Oh my, Nashville is full of disappointing places to eat.... And this is another one !!!! When you walk in, you see steam coming up from the buffet tables so you think the food would be warm, it was disappointing. The large seating area was empty at the beginning of lunch. The Chicken was way over cooked, the noodles was cold, the egg drop soup had zero flavor. My co dinner had cold food and some mystery pop, it was not what he ordered which was a Dr. Pepper. His soup had zero taste. The table sitting next to us, sent there coffee back saying it was not coffee. Maybe the Dr. Pepper made it to there coffee cup. Even the tooth pics taste stale. Fortune cookies were stale and must be past expiration date if they have one. This food critic recommends anyplace else but here, McDonalds, Burger King or Wendys will give you a hot sandwich.

I loved this place, and today was my 2nd visit. They have one of the largest Buffets I have ever seen which made the choices unlimited. I also love knowing this is a Small Family Owned Business. The people that work there are Friendly and the restaurant was exceptionally clean. NOW, let me tell you about the Won Ton Soup. It is the best I have ever had. I just want the soup part - not the Won Ton, and this broth is not the usual watered down chicken broth that you get at most Chinese places. I look forward to going back and trying all their other soups as well as some more of the food choices. I think it will take 20+ visits to try everything and Im up to the task.

Half of what I had tasted like fish...but it was chicken and an egg roll. Their beef lo mein tasted normal at least but not particularly good. I ordered carry out and got a bad feeling as soon as I walked in. The WHOLE place smells like fish and not in a good way. Reminiscent of the Cumberland river on a hot humid day. Anyways...I politely expressed my concerns and the lady there refunded me over the phone. 2/5 since the refund was given. I worked in food service for 11 years and I personally cant stand complainers but this is my honest review.

Great family own restaurant. Ive enjoyed more than a handful of meals at Capital! The staff is always nice! Not pushy, not snotty, nor in a rush to get you out. Just nice good people. Now the food. sushi and Chinese menu. No need to go two different spots. You can have a regular menu or all you can eat! Amazing! Food is fresh and the restaurant dinning area is casual but clean. There is a spot down the street, also good but I give thumbs up to Capital Asian buffet for the reasons above. :0)

One of the more descent chinese/Japanese buffets Ive been to. Very large selection. They actually have more than just California rolls in their "sushi" bar, unlike other buffets Ive visited. The egg rolls didnt taste as fresh as I hoped, and werent very crunchy. The seafood didnt look very appetizing either so I didnt try any of the fish. But everything else was very tasty. What you would expect for an Asian buffet!

Started closing up over an hour before closing. Closed the Hibachi but left out the raw food then steamed it with no flavor. Mopped??? I would call it throughing water on the floor. Im a a disabled vetran and had to call my son over to help me back to our table. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. and neither will my family.

Food was ok.... has gone down the last few times Ive gone. The service was horrible. They started preparing the restaurant for closing by moping the area around the buffet 1.5 hours before closing. Was surprised that they now charge $8.99 lb for crab legs which were once included.

Not very impressed. The green beans look like they have been on the buffet all day , not even green anymore . Have never seen Chinese that wasnt fried well but the crab Rangoon are grey and droopy . Scallops were very good and the Lo mein . A lot of the food looks tired .

This place is horrible found a roach in my shrimp.... And when i showed the waitress she said thats what their shrimp came with ... Then started laughing and said she was just kidding and reach in my plate and took the roach. Never again will i come here

My daughter and I went to this restaurant for lunch and I saw a live roach on the buffet by the sushi. I called the health department but I can see nothing has been done because they are still open. I will NEVER eat there again.
