I reserve my 5 star Thai rating to go to Thai Express in Clifton, but for what I was looking for in a work place lunch, this place was great. The service was very friendly and prompt. The prices were more than reasonable for a sit down Thai lunch place right downtown. I was with a group of co-workers, and 3 of us split 3 meals - Pork Pad Thai, Schezuan Pork and Massaman Curry. All three were good. Id say the Massaman was the best! I asked around the table what everyone would have ranked the restaurant, and the majority was 4 stars, one 3 star. For what you are expecting, a cheap, tasty and fast Thai lunch place, I was more than satisfied. I would definitely return, and I add it to my list of downtown eats Id go to at work to provide a little spice in my life!

This place is small on Court Street and I didnt notice it until my work friends took me there. The food is good. Heat scale is 1-5 then "5 plus" then "Extreme" I had a 5 plus holy basil fried rice and it was really good. We had 2 people get extreme and they did eat it but it wasnt easy and they really enjoy spicy food so take the heat levels seriously past 5. I may try extreme next time... not sure... can make for a rough half a work day ;-p. Would have 5 starred it but took a bit too long to have the food arrive. My friends who have been there a few times seemed shocked at the delay so only subtracted 1 star.... may have to give it back if I go a bit and service is fast.

If this was once a gem of downtown, it is no longer. We got the chicken yellow curry @ heat 3 and the chicken pad thai at heat 2. First, the pad thai was spicier than the curry. Second, you can tell they use low quality cheap ingredients in the food. The curry was more chicken broth than it was coconut milk and it had 4 tiny slivers of low grade chicken in it. For $7.50, you could at least fill up the dang container it comes in. Portions on the curry were pathetic. The pad thai had good flavor, but again you can tell they use cheap noodles and not a lot of chicken. There are definitely better places to get thai around here. I doubt well go back to Bangkok Express.

The Pad Thai is good but benefits from a dash of soy sauce and hot peppers. The Pad Kee Mao is flavorful with a generous portion of tofu and vegetables, but my preference is for more noodles, so Ill check out the Pad See Ew next time. Small, low-key dining area, best suited for up to four per table. Impression is the chef caters to business lunch crowd, so if youre used to spicier Thai food dont be afraid to dial up the heat when ordering. Friendly, attentive service.

The BEST Cheap lunch and BEST Thai in the tri-state also great parking on Court St in the Historic Court St Market District. I can get a haircut at Kings Court Master Barber & Shoe Shine Service, buy my Meat at Avril Blehs Meat both Best of Cincinnati Stores. All on my lunch hour if I call ahead for my orders and an appointment for my cut with Russ. I cant wait to take the trolley as it will save me ( 6 blocks ) time at lunch walking both ways if I buy the transfer.

I get the chicken pad thai from Bangkok for lunch regularly. Theyre quick, quality is good, portion size is generous and price is good. If they were open during dinner hours, Id go here then too, but since theyre not, considering checking out Huit down the street if Bangkok has closed for the day or on the weekends.

Food is not good. Service is poor and they mess up my order every time I ordered. I gave them two chances and has blown the third! I will never eat here again! The manager really didnt care that they messed up my order twice and did not care about keeping a customer. So for that I give them one star

Great off the Main Street quick lunch place. Music was tasteful and volume at conversation-capable level. Portion was definitely adequate at good prices. Hot level 2 (of 5) barely left an after tingle, go higher if you like some spice! Friendly staff. Great place!

Ive been looking for a good thai place to grab lunch downtown...this place had great service and low prices. I was very happy to discover this restaurant...green curry dish with chicken was 7.50

Pretty good food, but service can be iffy. For lunch, get there before 11:45 or it will take a while to get your food. Fried rice, pad Thai, Szechuan all are good.

Food is great! Always fresh and tasty. Service can be lacking at times, especially at peak lunch rush. It is cheap though, you have to willing to compromise.

Air-condition was broken in 90 degree weather and they only had one server during lunch (high noon).
