No frills authentic Chinese restaurant that is usually full of International students (VERY good sign). Dont waste your time on the obligatory Americanized dishes. Ask for the "other menu" and prepare to be amazed. The staff are not sophisticated but they make you feel welcomed and want you to enjoy your meal. The menu is varied and bountiful with numerous authentic dishes. I want to try them all. The dumplings alone are worth the drive. NOTE: As with all authentic cuisines, beware the heat levels of some dishes, and many meat preparations include chopped bones, which is odd to the American palate but part of the authentic dish. If you have questions, just ask the staff. Have fun!

I ordered the curry chicken combination dinner. The flavor was bland. This was supposed to be a spicy dish and there was no spice. Egg role was very good. Crab rangoon was good. I appreciated them bringing sweet and sour sauce and hot mustard on request. Other dishes ordered were Chicken Pad Thai and Low Mein noodle which were average. Staff was very responsive. Wait time for food was short. Ice tea seemed like instant. Overall, no regrets going, but with other options in Bloomington, I likely will not go back.

Crab Rangoon was weird and stale. Egg rolls were so greasy I couldnt even eat them. General Tao chicken was mushy and saturated in sauce that was suppose to be hot and spicy but was surprisingly sweet. Fried rice was decent but very oily. I also order chicken chow mein....I got a pint full of mushy celery and bean sprouts in a clear broth. Called to get my correct order. They told me that was chow mein......no....no its not.

Ordered Vegetable Pad Thai. Mightve been my mistake to ask for Thai at a Chinese place, but it was beyond worse than I thought it could be. The crab rangoon we ordered were- not exaggerating- empty of filling. The service was downright rude. And theyve also raised their prices- expect to pay at least a dollar over the online menu.

If you are hungry. Why dont you try "Sunny Palace" in Bloomington, Indiana. Where you can get this "Tofu Sesame and Broccoli," or have a bowl of "Egg Drop Soup" the best in town. Its a nice place to sit and take some time to enjoy a meal. With there great prices, and good staff. You can always find something good to eat.

I ordered chicken chow mein and received a bowl of soggy lettuce and onions with some shriveled up pieces of "chicken". Every time Ive ordered chow mein its come with fried noodles, and when I explained that to the worker, she said chow mein is just fried vegetables. On top of that, it didnt even taste good!

Sunny Palace is great. My girlfriend and I pick up food from there sometimes before a Blockbuster/Big Red run, and everything weve tried so far has been amazing. Its super cheap, too, because two people can easily split an $8-10 entree. Throw in a pt. of soup and youre set!

It was very nice. I loved the way they served the food. I had order the sesame chicken on the lunch special and it had arrived on a plate. The cup of pork fried rice which was super hot. The food was best eaten in the restaurant. The service was fast and clean.

It is not the best Chinese food ever but it is certainly a good option for those looking for an Americanized dish. It is near Kroger, which makes it a good option for take out. The service tends to be prompt and corteous and the lunch portions are quite large.

Worst Chinese Ive ever had in my life. Ordered 3 different dishes, and all of them were watery and flavorless. Ended up throwing away over $40 worth of food and had to buy the whole family a new meal. Thanks for that.

Horrible Chinese food catered to people who have no idea what authentic Chinese food tastes like. Ordered 3 dishes and all three were bad. Worse than food court Chinese food, dont eat there.
