest!

Worst blizzard ever. The past few visits have been very disappointing. But tonight took the cake. I was handed a blizzard that I would compare to soup. I sent it back and their solution was to add more Butterfinger. So I left very upset with a cup of 80% candy bar and 20% milk. Dont think we will be giving them our business again!!

The staff at this Dairy Queen is exemplary and should be commended for their pleasant demeanors. The service is fast and correct, and the store is always clean. The $5 lunch is an outstanding deal. Entree, drink, side, and dessert all for $5 is unbeatable.

Staff were not "on it." Cashier could not figure out the change owed when the register screwed up. Blizzards were mostly melted when we got them and were overflowing the cups. The amount of Oreos in the blizzard was just right, however.

This Dairy Queen is great. We almost always go late a night, and while I feel bad about them making the blizzards right before they close they are always very nice about it have a smile on. It is the only on I go to in lexington.

If you want soft ice cream .... its the same good old DQ as decades ago. And if you want one of the new grill items they have those too. And they are open pretty late. The drive thru however is tight.

I only swing by in the mornings, it takes literal ages to get a sausage biscuit; I assume they have 1.5 staff working before 9am. Decent food, long wait.
