I placed an order for pickup at 5:30. I arrive around 5:25 to see if my order is ready. When I go in, they tell me they havent even started making it, and its going to take 5-10 minutes. Im thinking okay, thats fine, Im early anyway. It looked like one person there was over 18. 10 minutes pass, still nothing. They offer me a free soda, so I take that thinking it will be out soon. At 5:50, they tell me my order is ready, but to no surprise it was the wrong order. They then replace the wrong order with mine after waiting EVEN LONGER. My question is this, why have the service to let people order online, if your incoherent staff cant handle a simple burrito bowl order with chips and guacamole. After seeing four other people come back in during the time I was waiting for my food, I can guarantee I will never return to this location. So then when I get home, I realize I YET AGAIN HAVE THE WRONG ORDER!!! The guacamole I was given was more or less 2 halves of an avocado and some brown slush in the middle. I dont think Ive ever had such a bad experience at a restaurant. Never eating here again.

Im a huge Chipotle fan but this location is terrible and has been struggling for years.... I only live a mile away so its convenient but every time my husband or I go it never fails to disappoint.... Today was no different. The line was out the door which is expected around dinner time. However, compared to other locations where they work like a well orchestrated unit, this one was in complete disarray. The manager on duty kept bringing and taking food bins so the assembly line would stall on every order. ... They also forgot the guacamole on the veggie bowl even after I told them to put it on. .....The manager or owner should spend time at the Oakdale, White Bear or Bloomington locations. Those locations get people in and out. I hope they read this and change something! Disappointed loyal customer

This is the worst Chipotle location in the world. Chipotle is a staple of my diet. My sister in law picked me up some Chipotle from this location tonight, and I am truly disgusted by the terrible proportions I was given. It looks like they gave me a third of a meal, with no more than a table spoon of chicken (I love Chipotle chicken). Moreover, they had no damn salad dressing (I love Chipotle salad dressing). If you are addicted to Chipotle as I am, I recommend you drive to either location in Woodbury. The Woodbury locations are consistent and delicious. If you must go to the Highland Park location, be sure to confront the management and pack a second meal to eat. You WILL be disappointed. EDIT: To follow up, felt sick 45 minutes after eating... I hate this Chipotle.

This place is slow, stingy on meat, stingy on chips, and I got charged for double meat when I didnt even get a full spoonful. Only the cook knows whats going on, and every time you walk in, there is a different crew and different portions. Three visits ago, I walked in, waited for 15 minutes just to have the ENTIRE LINE of employees ABANDON the customers! After walking out the door, I cant believe I came back, but when I returned everything was satisfactory. The portions were generous, so I returned twice. This last visit is the absolute last. They couldnt even fill the chip bag for chips and guac. I received a bag with no more chips than a fun sized Doritos bag. Save yourself the trouble and find something else to eat.

I have been pretty disappointed with this Chipotle for quite some time but today made me have to tell the world. Today there was no one in line and it took me around 10 min to get my burrito. To make it even worse the steak looked like it had been sitting there for quite some time and although it was not a main rush time I still think there should be fresh ingredients at all times. To top it all off it was the worst rolled burrito I have ever seen. The guy clearly didnt even try and stuff was already falling out before he put tin foil over it. I literally had to throw it on a plate and eat it with a fork when I got to work. This Chipotle could use some new employees who care a little more about the customer.

"SMALL PORTIONS,LONG WAITS" I have been pretty disappointed with this Chipotle for quite some time but today made me have to tell the net. We are not sure why we still eat there...... But this location is "always" busy and they "always" short us (my company) on the meat... They like to give lots of rice, and less chicken, steak, etc... We fax in the orders and at 50% of the time, its cold, and not ready. Very slow, workers need to be told several times what ingredients to add to the burrito, poor wrapping just makes for a frustrating experience. As someone who frequents Chipotles around the state, this is the worst..... love Chipotle as a franchise, but this location sucks, quite frankly.

The reason I have given them such a low rating; they are not consistent with there portions when preparing the burrito. Today when I went into the Highland Park location to pick up a burrito for a family member, it was so small I had to make a comment. The man after me asked for extra rice and then he was given more rice and chicken.Later I asked him if he had to pay extra he replied no. It seems they discriminate; judging how one looks "a persons size-gender"when preparing either a small or larger burrito. Some very small people, eat very big! They need to prepare the same size for everyone;start using measuring cups! Is chipotle serving very small burritos to everyone?

Unbelievable I always thought it was just me but I can say after reading these reviews. I have never been to a Chipotle that was constantly out of ingredients for a burrito. Out of approzimately 10 visits I can say they have had everything I wanted maybe once or twice. They never have fajita veggies ready and the meat is always running low. Not to mention the portions are unlike any of the other stores. I havent had problems with bad attitudes as much as others but it seems the cooks could care less there are 10 people in line and half the ingredients are running low. Who manages this place anyway??? I think they need a visit from a general manager here.

This Chipotle has its days. Some days the food is spiced adequately and everything tastes wonderful and other you get a tasteless lump of cardboard beans and soggy cooked vegetables. Popular with college students from St.Thomas but also popular with the families in the neighborhood, the establishment is trendy and family oriented. Most evenings the location is always packed because of the dinner rush. The location is nice being in Highland but navigating parking can be challenging during peak business hours especially since its next to a Target and the Ford Parkway/Cleveland Ave intersection.

I love Chipotle as a franchise, but this location sucks, quite frankly. The line is usually out the door, but the worst aspect of this particular location is the fact that no one here appreciates efficiency. Every now and again, youll get the right staff on the right day and have an efficient experience, but most of the time not so much. Its clear most of the staff here are students, which may be why it seems like no one working here seems invested in the place enough to do a great job.
