Catering was awful! I ordered Monjuni’s lasagna, salad, bread and a cheesecake for a meeting at work and it was awful! The lasagna was burnt when we opened it, they had put saran wrap then aluminum foil over it and it melted together. There was no cheese on top, it didn’t even look appetizing. It was marked as being able to feed 12 to 15 people and only fed 8 out of 12, so 4 people had to just have bread and salad. The salad was hot and soggy when I got it (even without the dressing on it) and the cheesecake was melted because they had put both sitting there for who knows how long on top of the piping hot lasagna . The food was ready when I got there (I guess that was a plus). It was not worth the price we paid and we will NEVER be going back there for anything. If you value the employees or guests that are at your work, do NOT get Monjuni’s for them.

While my husband and I were waiting for our meal, we overheard an inappropriate comment from one of the cooks, about a lady who was waiting for her to go order. Its was difficult enough to eat our food after noticing how unclean the cooks look, much less after my husband complained about the mens restroom. Unfortunately this takes away any appetite, no matter how good the food is or how well Monjunis is known. We will not eat at this restaurant again.

Setting was a little too rustic for my taste. Had chicken parmesan pasta, was not good. The sauce was bad, had a sweet taste to it like BBQ sauce was added to it. Chicken was not well seasoned so it was like a cooked slab of meat slapped on top of the pasta. The breadsticks with cheese and bread was just ok. Overall, nothing special in any way. Olive garden would have been better, with a much smaller bill.

The shrimp in the shrimp pasta salad was not t de veined not cleaned at all me and my family will never purchase any food form them again. when contacted manager and explained that the shrimp were not clean she stated she eats them all the time and she never gets sick. No one should have to eat unclean shrimp (poop). as a Manager i would have never used those words to any of my customers.

Two stars because who knows if its good for Shreveport, Im from out of town, otherwise 1 stars. The sauce is way too sweet. Less pasta on the plate, having your chicken parm floating on a raft of noodles and excessively sweet marinara sauce. Again the marinara is way too sweet. Maybe try the pizza, but you might want to check to see if they use the same sauce on the pizza.

The food is wonderful, with pretty good portions. Its always busy when we go, and though a little more pricey than an Olive Garden style Italian place, the food is above and beyond. The experience was pleasant and the staff was laid back but attentive in spite of being extraordinarily busy.

Food was not that impressive..shrimp was too fishy and dry..pasta was too cheesy..salad had too much dressing..drink tasted like a watered down slush. Although my server was the only person running around like he was on meth, he was very efficient but hard to stop to get his attention.

Excellent quality and cozy atmosphere. Sadly overpriced. But if youre going to go a monjunis, go to this one as its the original and the best. The others are all a step down. Dont expect typical Italian. It is a very idiosyncratic type of Italian, but still delicious.

Atmosphere, food, service and experience here are above par! This has been, and always will be my favorite location to eat at Monjunis. The history of the location and food all lend itself to an experience that is worth every penny.

I looooove Monjunis sweet marinara sauce and lasagna. In fact, Ive never found anything I didnt like. Baked ravioli, muffaletta, spaghetti, Italian salad, you name it... Monjunis is by far my favourite Italian restaurant.

My favorite of the Monjunis. The staff and food are great here. I almost enjoy them as much as the food. Amber is an incredible server and the "twice baked" lasagna is a top notch. Highly recommended!!!!
