Weve been patronizing this little place for over a year, and have always enjoyed their laid back attitude, and 60s musical hits. The food was decent as well, with generous portions. We had never been in there during the week until yesterday, when the server couldnt seem to understand what I wanted to order, despite being told several times. He ended up charging for a toast that he said, in response to my question, was gratis with the order. When I tried to explain to the middle aged blonde woman that cashed us out that I shouldnt have to pay for the toast, she was rude, condescending, and accusatory, defending the server and accusing me of yelling at him. At no point did I yell at anyone. Frustrated yes. Yelling no. Bottom line: there are too many restaurants out there where you can get good food and great service. I dont need to be treated in such a rude and inconsiderate manner by staff and wont go there ever again. So, they got my $2.29 for toast but they wont get another penny of my money or the people Im going to tell about this. Shame on you Stownut!

I am getting at that age where I need to watch what I eat. A question I always ponder is why watch it instead of eat it. In regards to that, this food looks good and tastes good so next time you bring your vegan gluten-free lactose intolerant diabetic neighbor here they can have just as much fun as you! Its a little small, but theres a lot of spongebob stuff up front so I guess it makes it ok. You can buy day old donuts here, so you can spend $10 on donuts and get diabetes instead of just 10 donuts. Very nice staff. They have a quote of the day, and if you get it right you get a free donut. You cant use google, so use bing instead(just kidding dont cheat, this is an honest locally owned business, I 100% support them and do not condone stealing). All in all this is a very good restuarant; its family owned, good prices, good food, and a nice staff. Well done, I w̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ will eat here again.

first understand that I have a great passion for donuts. beside burgers they are my kryptonite. I think I could survive on donuts alone. stownut makes such perfect melt in your mouth donuts. I mean perfect. I cant find a better donut. cant. and ive looked (ive rarely turned down a donut). dunkin next door bring theirs in by truck and theyve gotten smaller with a ton less flavor. these guys make ones with special toppings and my kids cant get enough of them. we stop in for breakfast or lunch every once in a while and are always pleased, yes they serve real food here too made from scratch. you can tell they use quality ingredients. stop in. you wont regret it. I absolutely love this place! Its become my new favorite diner! My favorite thing to order is the sausage biscuits and gravy: definitely a must try! Also, one of the best lobster bisques Ive ever had comes from here. My favorite doughnut there is the samoa doughnut; their doughnuts are always fresh and delicious! All of the staff is extremely friendly too. Im pretty shy so its nice that they took the time to get to know me despite being rather quiet. If youre in Stow this is the place to go for breakfast or lunch!

More than just donuts, Stownut has it all. But we typically go here for breakfast. I go for the bagel club sandwich. They always have a trivia question up on the wall and if you get it right you get a free donut (with purchase). Its a friendly place to take the kids with plenty of things on the walls to keep them occupied. I would rather give this small business my hard earned money than some other chains in the area.

Have heard WNIR talk about this place for years and was in the area ( before 2pm ) for once and decided to stop for lunch. Ordered the monte cristo sandwich with onion rings. It was delicious. Also got a donut to go with intentions of eating it later .It smelled so good I finished it before I got back to Twinsburg. It was Delicious

Support local and go! One of the few breakfast joints around, get the biscuits they are the best item. Potatoes are a little heavy on the onion powder. **Disclaimer** My experience was my own and does not guarantee or imply that yours will be the same, very often your experience will be what you make of it.

This little 1950s style dinner has my heart! They serve amazing homemade donuts in the most creative flavors. I had their garden omlett with smokes Gouda cheese and homefries. And, let me tell you, you arent going to find a better breakfast in all of Stow-Kent.

Dark inside. Cold when it should have been warm and inviting. One person waiting multiple tables, checkout, and donut counter. Friendly, but impersonal. Not what I expect from a restaurant that charges at least $8 for every meal.

Went there for my birthday one morning and was not disappointed. Donuts were fresh and the staff was super friendly. Their hashbrowns were the best hashbrowns Ive ever eaten. 10/10 would eat there again.

This local icon has the vintage feel of a 50s soda shop, with the sweet treats to match. Definitely a must for those with a sweet tooth, our those they want a great local spot to relax.

There are some places that have good diner breakfasts. There are some places that have good donuts. This place has both. You really can have it all.
