Worst meal I ever had at Outback !!! To start off the Blooming Onion was over cooked greasy mess! Next the lettuce in the salad was limp and not fresh! The sweet potato was over cooked and dry !! And last but not least I ordered a New York Strip and the steak they brought out a some kind of meat but it was not a New York Strip I think it was poor quality sirloin they were trying to pass off as a strip steak ! I sent it back and politely told the waitress this steak looks bad and tastes worse! She said no problem we will get you another! While waiting for the new steak the manager came over and said sorry I took a look at the steak and it was poor quality and should never have been served!!!!?? After 20 minutest he new one a little better but still not a strip steak but a very poor quality I dont know what kind it was!! By this time I just wanted to leave we got the check they didnt give us any compensation for 91 dollars the worst meal I ever had and my friend who had the same New York Strip and does not like to complain said his was terrible too !!! They are serving steaks the manager even said should never have been served and he also said he has to keep a better eye on his cooks so they dont serve customers poor quality!! I have been to Outback many times never a complaint but I dont think Ill ever go back!!!

Terrible......We were in town from Phoenix and went there for lunch with some family members. I ordered a rib eye steak MEDIUM RARE. My wife ordered the 6oz. sirloin. also MEDIUM RARE. My rib eye was served WELL DONE. The inside was white/gray color and it looked more like a Pork Chop than a steak. It was extremely tough. My wifes sirloin was also well done instead of medium rare. We were with other family members and did not have time to send the steaks back and wait again. We were so disappointed as we have eaten in Outbacks in the Phoenix area and we do not remember ever having any issues. My guess is that it was Labor Day and there cook had the day off and the janitor was filling in for him.

Had dinner here last weekend. This location is a little hard to find, the entrance is in the back from the parking lot, we normally go to another location. At first not sure if it was open, the side windows are frosted over so from Higgins it looks like it is closed. We walked in & it wasnt really busy. We ordered 2 of the specials & our waiter was very patient with us, but, the service was really slow. Our food was great, prime rib (secondary) & ahi tuna. Looks like this location would be good to go to because it is less crowded, but be prepared to wait as service was slow & we had to ask several times for water refills. #CityExperts @GoogleLocalCHI

The staff here was SOOOO nice! I ordered the Peppered Ahi Tuna and unfortunately they only had a little tuna left, which was less the portion called for. They brought out what they had with the chef apologizing, comp-ing the dish and giving me a gift card (which was unnecessary because the amount that did come on the plate was more than enough). They really went ABOVE AND BEYOND to compensate. I was satisfied with the chefs explanation and offer of another dish. REALLY AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE & THE PEPPERED AHI WAS FANTASTIC!

they not organised at all!when my boyfriend made reservation they told him we may wait 10 min but when we arrived host told us we have to wait 40 min... same as walk in people... so we ended without dinner on my birthday because we bought tickets to cinema also so we couldnt wait almoust hour for table... why during making reservation they telling 10 and when you get there its 50 mins... they making too many reservations... but even when you have reeervation you have to wait same as walk in people... no worth it

Well my family n I wanted to take my mother out for her birthday. So I called ahead for a table. We couldnt exactly sit together at a table but I didnt mind about that. Long as my mom got to have dinner. So instead the manager offered us two booths sitting across from each other. That was fine with me! Then came to the table n gave us two appetizers on the house! So I wanna say thanks to the manage John and waiter Josh for an amazing experience! Thanks again guys! Really appreciate it :)

After the Terrible Lombard experience, I had to twist my wifes arm to go with me to outback again. Well I finally got her to go again to Outback with me. Well I can say that after this visit, she said. We have to come here again. the service was out of this world, the appetizers where great, especially the crab filled mushrooms and last and not least, a sirloin steak with lobster for $16 was unbelievable... thank you for a GREAT night.

Food was cold when we got it. Our sever mixed up our table with another table. Checks had to be redone. For $175 meal I think better service is required. Despite cool food and ehh service still tipped her $30. Oh and the 4 attendants at the front couldnt even say good bye or thanks for coming. Understood if they were busy but nooooo one was around. It was better years ago.

Gotta tell ya - I was disappointed. Sat at the bar, Sunday night - place clearly mismanaged, in 30 minutes, had "servers" ask me 5 times if I ordered whatever they were carrying. Cant believe they havent numbered the bar stools. It was annoying. Asked for bread with dinner twice, then got it. Asked for ice water twice, then got it. Food, however, wasnt bad.

Its great for what it is... a casual dining steakhouse with good steaks for the price. They also have some great appetizers and I LOVE the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under to finish off my meal. I highly recommend asking for Rich if hes, he is easily one of the best servers Ive come across at any restaurant who genuinely wants you to enjoy your meal.

Just a nice place to eat at. They have a good selection of food, so you have choices. There usually isnt a wait. The staff are pleasant. And the food tastes good and usually comes out pretty quickly. Not usually my first choice of places to go since they are a bit far from me, but they havent let me down when I am in the mood for something tasty.

Very horrible service. I have been to outback on numerous occasions and we literally had to wait an hour for appetizers and a hour and a half for food. It would be understandable if the restaurant was crowded but it wasnt, the place was empty and now I know why. I will never come back Horrible service. Sincerely, Disappointed customer

Ive been going to Outback at Skokie for 5 years without any issue but here in Higgins the waitress was very slow and it seems that she was not happy with her job. The food came very late and she forgot some of my order. Maybe its just the waitress but I dont deserve that kind of service.
