I first visited this place a little over two weeks ago by mistake! I was going to go to Portillos then saw the Just Shrimp sign and decided to go there instead. First visit i had the fried shrimp and a lobster po boy. Both were delicious!! The lady who cooked them was very nice and patiently explained the menu to me. The man who rang me up was nice and explained the sauces. I recommend the Spicy! Last Friday i went back and was nervous that the food wouldnt be as good. Boy was I wrong! I ordered the fried shrimp again and the catfish dinner. My mom enjoyed them also. The shrimp are huge and juicy and the fish was flaky inside and crispy on the outside how we like it. The nice cook was there again and recognized me! There was a younger girl ringing up customers and a blonde lady taking phone orders. Both were very nice and made small talk. I will definitely be back in a couple weeks again!! Keep up the good work and the good food guys. This is now my go-to place for my seafood fix!

I went to this place a week ago the shrimp was mouth watering good. I go back for the second visit and the shrimp was very dry nothing like what I received my first visit. When I called to speak with the Manager regarding the order I was told they never changed shrimp ,batter or the way they were cooked. I expressed that the shrimp was very dry not juicy like when I first visited. I was told sorry to hear about that have a good day. I will NEVER VISIT THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN. !!!! HOW COULD THEY EXPECT TO ESTABLISH A BRAND LOYALTY BY NOT BEING CONSISTENT IN PREPARING THEIR FOOD IN A CONSISTENT MANNER. THE FIRST VISIT THE SHRIMP WERE SUCCULENT SECOND VISIT LEFT SOMETHING TO BE DESIRED.!!!!!!!1!1

Food was great fresh and wild caught. To me that makes a huge difference in the cleanliness of the flavor. Plus, the owner was there, super hospitable. Also, the employees were well groomed, friendly, great at suggesting items and explaining everything, the place was clean, bathroom was spic and span, and the food was the tastiest Ive had from a "shrimp place" in ages. Definitely not typical and this will be the first fast food shrimp type place I will actually pay a second visit to! I had the lake perch sandwich, and my boyfriend had the jumbo shrimp. SUPER good. Lobster bisque wasnt bad either. Will be back for sure.

The shrimp are good, however if you order your shrimp in individual pieces and not by the pound count how many shrimp you ordered. I have been to this place 4 times and each time Im short one/two shrimp I paid for. Tonight I got fed up complained and the owner got offended when I just gave him the heads up that in the future they need to make sure the orders are correct. He did offer to correct the order I declined as This was a take out order and I was not coming back. My point, thats to many times to keep shorting an order. Count your shrimp. You want what you pay for.

Walked in on Saturday just after noon, and this place appears to be bright and clean. I stood in a short line, but they take orders very quickly. I didnt hesitate to order the 6 piece Jumbo Shrimp along with a bottled water. My food was prepared fresh, and it was ready in less than 5 mins. I love fries, and they give you a BIG BAG of them!! They were hot, crispy, and lightly salted. The shrimp were pretty tasty too, but they didnt knock me off my feet. This is a spot that I will be sure to keep in mind when Im in the area with a taste for seafood.

Walked in to order and one of the staff members kept coughing, snotting and covering mouth while i was looking over the menu and kept asking me what i wanted to order. You could hear the mucus in the cough. Didnt get hand sanitizer or wash hands, just wanted to take my order and fix the food. The customers eating there didnt seem to mind at all. I guess all that matters is that they have food to eat or some customers just dont care about bad hygiene.

Food was ok. It was my first time visiting from Texas and I ordered a shrimp po-boy that only had 3 shrimp on it. It wasnt explained to me or else I would have ordered something else. I did say it was my first time there. Batter on the fish could be better. Staff seems rushed without displaying a friendly atmosphere. I love to see people smile when I enter a place. I probably wont visit again.

The shrimp were beautiful, tasty & filling. I loved the fact that the shell was removed all the way to the tail. I purchased a pound of shrimp on Groupon & Im glad I did great service, nice people, short wait time & REALLY GOOD SHRIMP ..... Ill remember the tasty shrimp but Ill definitely return for the service

So went to Just Shrimp in Tinley last night. One of my co-workers said I should try it out.All I can say is excellent customer service, clean establishment, huge shrimp, and great pricing. 10 shrimp, and yes actual size below. (And I have average size hands) Cole slaw, fries for around about 13bucks

Not good shrimp. The shrimp is heavily breaded and poor quality. Calamari is heavily breaded. I wont go back. Any good shrimp lover would not go back if they received the same as I did. The shop is clean and the service is good, but for me its all about the food. I wont go back.

AMAZING! Ive been here a few times and every time I am super happy with my food. Usually I get the catfish sandwich which is amazing but today I had the fried lobster. It was super good and fresh. I will always come back here for seafood. Best seafood Ive had in Illinois

How anyone would give this place a low rating is beyond me...apparently they are impossible to please. The service is friendly and the shrimp is FANTASTIC, huge, juicy, flavorful and huge!! Great pricing and consistent quality, please open one in Country Club Hills!!

Today was my 1st time coming to this place. When I walked in, it was such a nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff did greet us at the door. Food was ready in 3-4 minutes, and very DELICIOUS! WILL I be back? I think my rating shows the answer to that!

Great delicious big shrimp. Nice convienent location. Everyone seems very nice here and someone is always cleaning up and keeping the place neat and tidy. Owner is a decent guy and dont listen to bad reviews, shrimp has never been different.

Always burn-your-mouth-hot. Prices are fair for the higher quality ingredients youre getting. Theyre always willing to accommodate your requests. Next best fried shrimp, if Im not willing to make the 40 minute drive to Calumet Fisheries.
