If there was lower than a one, I would choose that. My husband and I visited this IHOP last night. We arrived at 8:40 p.m. There were four tables occupied. The hostess seated us quickly and told us that our server, Stephanie, would be with us shortly. The hostess took our drink orders and brought them out to us straight away. She then left for the evening as it was the end of her shift. Several minutes later, we watched as two servers carried food to a table in the corner. Neither spoke to the other diners. They went in the back and returned together after a few minutes carrying food to the table behind us. Again, neither spoke to anyone else and returned to the back. A few more minutes pass and Stephanie goes to take the orders of the two remaining tables. The other server, Ann, then comes to take our order. She apologizes, but is laughing. It is now 9:00 p.m. As this is not our first time having issues with service at this particular IHOP, we made the decision to leave and go somewhere else. We will not return to this location.

Lived here for 3 years. Used to come up and visit and we would eat here. Foods pretty decent. They do a good job most the time of cooking it how you ask. Wait staff is hit or miss. Used to go at 2am and got decent service because was normally only one in there. Everytime have gone during the day its about a 30min wait. Went the other day for their 58¢ short stack special. I figured itd take awhile being one of those days so no big deal. Barely got my plate before they put the check on the table. Thats one of my biggest pet peeves. If I go somewhere Im there to enjoy my food and eat. Shoving a check at me and then constantly coming by while Im eating to see if Ive slipped my card in there yet is a quick way to get no tip and on average I tip 50% because I know waiters and waitresses dont make much. Think Im pretty well done going here though. Ill just go back to waffle house next time I want breakfast food or visit a different ihop. Its a shame to. Really liked that ihop from past visits.

We come to IHOP, after lunch rush on Easter about 2:30 pm. It wasnt busy and there were maybe 20 people in the entire place and we were seated at a table in an empty section right next to another couple. I asked for a booth and she said that section was closed. The next couple coming in behind us were seated in another section in a booth. We ordered and the food was hot and good, but my husband asked for a glass of milk and he was almost done with his meal before he got it. The server was good saying that the milk needed to be changed out. waiting on the milk, a group of 4 came in and were sat DIRECTLY next to us with at least 15 tables in that particular section empty. We understood servers getting off work and sections being closed down, but at one time, I counted 9 servers standing behind the partition wall talking. Not the best experience at IHOP.

We arrived at the searcy IHOP around 11 pm. It took around 15 minutes to be seated, let me point out the hostess was talking to another employee looking at us the enitre time, after we got seated our order was taken quickly. The customers that came in behind us had been seated, fed, and left before we even got our meal. It took us close to an hour to get our fifty dollar order. Our drinks were empty close to the enitre time we were there. When it was time to pay the waitress took our card and it took us another 10 minutes to get it back. The manger was lacking communication skills and interest in her customers. The only reason we didnt walk out was because of our horrible service was a young man named Ian who took the time and tried to explain and apologize. We ending up leaving around 12:40 am. We will not be coming back to this establishment.

Our server was sweet enough but everyone can be if you pour syrup on them. When our food finally arrived after a longer wait than should have been normal, my mushroom and spinach omelette was cold as were my pancakes. My sons meal should have come with a side of dries and a go-gurt, that we had to end up asking for. We had to ask for drink refills. Our server even told is before we received our food that it was indeed up and ready, but she was running behind. Our server also told us even though she our the correct fruit on the ticket for my sons pancakes, they were made wrong and she had to have them remade. It was ridiculous at best as far as service and food quality. I will not be back. I paid for my food, but did not leave a tip.

First of all...I NEVER have written a review for anything. But, I have been disappointed on two occasions with this IHOP. Ive been to many IHOPs all across the country, and this one is sub-par. Nothing really stands out as being terrible, but it is none-the-less disappointing: Inexperienced staff...sticky tables and menus...sloppy, mediocre food (by IHOPs standards). Im positive that the cook really doesnt care about pleasing the customer, and it puts inexperienced servers in a position that they are not equipped to handle. There is obviously a breakdown in management...until I see a sign out front stating "under new management", I will be going to Waffle House :)

Christmas day 2016... Me and my friend had 2 chocolate milks ..my other friend had sweet tea. His got refilled 3 times before she asked if we wanted water ...the meal which we all ordered pretty much the same thing...it took about 20 minutes to get out good which was warm thank God.. Then she got my debit card...walked by 4 times .i stopped her and asked for it back and she said something like its been a rough night for her... Never got a refund or anything just left and not going back......Good food...long wait and terrible service

I was in your restaurant on 3/2/2017. It wasnt enough that the service was horrible, not to mention I didnt think I would Ever get service! When I finally was brought a drink the outside of the glass had food STUCK to it and there was something inside my glass as well. I am not going to get into the food as mine was left on the plate. But this morning I received a ding from my bank where they had charged me at 8:41 pm and again Twice after midnight! When I reached out to the "manager"she was very rude!

Every time I come to this IHOP I like to convince myself that it wont be as terrible as the time before, but it always gets worse. The service is horribly slow, especially during breakfast hours, and it can sometimes take upwards of 30 minutes just to even get an order put in. Considering that there are cheaper alternatives to 24/7 breakfast restaurants available with better service, IHOP is a terrible choice in Searcy unless they change their service drastically.
