Who remembers the pre 2010s Uptown? FROM SCRATCH baked goods, sandwich of the day, tasty touch mega millers, scratch made onion marmalade, scratch made jalapeno jelly? You guys remember that? This place is a shell of itself. Frozen cinnamon rolls, hollandaise out of a can. Only thing home made are the eggs! The service is good, and so is the coffee. The food though. I can get the same meal cheaper at waffle house and be more impressed. Try harder and do better.

The guy that compared it to a waffle house nailed it, and just like he said, while the waffle house format applies, the food, service, and staff attitude is great. We had breakfast and our eggs were nice and fluffy with flavor, the breakfast meats were good, and the amount of food we got for money spent was on target, we didnt leave hungry. Its a small place and it was packed the day we went, we sat at the bar.

The Ronnoco coffee blend is wonderful. Chicken salad croissant was delicious, as was the tuna salad. Service is always fast and courteous. My only complaint is the seating. Please, invest in some new barstools, booths, and replace the rickety folding chairs! Dining here is good for the tummy; BAD on the tush.

Great coffee and service in a very small restaurant. They offer bar stool seating as well in front of the cook so it is sort of a 5 star Waffle House. The Eggs Benedict was perfect and the staff was friendly and quick.

Uptown is my all time favorite breakfast place. My husband and I go as often as possible. I would recommend anyone who visits to get the home made strawberry jam on toast!

Side salad is excellent! I always love a place who puts hard boiled eggs on a salad. The bacon cheddar quiche was not good. That was disappointing. Cute atmosphere!
