Came to Nashville for our anniversary and found this hidden gem this morning. This afternoon Im back and writing this while sipping on an iced coffee with a shot of spiced brown sugar flavor and its fantastic! I have to say its every bit as good as the "Red Eye" I slammed this morning! To validate how great the coffee is; my wife wont drink black coffee, she drinks "coffee" (flavored creamer with a little bit of coffee), when I told her to try it she couldnt get over how smooth it was and I had to almost pry it (and the iced coffee) back out of her hands! Its good stuff to say the least. Ill be making daily stops the remainder of our trip! Iris has created something great here but dont take my word for it!

Quirky and fun. My wife and I recently moved to Nashville. My wife had lived here before but Im new. We were wandering around town and found this place and Iris, the owner. The shop is laid back and a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee and meet some of the other locals that have been here far longer than me. Iris is charming and a wonderful hostess. My wife and I look forward to our walks to get coffee for me and hot chocolate for her. Maybe even a slice of some awesome German Chocolate Cake while were there. Well worth stopping in for a cup of coffee and taking a break from shopping and sight seeing.

I love this place. The coffee and tea are great and the owner is so nice and awesome to talk to. The place is so quaint and inviting and my friends and I love sitting and talking and playing games while sometimes getting to hear a free concert with some beautiful voice singing or playing the piano. So relaxing of a place

This one my favorite coffee house in the world. Ive had coffee in at least 6 countries on three continents; as far west and north as the Aleutian Islands and as far east and south as Jerusalem, Israel. Ive never had better fresher coffee or anyone friendlier than Iris making it for me.

I have lived in Brown County for over 10 years, and I can promise you - Iris pours the absolute best coffee in town. NO comparisons! No discussion. And excellent quiche and pastries. If you need good coffee and a rejuvenating atmosphere, bring your friends here. This is the place.

This place is the greatest! Excellent coffee drinks. Incredible homemade desserts, and an atmosphere and decor is like sitting at home relaxing. And the best stuffed pepper in the world!! You are going to love Iris, the owner.

Our favorite coffee stop ANYWHERE! Iris is the greatest and our kids love the great smoothies. We highly recommend a stop at Common Grounds anytime you are in Nashville!
