This place seems like a great idea for Iowa City but over priced and poorly run. I tried to do the online ordering but the system would not accept the order, so I called the store. No one picked up the first two times I called and finally someone answered and was not very friendly. I was quoted a time of 30 min (For a salad and sandwich, Seriously?) and then when I went to pick it up, the salad was MUCH smaller than the other two times I have gotten it and there was a $5 price difference from the online order and when I went to pick it up. WILL NEVER RETURN. Save your money and your patience

I was kicked out while waiting for a friend to buy salads because I had a starbucks drink in my hand. The worker said "My manager got mad at me for letting you sit here" saying since it was outside food and java was the neighbor, so I had to leave. I was waiting for maybe 5 minutes and I was not going to stay and study all I wanted was to buy a salad and leave. I felt disrespected and undervalued as a customer.

My Salad was good, but the employees were not very familiar with the ingredients. Cashier had trouble ringing me up, and I was charged for items I did not get. My drink from the cooler was warm. They employ a no laptop rule which I didnt realize until after I ordered. I used my laptop anyway. Good model but missed my expectations this trip.

Their Broccoli & Cheese Soup is wonderfully creamy and the broccoli is fresh, as it crunches. Wink when you ask for a senior discount, and tell them the old guy sent you. I recommend the Turkey & Avocado half & half special.

An ideal place for a healthy snack...soup of day is available and so delicious...sandwiches are fabulous too...calm and cool place to relax and enjoy your meal...I love it!!!

Ive had Heirloom a couple of times. Their sandwiches are delicious and inventive. I havent tried anything else yet but I heard the soups are pretty awesome.

I love their soups and salads!! New Jersey Tomato is the best! I only go there every once in a while but, every time I am always happy with the results :)

Great food but a bit overpriced. As others have said the employees are friendly but arent always sure of what to charge for what so dont be afraid to ask.

The salads at Heirloom are great! They can be a tad bit pricey but you wont find another place like this in downtown IC.

Food is great. Awesome selection and quality..BUT please fix your beverage cooler..all bottled water was warm.
