I usually got good service at Jerseys, particurally by one waitress who is very awesome. Being a regurlar customer you would expect good customer service. I get the same burger and each time it was perfect: One time it wasn’t perfect, it was a little raw iniside. I showed my waitress; I thought she said she will bring another burger out, take half of the price off. I was waiting for quite sometime, I stated can i have a to go box, she said for your drink? I said no...was looking for a burger. She mainly told me she took half price off the burger. I said why should I pay for a burger I didn’t eat, she stated, “but you ate half of it” and walked away in a large tone voice. I was furiuos in a way, especially since I am a regular. I wasn’t looking for a handout, it was the customer service that was poor. So many attempts by a note to the manager, then calling the other Jerseys trying to contact the manager, and again leaving my name and number. He/she has not call back yet. Make me think of professionalism in a new light at bars. In essence, the waitress was terriblby rude and not nice, the manager didn’t call me back as a concern customer; my thought at this moment, they don’t care at all. I agree with some of the comments here, the customer service can be terrible and the waitresses (some) they have are not people friendly. This saddens me, but this is the way some companies run their business. I will not go back and plead to anyone, not to go there until they improve their customer service.

Been a customer since they opened, but something is going on within the business because we have noticed that not only service but food quality has been on the down trend. Just there on Sunday 10/23, brought a couple of friends with us since they have never tried Jerseys. The place wasnt that busy, waitress waited on us immediately, we placed our drink order and everything went downhill from there. Our friend ordered a margarita and when it arrived I had to actually ask, to make sure, that it was a margarita. A shot of tequila had to be ordered separately to add to a least help make it taste like a margarita. The beers were fine, and the order of a shot a tequila by another person in our group was fine, cant mess those orders up. Then we ordered appetizers. (I would recommend a better batter recipe for the onion rings). Upon arrival of the food I had to find the waitress to ask for utensils and small plates usually offered with appetizers and then find someone to refill our beer order. Remember, the place was relatively empty, and one of the main reasons I recommended this place was to give some post-flood support to downtown. Then our guest used the bathroom?????? I mean come-on, bad service, filthy facilities, and ?food, we left, never did order lunch and are sure our friends will never return. Its a shame.

Incredibly slow service. We ate here on a saturday, and the place had about ten tables full. Took over an hour to get our food and we were told that the reason why was because the kitchen only had two cooks. One meal we ordered was a kids grilled cheese. How long does it take to make that? Our waitress was good, but was so stressed she started to cry. The manager apologized but refused to comp any meals and instead gave us 20% off the meal, but then came back and said it was our fault he didnt run one of the tickets (it was a split ticket table), and rudely told my aunt that she should of told him she handed him two bills, instead of him checking himself. Even if she was in the wrong, he should of not of been rude. I ordered a margarita flat bread, and after an hour of waiting got what the manager said he made him self, but not with the normal flat bread dough. The dough was more of pizza quality, the cheese cheddar, not the mozzarella I was expecting, and no basil. The restaurant was also very cold and we all had our winter jackets on the entire time we ate. I do not recommend.

Last night (a Saturday night) my boyfriend and I went to Jerseys on C St for dinner around 8:30-9 and I noticed that there werent a lot of cars in the parking lot which I thought was weird and then my boyfriend noticed that their open sign was off. But I told him someone probably forgot to turn it on and I could see people inside eating so we walked to the door and I pulled on it and it was locked. Standing there confused we looked at the hours and it said tip 2 am. There didnt seem to be a private party going on because there were like 3 families across the entire place eating. So to me, I think the staff decided since they werent busy (or maybe they just didnt want to work) that they decided to close early. However, if they were closing for some other reason, i feel they shouldve put a sign up saying that they were closing early for such reason. We ended up going to Buschwoods on Edgewood, which was packed full of people and the food was delicious! I gave it 1 star because I couldnt give it 0 since we never got to experience it.

Carding by waitresses is inconsistent. My girlfriend, who is 22 years old, and I frequent this establishment. Most of the time we are not carded AT ALL when ordering drinks (i am 24 at the time of writing this). Then when we go out for dinner with her parents visiting from Illinois, we order drinks and get carded. My girlfriend, whos parents are present at the table, then gets told that they dont accept out of state licences due to a high number of fake IDs. Now I could be wrong but there are just as many fake Iowa IDs as anything else in this area so the whole stink over this is complete trash as well as their supposed nonsense policy that doesnt even make sense. Totally not coming back to this place again. Wish I could put less than 1 star. Real shame.

The service was slow - slow - slow. It took 10 minutes to get our beverages. There were only a few people in the bar, so I couldnt see why the delay. We ordered our food immediately. One order came out within 15 minutes. The other 2 orders came out an hour and 15 minutes later. We asked our server several times what the hold-up was as others who came in AFTER us was served first. A pizza and a flat-bread order should not take that long. The manager was rude when she was told we felt the service was slow. Never again.... never again.

Poor service. Asked the waitress for some suggestions and everything was good in her mind. She said the Fajita salad was her favorite. We decided to split a sandwich and the salad. The sandwich was fine but the salad was terrible and mainle consisted of nacho chips. It was very dry. When we told her about it she didnt have any responce.

Ive been in a few times and dont have any complaints. I thought the service was very friendly and the food and atmosphere were good. The broasted chicken and BLT are both worth trying. On a hot day like today the BLT was incredible without being too heavy. Cant wait to try more of the menu!
