The worst place I have ever visited. I took my nieces, my sister and my mom their for my nieces graduation. I usually go to the one in other cities and they are good. This one in Oak Lawn, IL was the worst restaurant I have ever experienced. first of all they were not crowded, There were about 4 tables. the food took forever to be served. The table next to us were asking us how long weve been waiting because theyve gotten there before us and they were not served yet. The manager was arguing with our table that it only took 2 minutes longer than it usually takes to bring the food. The kicker is When the food got to the table the steak fries were cold both buffalo chicken sandwiches tasted disgusting and funky and cold. My niece ordered the pasta which came cold. The grilled talapia fish was cold. We did not eat any of our food it was so disgusting. The manager tried to blame the poor waiter. We told the manager it was not the waiter fault and he and the cook are the one to blame not the waiter. My mom got sick when we got home. I will call the headquarters tomorrow and let them know that I am filing a formal complaint with the better business association against that restaurant. Oh and by the way the manager was arguing with us about the fish. The manager than said well Ill take off $15 off your bill I said I dont care what you do just get me our bill so we can get the hell out of this place. We paid $77.02 for food we barely touched because it was uneatable. My family and I will never eat at that location ever again. I highly discourage anyone from eating there. They should have a sign that says eat at your own risk.

Visited on the evening of 5/15/2017 and will not return. The food itself was decent overall (my pulled pork sandwich was very good), but the service was terrible. The server (Tony) did not introduce himself at all. Once he delivered our food, he did not stop by our table again until it was time to pay. That means no one in my party was offered a refill or anything. Even when I had to finally ask for refills, we still didnt get them. He walked by our table several times, never said a word until he dropped off the check. The funny thing is that when we declined dessert, he said, "Its just something that I have to ask." Um, yeah, but so are refills, bud. On top of that, he tried to charge us for four adult sized beverages when two of my party were kids and drank from smaller cups. Didnt even say "Have a good night" as he watched us leave. Had to read our ticket to even figure out his name was Tony. Unacceptable service. Im a former server, so I never stiff anyone. But I guarantee he wasnt happy with his tip. But it was deserved. I cant tip for service I never got.

My family and I frequent the Texas Corral but todays experience left us completely disgusted! While my family was sitting down enjoying our meal, another family was finishing up their meal next to us! While the family was finishing up, the children decided to run around the restaurant and literally started playing in the barrel of peanuts, digging their USED straws into it, sticking their dirty hands into them, as well as putting the peanuts in their mouth and spitting them back into the barrel! I informed our waitress who informed the manager! This lady (the manager) is PATHETIC! She says "thank you for telling me, its only a little peanuts in there and they get thrown out at the end of the night" and walks off saying nothing to the kids as they continue to play in the barrel of peanuts..... 1st the barrel was completely full! 2nd its 3pm so youre going to continue to serve people these nasty peanuts! Disgusting...the first thing they do is bring you a bucket of peanuts to your table from those barrels! Simply disgusting! Will never eat there again!

Absolutely the worse experience. First time here and definitely the last. The waitress was all over the place especially for only having 3 tables max. We asked for a plain salad and when we got it it was fully loaded with everything. After explaining one of us could not eat it due to an allergy, she came back with it. Clearly she went back and hand picked the stuff off and returned with the contaminated lettuce since there were pieces still left in it. Does she realize that doing something like that could seriously hurt someone? After all of that, our steaks came out. Fully loaded mash? Mash with gravy? Try plain mash...then to top it all off, we pay half cash half card. Check our account afterwards and look at that, she charged it all on the card despite the receipt showing the correct slip of the bill. Where did the cash we gave go? Never coming back, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

At the beginning, we got fresh bagels with butter, baked on the spot and I have to admit that this was quite pleasantly especially with were warm, smelled and tasted great. I like interior, texas style with red accent lights. As a drink I had Frozen Mudslide $7, which was served in glass shaped like boot. Drink was melted ice creams with Kahlua, vodka and chocolate syrup. Pretty good. For dinner, I had Texas Salad with Grilled Chicken $9,99 with caesar dressing. I must say I’m not a big fan of grilled chickens but this was was pretty delicious. Little too long time waiting each time for server but was acceptable. A big plus was outlet by every table with usb to charge phones.

Was in a party of 6. Our server got every single one of our orders wrong. Took 45 minutes to bring out soups and salads. Took 45 minutes to bring out entrées. Server forgot 3 sides and when reminded, brought back 1. When reminded server brought back wrong sides. Food was dried out and under cooked. When came time to pay... server took 25 minutes to bring check once we asked for it. We asked server for change for $5 bill and server came and left the table 3 times until she finally kept it and left! The most awful experience I ever had at a restaurant! That was my first and undoubtedly my last time going to Texas Corral.

I had the roasted poblano burger with the grilled vegetable skewer for my side. It was delicious. My husband had the pot roast sandwich and was disappointed because it was quite bland. It was overpowered by the pretzel bun. The diet Pepsi had a strange "off" flavor. Perhaps the machine needs to be cleaned. Our server was pleasant, but lingered too long chit chatting at each of her tables, resulting in slower than usual service. Now that the prices have increased dramatically, I dont feel this establishment has the same allure as its nearest competitors in the same price range.

Waited 40 min for my Cobb salad to be served to me on a dirty plate. Called the manager over, showed her it was dirty all the way around the rim. She apologized, offered to bring me a new salad, but I lost my apatite. I also asked her, if she was brought her dinner on a dirty plate would she still want to eat here, and her response was "sometimes the dishes come out dirty here " WOW. Wtf. That is never okay. Food safety is no joke. This place should be shut down. Never going back. Ever.
