Took forever for my friends food to come, took another forever for mine to come, and when it did, it was the wrong order. In the time it took for the waitress to grace us with her presence again, I was so hungry that I ate most of the botched order. She did not do so until another waitress saw we were visibly irritated and asked if we wanted our waitress. When she did come over, she declined to do anything about the mistake, such as comp (or partially comp) the bad order, so we took it out of her tip instead. And as if that wasnt enough, the lady who I assume was manager (or in charge for the night) saw we were upset and did nothing but occasionally make eye contact and look away. And when we told the guy at the cash register that it was not a good experience, he ignored it entirely and had us pay as usual. The restaurants main room (which is half the restaurant) was half full, and there were two waitresses on duty. It was not busy. It took so long just for me to get a stack of buttermilk pancakes which I didnt order. Ridiculous. Ive been going to this place for years, and while never blown away by the service or food, this is just one too many bad experiences wrapped up in one for me to justify ever going back again. I hope they are happy they lost a customer.

Ive gone here a few times and seem to always receive terrible service. Ordered a omelette, hash brown and pancake combo along with a garden omelette (and pancakes) for takeout. First problem when I got home was there was no pancake syrup, butter, ketchup, salt, pepper. Surprisingly they did remember knives and napkins in the bag which I had plenty of at home. How can you eat pancakes without syrup? Second problem was the food, for the amount of money they charge the food should be incredible! But its not, the hashbrown was bland and burnt, the pancakes were extremely dry (would have loved for some syrup right about now) and barely had any flavor. The omelettes were alright, but being almost $9 they should have been a lot better.

This ihop used to be good years back. Not anymore. Last few visits I was disappointed. Ordered home fries with Ham, mushroom, Cheddar and 2 eggs. Cheese wasnt melted, found only five slices of mushrooms and they were totally raw and the whole plate was cold, I Couldnt finish it. Told waitress about it and she just gave me a free small glass of orange juice.. Are you really! ? This is a joke. Will never come back and will go to the diner next door which is cheaper and they know how to cook their food.

I been to this location several times before. Its almost always busy and there is always a wait. The place looks a bit dingy and could use a bit of update along with more syrup containers -- we had to share with three tables!! Our server was nice but forgetful and once she dropped off our food we ceased to exist to her. The food was okay, I ordered an appetizer sampler and the size of the chicken tenders about the size of mid size pinky along with being cold. Definitely a disappointment.

I get onion rings all the time from here but they usually come with only about 5. I got 2 orders of onion rings last time and when I opened the box there was double the amount. I also noticed they didnt look how they usually do. So me and my friend tried a few and they tasted horrible. An hour later both of our stomachs started hurting. Ik this Ihop just gave us the remaining messed up onion rings or else they wouldve never gave us so many. Hopefully its not food poisoning.

The ihop has good service. The food is ok. I am just very surprised that they would only honor military discounts if you were in uniform. We showed I.D.but they would not honor it. They are the only ihop on this side of the island....maybe the whole island. That being said...im sure they get enough business that they could do the right think by our military! Ihop in State Island NY gets a thumbs down. ...one star for that! :(

My eggs were over cook, the beacon was nothing but under cooked fat. The hash browns were so thick it was like eating mashed potatoes. My sweet cheese crepe hardly had any cheese inside. The coffee pot leaked from the bottom. When that was brought to the waitresss attention, she replaced it with another leaking pot. Each time I come here the food and service gets worse. Ihop just lost a family of customers.

Service was good but the last few times going there the food was terrible. One time I went there the pancakes tasted microwaved not fresh another time for was not fresh this last time food that shouldve been hot if they just made it was cold over all it reminded me why I do not go to to this IHop thats why I go to other IHop for quality and quantity I recommend going elsewhere.

I heard employees get yelled and cursed by the manager, and this is embarrassed! I was in IHOP once and heard the manager cursed him in front Of everybody! !! Is it what we wanna see coming to eat and idiot really professionalism? Is it the whole owner family like that because the manager was Asian? What a horrible example this place shows to people. Very diss appointed!

Was going..have a taste for eggs burger..but after reading they do things to people food..no way..and saying wait takes for ever ..I will go to ny some were..restaurants need to pay attention to there reviews. Cause if u act up u get wrote up for all to see..and no I write reviews any place I go.i pay money I expect to b treated well and my food very good ..I lov to eat

Great food and exceptional service. Got seated right away and Ashley is an amazing server. She is quick, curtious, kind hearted, beautiful and has an amazing memory. Just by saying a couple words "fresh batch" and she remembers who I am instantly. Could be months that go by and she always remembers. Couldnt be happier with the food and service. Thank you IHOP team

The waiting was ok and service was great. Food was good too. But I think it would be better to put down a reservation so that you are not waiting for 20-30 minutes just to be seated for breakfast. However other times I have went here service was horrible and waiting time took forever. Orders were sometimes mixed up. Its ok overall most times

Got up this morning wanting Pancakes so I took my cousin to Breakfast, what a waste of time it was only 6 customers so you would think get in get out we waited 15minutes before anyone came and asked if we needed help the host who sat us down was Clueless, Thank God For The Dakota Dinner next door on forest ave good food great service.

My wife loves this place and Im ok with it. Gets very packed on Sunday. Food is good if a little heavy. Coffee is regular diner style burnt coffee. But they will let you swap out the unevenly cooked "hashed browns" (way different than McD hash browns) for the roasted potatoes. Those roasted potatoes are crazy good.

Its ok we have been going there for years and they havent updated the place and its starting to look rundown for morning always get cold breakfast since waiters take a while to pick up order from cook portions have been going down and prices up looks like sons of owner not doing a great job like father did
