This was quite possibly the greatest restaurant experience Ive ever had. This place was recommended to me by local friends when I requested a restaurant that wasnt "mainstream" or "chain food" but more of a best kept secret. I typed all of their recommendations into a notes app on my phone. I am from Louisiana- where the food is FANTASTIC. My standards are high, and I just relocated to Nashville in June. Granted, Thai cuisine isnt comparable to Cajun or seafood, but I am spoiled nonetheless. I would recommend ordering the green curry. You sit on comfy cushions in a comfortable atmosphere. The staff was EXCELLENT. A lady read our palms for fun. She was actually right on point with her "readings" of our personalities. We laughed so hard and had so much fun. We tipped more than our meals total (2 dinners, 2 desserts, 2 coffees, a Thai tea, and appetizer was all very reasonably priced). I wish I could recreate the experience. Just go here with a good attitude. Oh! I cant drink milk, but they were kind enough to make me a Thai tea with coconut milk as a special request. Y...U...M. Just paying it forward as I hope more visitors have as much fun as we did. Cheers-

I went to Siam Cafe for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with a large group. I think the staff was a little thrown off by our group because it took a very long time just to get settled in and finally get our drink order taken and then a while longer before the meal order. But I have heard really great things about their service, so I imagine it was just because of the size of our group. But the staff was very kind and welcoming. The food was all excellent! I ordered the Pad Thai and it was the best I have tried. I also tried the Massamun curry and the Panang Curry--they were both excellent. The spring rolls were very good and a good size, my husband and I did order the crab rolls (appetizer) and I wouldnt get those again, they werent very good and quite a bit different than I expected. The iced thai tea was great and the mango and coconut ice creams were lovely. I would definitely recommend this place to any one and will definitely be going back there! Dont judge this place by its location or what it looks like on the outside. It has fabulous food. Yum!

Went here with a friend for dinner and soon wished we hadnt. The duck curry I received was riddled with small, toothpick-sized broken bones that must have been cleaved before serving and rendered the entire dish inedible. The waitress only said that they were sorry, but didnt offer any resolution. In the pictures you see normal chair and table setups, but the area we were seated is in the back left of the restaurant and is what Id call benches with a communal back rest. If you leaned back at all, youre leaning against the person sitting behind you. Still confused with that one. On another note, the restroom I used before leaving was absolutely filthy and afforded a good view of the kitchen which also was dimly-lit and grungy. Probably a good thing I didnt eat more than a bite of my food. I guess at least our Thai teas were pretty great.

I was travelling through nashville tn and wanted to get a good thai meal. Saw good reviews on google for this restaurant and decided id give it a shot. Lets say I was not at all dissapointed. As other readers have pointed the outside appearance of the building leaves much to be desired but once you step through the front door you are in for a treat. The atmosphere is homely and the staff nice and attentive. I had the feeling of eating at a friends or familys home which I found surprising. The menu is well priced and has good proportions and when it comes to taste will make your tastebuds sing "kumbaya". Needless to say I was extremely impressed and would recommend this to anyone passing thru the city. In fact Ill be returning to this restaurant whenever I pass through Nashville.

This is one of the most unpleasant thai restaurant I ever been. I was petrified from this and have gotten sick for the rest of the day. I came with my husband to eat lunch, and obtained noodles from the food stand. Unknowingly, I heard a loud CRUNCH when I was chewing on it, and revealed that it was a cockroach. I alarmed the manager about this and she was apologetic. Then she offered me a second plate of noodles, and this time, I discovered a tangled piece of hair in it. The lady apologize again and offered to give our money back, however, I was nice enough to let them keep it. As a result, I and my husband left and never coming back again.

We have been going here for 20 years and have NEVER had a bad experience. Staff is friendly, food is REAL Thai, not that stuff other Thai restaurants call Thai. They have spoiled me when it comes to eating at other Thai places because no others compare to this one. I will drive the extra miles just to eat their Tom Kah Gai soup in the authentic serving dishes. Simply a slice of heaven in a bowl. Their curry dishes are outstanding. Their whole fish is yummy. Best dumplings anywhere. Forget the rest in the area if you are wanting authentic and delicious Thai food. And if you are expecting fancy, this place is laid back and casual.

Nearly perfect food, parking and dining experience leave a bit for improvement. Now, I should point out at that location Im not sure what they can do for parking other than make a deal with the neighbors, but the interior has on occasion been so hot as to make the food unpalatable. Perhaps thats just my weak air conditioned selfs problem, but Ive taken to just getting take out and that makes me a much happier individual. Overall the staff have always been nice, on top of things, and forgiving of my first attempts at learning what was possible to eat as a vegetarian.

The food here is insane but that is it why I decided to leave a 5 star review. I made a mistake on a take out order because I used a 3rd part app to place my order. I did not realize I made this mistake until I made it to the main location closest to my house. Not only did they take care of me to the fullest extent, they also were so kind to not make me drive all the way over to the other location. You always hope the food is amazing, but they just made a lifetime customer due to their service. Thanks guys!!
