We were at the convention center for the weekend and were looking for somewhere within walking distance for dinner. We decided to give it a try despite not so great reviews because we were hungry. After finally getting seated someone filled our water cups quickly but it took several minutes for our server, who never gave us her name, came and got our drink orders. Since we had never been here before we needed a little bit to check the menu out. She finally brought our drinks out and we ordered an appetizer of spinach dip, my boyfriend got the signature burger and i got the cheese ravioli. About 10-15 minutes later we finally got the appetizer and i had to flag our server down to get a drink refill. About 15 -20 minutes after that we finally got our entrees. And i again had to flag down our server for refills. She did not check to see if we were ok or needed anything until we were almost done eating. After waiting probably another 10-15 minutes for our server to come back, i decided to get the manager. I found him standing at the area where the food comes out looking at tickets. I told him about the constant having to flag down our server for anything and that we wanted our bill and a box so that we could leave and told him that we would not be coming back. He then came over to our table and asked if he could get us a dessert or another drink. I told him no, like i said before we want a box and our bill so we can leave! He took my boyfriends plate and brought his food back in a box and another server brought us our bill. He did not say sorry for the inconvenience or anything apologetic for our bad service. The food was ok, the ravioli was kind of dry and the spinach dip was nothing to write home about and the burger was alright. The portions are huge but that was absolutely the worst dining experience we have ever had and will never go back.

Bad food and bad service. I wouldnt recognize my waiter in a line up if he (she??) were the only one there. I had to go into the kitchen to ask for butter. Which I used on a roll that was so stale that I could have used it to pound nails into a two by four. The spinach salad was so drenched in dressing that it could have been listed as spinach soup. Update: Last night I gave this place one star & swore Id never go back. But Im trapped in this hotel for a conference and was too lazy to walk around & find another restaurant, so I ate here again - & it was much better. Really good service this go round, so perhaps last night was an anomaly. Rolls tonight were still stale & hard; order salad dressing on the side and the salad becomes edible. Id give it a 4 tonight... So averaging with the 1 last night, its a 3.

Despite iffy reviews we decided to try this place since it was convenient. Oh boy we werent disappointed! It was amazingly good! So good that we went back a second time! The first time was later around 9pm so we werent surprised at being seated right away, but the second time was during dinner rush and we only waited maybe ten minutes. The calamari was unbelievably good, it was what made us go back. The service was prompt and attentive too. The Cubano sandwich was delicious, as was the pizza (the crust was so nice!) And the onion dip with the fresh house chips was probably the best onion dip I have ever had! On both visits we had enough left to make a good midnight snack/breakfast. The only thing we didnt find outstanding was the spinach/artichoke dip but even then I wouldnt call it bad.

We ordered the CFO pizza and it was great. Ordered with extra sauce, however; they forgot but pizza was still awesome. They provided me with extra sauce, however; they actually gave us salsa not marinara sauce to put with pizza later in the hotel room. We ordered cheesecake to go and they actually have is two for our issues. They really stepped up with the customer service!! But really needed to pay attention to which sauce you provide to customer!!!

Food is edible other than that this has to be the worst restaurant I have ever eaten in. The Hostess took over 15 min to even notice that we were standing at the counter. Now this wasnt friday night when they were packed this was 8pm on Sunday night. If you are staying at the Crowne Plaza I would suggest to walk the block to the Double tree and eat there. (see review for Crowne Plaza also)

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We sat for half an hour before anyone even came to greet us most of the food was wrong. We never got refills and the manager was a jerk, he was not even a little apologetic about the service. He also lied to us about things that we could see were not true. I would like to give this place 0 stars

Was here in July 2015 for Anime Midwest! All I have to say is the food was excellent, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was really nice with me and my date for dinner! Didnt have any problems with the waiter taking too long or anything like that smooth sailing and awesome food thats all I have to say! And price reasonable!

The buffet in the morning is fine, you can pick different option of fruits (not as fresh as in other south american contries like in the rest of USA) the attention is excelent, at the evening you can enjoin a la cart food with good taste food, i taste some of the hamburguer. The coffe is not good, Startgarbage coffe

The food was excellent. My husband and I are in town from NE and found this through Google maps. The Club sandwich was the largest weve ever seen. The pizza waa delicious. The fresh chips appetizer was also excellent. Be aware that parking cost is outrageous! We had to pay $20 for parking just to eat dinner!

If I had to register a complaint, Id say they should probably put an 11 inch pizza on their menu as I went by myself and the 8 inch wasnt enough to fill me. Pizza was pretty good and the cheesecake was really good. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Food was good. Service was terrible. Waited half hour to be seated when I was there by myself and there were plenty of open tables. Waiter took forever to come take my order. Then never checked back or refilled drinks. Even had to wait 15 min for the check.

This in the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We actually liked this restaurant better than the one we traveled a long way to try out. Very good pasta dishes and we try spinach artichoke dip everywhere we go and this is the best.

Excellent pizza, amazing hamburger sliders, organic seasonal salad! This is a classy joint..I love the food. The service can use a bit more training, but they are trying their best. Will be back.

I ate here when I got stuck at OHare airport for the night. I had a burger and fries, but was impressed with the service. I would go back if I was in the area again.
