Ive eaten here a lot and normally had a good experience, but last night was very different. My boyfriend, his son and I got there at 8:30 pm on a Thursday night, TWO HOURS before close, and about a third of the food had run out. The dessert bar was COMPLETELY empty except for 2 things. On top of that, they were spraying cleaning chemicals right on the bar by the food and cleaning like they were about to close. When my boyfriend asked if they were going to restock the buffet, they asked what we wanted and said theyd just cook a little and bring it to us. When my boyfriend said "thats not what we want, we just want the normal buffet selection," she just walked away and started talking to the waitress in another language. She eventually came to our table and CLEARLY said, "Ill give you 50% off your bill", smiled, and walked away. When it came time to check out, she refused to honor the discount she said shed give us, and we ended up paying full price for about half the selection of food. Needless to say, were never eating there again. Its over-priced to begin with, and you have to go at their peak hours if you want to somewhat get your moneys worth.

The food was good, but we will not be returning. The staff and service sucks and they are very rude. Dont bother paying for drinks because they will never give you a refill. My waitor never came to my table at all. Then when I finally asked for a refill before we left he had an attitude as if I was asking for him to walk to Asia to get it . The two ladies that work at the check out counter are complete Bitches. I asked about my drink offer that is advertised saying to do a check-in on Facebook to receive one free drink and the chicks acted like I was asking for a million dollars. Then I said thank you and have a nice day 3 times and they looked at me and turned their heads. Mind you both of them spoke English when we came through the door, but all of a sudden they dont speak. For the $40 I just gave them I should of atleast been treated like a customer and not like I was coming through a McDonalds drive-thru. The only one that was nice was the Spanish girl that greated us. How Ironic!! I bet they probably treat her like crap Im sure.

Well tonight my family and I ate at your restaurant and the food was nasty the drinks where the worst thing I have ever drank in my life the waitress couldnt understand anything I was trying to tell her so we was without drinks for most of our dinner I fill like I shouldnt have had to pay for the drinks and they was very rude as they went ahead and talked in there language in front of me so that I couldnt understand anything they was saying and then told me we ordered them so they had to be paid for it was very rude the worst Forty dollars I have ever spent in my life I will definitely not be returning to your restaurant.I am also letting you know that I do not want to give you a star rating but the way you have your site set up you have do give at least one star to give a review that is how badly you need star ratings pathetic Sincerely Misty Valentine

This is a good value for the money type of Chinese place. The food is decent, the selection is extensive, and the prices are usually excellent. The restaurant is large, but looks a little worn out in areas. The atmosphere is that of a buffet. This is not the place to take a hot date. The exception is that your date is starving and nothing but massive quantities of General Tsos chicken will sate her. Most of the staff there seem pretty indifferent towards customers. Theres probably a slight language barrier most of the time. Ive found that if you go during the busy times, the food is always hot and fresh. The soups are tasty, and the sushi is merely acceptable. Take-out is also a good value. Its charged by the pound. I havent figured out exactly how they decide on the price, but it usually tends to be around $5/lb.

Teppanyakis the biggest Chinese buffet in Lafayette and their selection is excellent. Beyond the routine staples like chicken with vegetables and beef with broccoli, the buffet also includes a full sushi bar, a hibachi grill, soups, salads, a variety of fruit, ice cream, and desserts; plus, for those who prefer American food (yet for some odd reason still came to a Chinese restaurant) there are familiar standbys like French fries, onion rings, fish, chicken, sausage, zucchini, rolls, etc. Quality-wise it cant compare to ordering fresh off a menu, but as buffet fare goes its definitely good, and the price is reasonable—even more so if you fill up a box for carry-out, for which they charge by weight. Service is prompt and friendly.

On Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 I visited this Place. I was very disappointed in the food. The food did seem to change very quickly. I dont know what happened, who took over? Its very weird. I did once visit after the changes happened and I was waiting for it to turn 3:30 so I could get some of the dinner buffet. But, they didnt change the food quickly. It was about 4:15 when they FINALLY switched. The only thing that caused me to rate this 2 stars was the very nice waiter at our section. Her name was Lin. I was very satisfied with her effort to provide quality service. And, not only was she the nice one here, there was this lady at the cashier she was providing quality service as well. So, think twice about coming here again.

This is an all you can eat buffet style restaurant. I kept going back to the buffett trying to find something with real flavor to the food. It never happened. I only sampled a few bites of different dishes and did not have a true meal. I left 100% disappointed and hungry. Did not enjoy the atmosphere. Difficult to interact with wait staff. Felt like being in a barn. With pig troughs. In the interest of full disclosure, I am not a fan of buffet restaurants. I was here to meet an acquaintance for lunch based on their recommendation. Will not trust their restaurant judgement in the future. Those who enjoy quantity over quality may enjoy this place.

WARNING--- stay away. I dont complain or write reviews ever, But this is worth knowing. We got our plate of food and ate about half the plate, then noticed a bug that kinda looked like a roach or pincher bug. It was neither, who knows what it was. I dont want to make a scene so we asked to see manager. Obviously we lost appetite to eat anything. The manager offered to make us new food. Lol who does that? Long story short he said I give you 10% off. WHAT? I had to laugh. Long story short paid 17 bucs for 1/2 plate of food. I guess I should have made a scene. Wish I would have took a picture. Ohh well.

Its service is mere taking your plate away. And their food type is fixed.mostly greasy overnight food which will be fried over for another round. I would like to raise a question, we bought chicken wings for like $2.79/pound while their pricing being $7.55 per person, so their food quality would hardly be out of the question. After going to the toilet for like several times the night after I stopped by their place, I had made up my mind to cease to stop by. P.S. There is a waitress who keeps taking your plate, implying that you shall leave ASAP. Bad customer experience
