I go here about every 2-3 weeks for almost 2 years. You do the math. I can tell you that prices are best in town if you go during Lunch time and are looking for good sushi. The sushi is the best I have ever seen in any other Asian style buffet thats mainly why I come here. The rest of food is alright, The black pepper chicken, miso soup & desserts are delicious! The one and only thing that I cant say is great is the staff. If you dont mind being rushed to eat and get out then this is a great place to go. The reviews about the cleanliness of the bathrooms are absurd. If you go to a restaurant just to use the bathroom & base your reviews about that, it would be like writing a review about the quality of food at a gas station. I have not had to use the bathroom there in all the 2 years I have come here. Sorry that you ate so much that you couldnt wait to go to the bathroom. Overall I give this place a solid 4. Keep up the good work.

I like a good restaurant, but I love a decent buffet. Im very pedestrian in my tastes regarding buffets, so this one fits the bill. I went for lunch, right at opening, 11AM, on a Monday. Restaurant is typical buffet style, dark wood, lots of tables, low lighting. Pretty clean, organized. Wait staff was great, friendly. Asian food selection was good, sushi selection was great, which is what I came for. Ate 4 plates of sushi(added a few steam table dishes on the side). Hot food was typical of asian buffet. They also had the asian barbecue grill section, but I didnt do that today. For the price, was very good. Its almost 8pm, tummys fine, so Ill be back. Hot food was hot, cold food was cold.Didnt partake of desserts, not my primary interest. Oh, 2 kinds of octopi, one in the sushi section, one in the hot section. Awesome for me.

Im sorry but Namil, Aundrea, and Pkzbora are all either shills for a rival chinese buffet or idiots. This place is excellent! Ive been going there for a while and the food is always fresh, never a single fly, courteous staff I could understand, and a gigantic sushi bar with at least 30 types of sushi! From hand rolls, single pieces, specialty house rolls, and sashimi (just sliced fish) it was amazing. The fish pond in the front lobby had real live koi and the whole place feels like an upscale hotel or las Vegas buffet. I cant believe such a nice place exists in old hickory of all places. Forget the idiots reviewing this place, try it out for yourself!

This was the first time I went to this place. The place was clean and food looked good with a lot of options. The problem was with the taste. I tried few chicken en·trée and they were cold (leave hot but not warm either). I thought it might be a problem with few of those so I tried the others available on the buffet and they all seemed the same. I even felt some of the food was a left over from a previous day and was just reheated. They have a wide variety of sushi but if you are a sushi lover like me excuse this place. The sushi wasnt fresh either. This is a cheap place so if so you just want food with no expectations this will be a good option.

This used to be my favorite restaurant the first year or two after it opened. It was quality food (with a sushi bar!) As well as affordable. Koi has been in a decline the last 4-5yrs and it seems to reach a new level of worse every (rare) time I come here. Ive found bones in the sushi on several occasions. Today the cream cheese in the sushi is very spoiled but theyre still serving it after I pointed it out. This is a Saturday. A fair amount of the food seems old and low quality every time I come here. The only upside is that the price is still great. But... Sadly its still not worth the low quality of the food anymore :(

The place is very relaxing to sit in, but its all a ruse. The food is absolutely horrendous. Theres very little youll want to eat as much if it does not look appetizing. What ever you do find to eat, its quite bland and boring. No one should expect sushi at a buffet type restaurant to be good, but this was just absolutely horrible. The crab, was completely pathetic as well. The smallest legs Ive ever seen, with meat that was almost non-existant. I would highly recommend not going here. From what I can tell, it looks like they are having their staff & friends rate their place high with phoney descriptions.

Gross af, every thing was low quality, I even told them that the sushi was wasnt fresh and the waitress basically lied and said it was just put out. After I tried walking out to leave, the hostess who I assume was the owner got mad that I wasnt paying( I didnt eat that garbage) we got into an argument I basically told her to f*** off and that was that. Dont go here unless you dont care about eating junk, which most people dont anyway

I went here not realizing it was a buffet. At first the though of all you can eat sushi was not appetizing, but I tried it and loved it. There is a huge selection of sushi. They have a hibachi where you pick your food and they cook it food you. The regular buffet was great too. The wait staff was attentive. The piece wasnt too bad. The restaurant was clean but looks like it needs some updates. Ill go back there.

FILTHY. The smell of funky fish and mothballs permeate the place. All glass is dirty. The floors are sticky. The fish pond is milky and cloudy. I only stayed because we met friends there. Nasty bathrooms and I came out of stall at the same time as a server, and she wet her hands and dried them. NO SOAP was used. This day she wore her hair in a bun. I hope she normally wears it that way so Im telling on her. Gross.

Not sure how this place has almost 4 stars. Ive given Koi 3 tries, and each time has been worst than the last. Food is cold, stale, and flavorless. Very expensive price for bad food. For the love of God, do not go at a non-meal time. Nothing was edible other than the hibachi, which is obviously cooked fresh. We ended up leaving and going down the street to Super Wok. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

This place is not extremely impressive. While theyve got a variety of different foods, the quality lacks. The cleanliness is barely adequate and I think they could really step up their game by offering crab legs in the open, and all you can eat as well as having a better sushi chef with real sushi and fresher options. They do have kimchi, at least the last time I was there they did. Needs more umph.

I THOT WEN I CALLED 2 CHEK THT TH PRICE 4 TH BUFFET WAS A BIT HI. BOY, WAS I WRONG!!! THEY CULD CHARGE A COUPLE MOR $$$S & ITD STILL B A GREAT DEAL!!! MY 14 Y/O IS PICKY AS H*LL, AND HE THOT IT ROCKED AS WELL!!! THEY HAVE A COOK THTLL COOK U UP WATEVER U PICK FRM THE LIL KIOSK THEY HAV 4 THT. FLIPPIN ROCKED!!! ILL DEFINITELY B GOIN THER AGAIN & I WONT WHINE IF TH DANG RICE IS DRY
