So Iv heard how great your BBQ is so my wife and I went to your Joliet locations by larsons. @415 we show up and want to order and there out of ribs so he said if you wait il give you a half slab free it will be ready in an hour. Ok cool wow we will wait I said. So 530 I enter the location to place my order full slab with brisket sandwich and fries thinking Im gonna get some sides and drinks like you menu states the lady behind the counter tells me no not here in a ignorant tone. Ok whatever its ok I hear the ribs are great. So total is $37 holy cow for a slab and a sandwich seems kinda high. Ok ended up finally getting my order at 608. Im telling myself this is gonna be great food. Get home your ribs are absolutely horrible dry and fatty and were oven cooked it seems not cooked on wood brisket was as good as the microwave brisket sandwiches from Walmart and the fries were soggy and nasty. very disappointed in the service and more so in the food.. not sure if its because its a smaller location but man I am absolutely dissatisfied. Also the place is filthy with Dirty floors. And no menu available I think you guys need to pay close attention to that place because you just lost a huge BBQ fan. From now on all my business is going to the place down the road. Only thing I can compliment is that the hot BBQ sauce is good why you ask because I had to smear it all over the sandwich so its edible. Shouldnt have to do that to a brisket.

BBQ is good but doesnt come close to anything Ive had down south. Seating area is too small and atmosphere leaves something to be desired. Staff consists primarily of 18-21 year old smartasses who provide terrible service. The fat Asian kid and his coworker running the register thought it would be funny to play the repeater game (see: Super Troopers) and ask me everything twice when I placed my order--and it wasnt. Wont be back, wont be recommending the place to anyone. Its a shame that this is the best this area can provide for BBQ.

Have been coming here for years.this used to be a good place when Ken was there taking pride in the food that he was preparing.now the juicy pulled pork is a minced dry pork that you have to bury in sauce to eat.its was also like a sauna inside the place.the pulled pork sandwich in the pictures is not what it looks like now.you also cant get any side of meat without buying a meal or a pound of meat.after over ten years of coming here Im throwing in the wet nap..wont be back anymore.

A great BBQ place right in Plainfield! While its not the best BBQ Ive ever tried, but it will stop a craving dead in its tracks. The pulled pork was tender but did not have much smokey flavor. The sauces are flavorful and helped to add flavor to the pork. The sides are awesome; Mac n Cheese and beans were cooked very well. For the portion sizes I was surprised the price was as high as it was. Overall I would rate this place as a mid-tier BBQ joint for the Chicagoland area.

BBQ is excellent, employees were friendly and courteous. Seating area is very tiny. I had a pulled pork sandwich and the meat was perfect. Bun was "classic white" which I generally dont eat. My sides -- corn and green beans -- were average at best. The corn was somewhat mushy, the green beans tasted like canned beans with some spices added. My colleague had their mac & cheese and thought it was great. I highly praise their meat; their sides could use improvement.

Recommended to me as the place place for brisket and pulled pork in the Naperville/Plainfield area, and I have to agree! It was $25 for the family pack, half brisket and half pulled pork, came with the buns for sandwiches and the sides were good, especially the mashed potatoes. Staff was very friendly and patient (two guys around 20 years old) and its impressive the bank of six foot smokers lined up behind the counter. Highly recommended!

A good no nonsense place to hit up your BBQ fix. I had the ribs and my companion had the brisket sandwich which looked awesome. The ribs, sauce and sides were all tasty. Had the mac and cheese with green beans. Environment is very fast food oriented and short order style but the staff was patient and friendly. Rib style was fall of the bone and soft. Not my preferred method of prep but who cant enjoy ribs of any style.

After reading what are now clearly fake reviews I could hardly wait to try this place out. Much to my dismay I must report the pulled pork may have been the single most disapointing thing Ive had in a long time until I dug into the mashed potatoes and found a nice curly black hair waiting for me. The meat doesnt dates smoked at all. But at least the Cole slaw was bomb!

Since we started making it a habit of hitting barbeque places, this quickly became a place we had to hit. My only regret is that we didnt come here sooner. Literally, every single item we ordered was incredible. There wasnt one dish that didnt leave us blown away with how good it was. Well be going here for barbeque from now on when were in the area.

Good, consistent BBQ. The sauce gets 9 stars out of 5, the meat 4/5. We actually buy the sauce when I smoke my own meat at home. I personally cant get enough of the tips. The brisket is always done just right. The pork is great except you dont get the same kind of bark you do as at home. If you have the chance, do not skip trying this place.

Good alternative when Im too lazy to drive to one of the better BBQ places. Meat is delicious and great but the sides are lacking. Huge servings but Id rather have quality than quantity. Mac and cheese tasted instant and the coleslaw was just too watery. Ignore the mild BBQ sauce and go straight for the HOT BBQ sauce.

Its hard to even talk about the food because the place is so disgusting and dirty. Bugs and flies everywhere. All surfaces sticky. It does not look like anyone takes pride in that place. Who cares if the food tastes ok or if its the only bbq joint around... Health department would have a hay day in there.

As soon as you walk in the door, the mouthwatering aromas and the good old fashioned blues music wash over you. I have tried almost everything on the menu, and not only is all the food excellent, but the staff is friendly and knowledgable. Truly the diamond in the rough of the Plainfield/Joliet area!

When God is making a pit-stop off I-55 near Joliet, this is where The Almighty comes for BBQ! Great googily-moogily, this place is the real deal. Slow-cooked, fall-off-the-bone, melt-in-your-mouth BBQ goodness is found here. And their sides compliment the entrees just perfectly.
