I love BBQ and always look for new places to try. I have heard excellent things about Q. I was satisfied, but it did not live up to expectation. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and cold slaw. The meals come with hush puppies as well, which were delicious. The slaw was good, and the pork was excellent. I took issue with the 3 sauce choices, which in my opinion is what differentiates BBQ places. The Texas spicy was too spicy, and I am love spicy sauces I keep a collection of 10+ hot sauces at all times. The Carolina vinegar base was ok at best. Sweet was like eating molasses and honey mixed. In order to get the best sauce, you need to mix any combination of the 3 in the side cups they provide. Mixing sweet and spicy cut the spice down a notch and made a pleasant flavor with heat on the back end. Good service and fun atmosphere make this place a good option if you are craving BBQ around the DT Nap area. Docked a star due to sauces.

My hubby and I stopped at White Chocolate Grill after a hot/humid day when we got back home from the Bristol Renaissance Festival. We were in need of a cool beverage and good food. It was our first visit ever, and this restaurant always seems to have good attendance. My first impression was that it felt dark, but after spending a few hours in the hot sun, it was refreshing. The staff is extremely attentive, but not pushy. I was surprised by the level of service as being on par with a 5 star establishment. All I wanted was something cool. I ordered a glass of ice water, a glass of Chardonnay, and grilled chicken salad. I was intrigued by their Tomato Soup with Gin, of all things, and I HATE tomato soup as a rule. My sweet Hubby agreed to split a bowl of it as an appetizer, so I wouldnt have to eat all of it. It was AMAZING!

Ordered the Texas Sliced Brisket and Burnt Ends and was not in anyway impressed. When the food showed up the brisket was covered in sauce which was the first indicator that I would not receive the traditional Texas style brisket to which I am accustomed.sliced brisket. The meat was dry, over cooked, and lacked in smoke and or any other flavor (hence the need for the sauce burial which was provided). The burnt ends were more like a BBQ pot roast stew - not the crunchy BBQ candy that I expected. All in all not impressed at all for the over priced amateur BBQ served.

My daughter and I decided to stop in and try this place while we were shopping downtown Naperville. We loved it! We had a pulled pork sandwich that came with a side, my daughter had the cornbread and I had the mashed potatoes and gravy, and two hush puppies. We enjoyed everything even our sweet ice tea. We had no complaints and will differently go back again. The restaurant does have a large selection of drinks including beer. They have a large sink you can wash your hands at if you are messy. Overall, we would recommend this place if you enjoy BBQ.

I ordered salad with chopped brisket and brisket was dry. Salad is nothing to be impressed about. My sister ordered pulled chicken sandwich and liked it. For my son I gorgeous chicken tenders and fries and tenders were dried out. Fries is a bit saggy but if you consume it super fast it should be ok. All 3 sauces are good but all have too much sweetness, hope to have at least one thats not. Ketchup for sure has extra sweetness to it as well so if you like your food sweet by all means its the sauce for you. I will be posting pics.

I dont review restaurants often, but this place is amazing. The environment was fun and casual (the service is order at the counter and they bring the food to your table). However, the main event is the food. Ive never eaten anything less than amazing there. They have a great selection of sauces based on your taste in BBQ. Their brunch on Saturdays and Sundays is SO GOOD. The burnt ends skillet, the chicken and waffles and the biscuits and gravy all have my seal of approval.

One of the better bbq places Ive been to. The service is great and the food is tasty. Love the sauce on the table so you can pick and choose during your meal. The location is great as after or before your meal you can walk around and do some shopping and parking wasnt bad either. Its good a decent atmosphere, bit on the loud side but not overwhelming. And its good for a small group of friends who would like to meet up for a no fuss brunch or dinner.

We stopped by for brunch and Dad t was delicious. We ordered the cornbread French toast and burnt ends hash. The cornbread French toast seemed so simple but so delicious. We will definitely order it again, but we will probably use it as a shareable plate. The burnt end hash was delicious with just enough burnt ends and some crispy brussel sprouts. The coffee was a little meh, but we went and will keep going back for the food and not the coffee.

Q-BBQ is quite possibly the best place to eat in downtown Naperville. They have a great selection of meat, such as burnt ends, sliced brisket, pulled pork, and baby back ribs. The meat is delicious even without any sauce, but just in case they have really tasty sauces that you can use to play around with for your ideal flavor. In expectation of the mess you may make while eating, they have a roll of towels at each table, just in case.

Not up to zagat rating standard. Overpriced. Poor food preparing quality. Food not fresh, overcooked and double cooked. Manager lacked customer service experience, did not seem concerned when complaint was given, tried to justify why the food quality was poor and was closed minded in the suggestions that were given. They did nothing to compensate for the terrible eating expierience. A fast food place has better standards.

We used to like this place but for some reason the food on our last few visits hasnt been great. The meats (brisket and pulled pork) didnt seem particularly special or tender particularly the pulled pork was fairly bland. This place just doesnt seem very authentic and the meats dont seem to have much of smoked flavor. Id recommend trying a place like Shakos or South Moon BBQ if you are looking for better BBQ in the area.

Still one of my favorite BBQ joints of all time. The sauces are excellent, the brisket is excellent and the atmosphere is great. Since moving out of Illinois I miss visiting this place. The chipotle aioli sauce that came withe brisket was so flavorful I wished I could just buy that to take home. The selection of BBQ meats is great and they never run out like some other places. Eat here and you wont regret it!

Best. BBQ. EVA! (next to my neighbors ribs) OK, so my neighbor makes the best ribs on the planet and Id challenge Papa Q to a taste off. If youve never been here, opt for the Papa Q Platter. Its got everything. And its all amazing. The Burnt Ends, Smoked Turkey, and sliced brisket stand out. I dont normally like sweet BBQ sauce, but theres is the best! Great food, cool people and I cant wait to order again.
