Very Impressive. I would be hard pressed to recall a better dining experience in the last few years, simply outstanding. We had reservations and were promptly seated in a busy dining room. The menu was broad and interesting, our server was perfect. Friendly, knowledgeable and laughed at our jokes. Efficient and prompt cocktails and wine, very reasonably priced. As was the menu. Based on the menu and the quality of the service I was very pleased with how reasonable the prices were. One impressive service note—when my caprese salad arrived (I think it was a special), it looked so good that one of our party commented that he should have ordered it instead of the wedge salad he’d ordered—and our server immediately said that she’d be glad to switch it for him. Bruschetta was excellent, crispy bread, tart garlic, tomatoes, spices. The aforementioned salad (and the wedges) were outstanding. Entrees at the table included Fettuccini and Chicken, Linguini and Seafood, and I had the Pork Chops. Everything was excellent. Great, great restaurant!

Long review short: Best Italian food outside of NY. Having lived on Long Island for several years, I have had some of the greatest (American) Italian food in the country. Zelo is now hands down my favorite Italian establishment outside of NY. The chicken parm is made with actual thin chicken cutlets (not a slab of chicken breast like most places out here) The gravy (sauce) is exceptional. Sweet and fresh with lots of basil just the way my mother used to make. Calamari was lightly fried and just the right amount of crunch to offset the texture of the octopus. Others in my party had the seafood linguini and the chicken fennel soup. Which were both fantastic according to them. The service was great too. I didnt catch her name but our waitress was VERY knowledgable about the menu and wines. Overall, a great experience I cant wait to go back.

My sister was in town for only three whole days and the last lunch we had was at zelo. She had arrived there early with our other sister. I walked in and told the hostess I was there meeting my sister's. She told me they would be in the bar because there was no room in the dining room. I checked the bar they were not there and came back and told them that they were not there I peeked into the dining room and couldn't see them, called on the phone and they said they were in there so i told the hostess who was wearing a black and white striped cardigan that they were there. She followed me in to be sure I was not homeless finally I saw them, turned to the hostess and told her that it was her job to help me find my family not prevent me from finding them. Terrible service
My salmon was great and our server was great.

Started with roasted Brussels sprouts. Slight bitterness of the sprouts was offset by the light honey and almond glaze. Delicious. Wife had spinach fettuccine with chicken that was to die for. I first opted for the 6 oz. filet minon, but it was pretty bland and overcooked for the medium rare I ordered. Mentioned this to my server and she immediately suggested bringing out a different entre. I chose a wild salmon special of the day and was rewarded by a wonderfully seasoned fish, moist and tender, accompanied by a tasty red pepper risotto and grilled asparagus. It was delivered by the manager who did not quibble one bit about me sending back the filet. Great service, good food, and a lovely table out on the sidewalk made for a lovely experience.

Completely forgot about this place until my mother in law suggested it one night. Came here a while back (maybe 6 months ago?) for lunch when there were only a couple other diners, pretty empty. We walked up to the hostess stand and had to wait for the two employees near the bar to finish their conversation, then one looked over and said something along the lines of "the bar is open," we told them we actually wanted to sit down. Once seated it took about 15 minutes before we got waters and menus! Terrible service, the waiter only came back after the food was served to give us the check. We actually wanted to stay for another round of drinks for a more leisurely lunch but we decided to cut our losses. Wish I could give zero stars.

Amazing food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. There food has very complex and unique flavors. The calimari is outstanding. Its very tender, flavorful and fresh. The sauce that goes with it makes it even better. Their cheeseburger is very good as well. Soft grilled egg bun and fresh diced lettuce and tomatoe are all you need because the burger is very high quality and flavorful. Zelo likes zesty and herbal notes in many dishes and also very rich flavors to accompany, without being too heavy. All of there items are dished very well and always come out hot. Drink and desert selections are very good as well. I would highly recommend Zelo and we have been coming here for a few years. Always very delicious.

Its a great restaurant with a creative menu and usually crowded. The staff are really nice and the place is awesome for dating or a classic meal with family /friends. You dont have to be worry about the parking because as you stop by, someone will take care of your car and will park it for you (Its a free offer from Zelo for its customers!) The price is a little bit high, but youll be satisfied with the quality and the portion of the food. I recommend the pasta with shrimp and muscles and scallop! it was awesome. The burgers are also great. I wish they had some desert as well but they dont. As appetizer, they bring you some fresh bread and butter which you shouldnt miss!

This past saturday was by birthday dinner. I had a group of 20 people for reservations. Zelo was up front about us possibly having to sit at seperate tables (near each other). When we got there it looked as we were able to sit together if they were willing to re-organize some of the other tables in the dining area. The manager took off his jacket and along with a few members of the wait staff they accomodated our entire party at one table. (apparently a first for Zelo with that group size) IT WAS GREAT! Food was amazing and the staff was more than delightful to deal with. I will definitely be back and really appreciate you guys making the night memorable.

Pros Ahi Tuna Crisp was delightful: not heavy. Ambiance was great. Cons -Ordered Linguini Di Mare: pasta was undercooked, fishy smell (good seafood should not be fishy smelling), cooking alcohol was strong enough to make me nauseous -Waiter and Manager offered to make another dish. Manager did not introduce himself, did not apologize, did not give empathy, and said "Ill knock off the first entree if you order something else" -Ordered Fettucine with Chicken: tastier than the linguini, but the chef mistakenly salted both the chicken and the light cream sauce (which was actually heavy), so the dish was very salty. Would not recommend and would not go again.

The food and drink is excellent if a bit pricey. The Homemade Ravioli was textbook. With a light and fresh tomato based sauce. The past itself was thin and even all the way around. The filling complemented every element of the dish well. The wine and cocktail list was short but solid. Cocktail prices on the high side for mediocre ingredients (11 dollar margarita with only Cuervo is a sin). My Manhattan was very well done. Our table busser was extremely polite and attentive, however our server seemed pretty disinterested. I would gladly recommend this to place to anyone wanting well executed Italian and is willing to pay a bit more for it.
