Extremely inconsistent service. My wife and I go out for ice cream to celebrate or as a pick me up after a tough day and going to this DQ is a total shot in the dark whether or not it is going to make the day better or worse. We go there because we are limited in options nearby so it wins on pure convenience and the selection isnt to bad so I cant complain much about that. When it comes to actually getting what you ordered good luck. We probably go about twice a month and without fail one of those trips is going to result in them managing to get one of our orders wrong. The first few times this happened I let it slide. Now I have to point out the mistake. Sometimes they fix it and I appreciate that. Other times they just make it sound like your fault and move on. Recently I was told the vanilla blizzard I ordered looked like chocolate because they put a chocolate sauce in it before mixing it. Yeah. Thats what chocolate ice cream is.... If I wanted vanilla ice cream mixed with chocolate sauce I would have asked for chocolate ice cream.

Pathetic! Do you know your not supposed to lie to the customer. Do you realize saying sorry goes a long way when your service is very bad. Make sure when you give customers their ice cream they order they get all they ordered so when the customer comes back to get it and all the ice cream they ordered is melted you can sit there and laugh and not even try to make it right. I can see by the reviews your customer service is a complete joke. I will never eat there again and neither will my family and friends! Again please dont lie to a customers face and when they catch you in a lie you dont try to lie your way out of it!

This dairy queen sucks.The staff sucks.The food sucks.They Never get orders right.They barley clean the place.I went there today 8/24/15 i ordered 2 plain sandwiches they even printed plain on the receipt and still got it wrong.So I just wanted to let everyone know dont go to this dairy queen the only thing they get right is blizzards

The Employee named Orrin Kelderman was very kind young man and happily took my order and gracefully handed me my food which tasted delightful. He the employee of the week ALL THE TIME, maybe even manager, the OWNER. But all the other employees are trash and the store is garbage......................

This store has the WORST franchise owner, she treats her staff like crap...no wonder the moral is bad....someone needs to explain to her that here in America we value our employees and treat them with respect if we expect have productive workers and happy customers!

Liked nothing. Employee mopped the floor by lapping a soaking mop around and not caring that customers were trying to sit down. The counter person was snotty and rude. They got a blizzard wrong. TWICE. Then they were mean and argumentative when asking for a refund.

I have been coming to DQ in Altoona for the past 30 years, since I was little. Great restaurant, always has sweet treats of different flavors and mixes. Ice cream has a richer taste than froyo. Mixing in candies and other things such as syrup makes it even better.
