For those of you that know and love Villagio in Norwalk, youll be excited like my wife and I to see Villagio Urbandale just north of Hickman Road and 100th. When we moved to the west side of Waukee it cut down on our opportunities to enjoy the best pizza in the Des Moines area. The new Bellagio has all the delicious sandwiches, Pizza, and perhaps in my opinion most importantly the fabulous bread sticks of the original in a much larger more formal dining environment. While they are still working out some of the details of a more formal dinner experience, I would encourage you to get over soon and bring your appetite. The all-meat pizza is a monster and the Italian beef is a moist, delicious treat covered with melty cheese. We have yet to find an item that we didnt like and I think you will enjoy it too.

Its a newly opened restuarant with a good sized bar, and the dining area is just cozy. We met the owner, he is a really nice guy, and served us himself. We ordered the onion rings, house salad with italian dressing and hot Italian pizza. We were first impressed by the generous size of the appetizer, and were soon taken over by the delicious salad, which was a great mix of vinegar and spice, very refreshing. The thin crust hot italian pizza was just amazing, the best Ive ever had. I would absolutely suggest everyone try it out if you can handle spicy food. When I woke up the next morning, I was hungry for it as a breakfast and already planned on going back!

Great pizza (hot italian my favorite) and amazing sandwhiches (hot italian focaccia grinder my favorite). Best comfort italian food in town. Appetizers like cheese sticks and onion rings are delicious and hot. Nothing comes close. Owner is very friendly and a cool guy. Great huge bar with good selection of beers on tap and large tvs on sports on every wall. Service may be slower during busier times, but still definitely worth any wait!

Hours wait for six people, as told to us by other customers, hostess was non existent and multiple tables were empty waiting to get cleared while people piled up by the door waiting to get their name in. Terrible service, how ever Im sure the food is great.

We enjoyed the food, all fresh and tasty, chicken wings sweet and crispy vodka pasta sauce made with Grazianos sausage and fresh parmesiann cheese. Friendly server. We were there mid afternoon. Will go back.

Amazing pizza, best in town. Better than a lot of local pizzerias and destroys pizza hut. Tons of ingridents and the sauce is amazing. The cavatelli is to die for!
