If I could give this location 0 stars I would. I was here with my family and ordered a family meal deal. While I was waiting I was watching the workers in the kitchen, as I am always curious as to what they are doing or how they are working. I kind of wish I got distracted and not watched. A lady was cleaning the food prep counter and dropped the cleaning towel/rag on the floor. She then continued wiping things down such as utensils and other areas food touches. She stops and goes away and tends to the deep fryer. Another lady comes over (well dressed) and continues cleaning with the same towel. She spots something on the floor, throws the towel down and attempts to clean with her foot on the towel. Picks it up sprays more cleaner and then continues to wipe down the microwave and other areas. After being horrified about seeing that and having my family stop eating. I go up to the counter to ask for butter as there is a sign with the district managers name and phone number. I step outside and call the number, a lady answers. I asked if she has been to the Gurnee location recently, and she responds with I am here right now. I then realized that the well dressed lady was the district manager. I get off the phone and go back inside, ask my wife if she saw the well dressed lady answer a phone a few seconds ago and she said yes. At that point we took all our food and threw it all away and left. We have not been back since, and this occurred around September of 2016.

When I walked in, I saw a sign that said Dont lean on the counter, it will fall. Kind of strange, but that wasnt the problem. He said he was the owner when I asked. What a stone face, not at all pleasant or helpful. I stood there and he didnt say anything. I waited to see if he was ready and he just said, do you want to order something? My bill was $4.11. I put the change in his hand and held out the five. He didnt take it. I guess he wanted me to put it in his hand. Finally he took it and came back with a one, which he didnt offer to me, just held it away so I would have to reach for it. I told him if he was the owner, he was pretty rude and then he said no, I was rude. I went to sit down and most of the tables had crumbs on them. Certainly not a very good business man. Cold and unfriendly and the chicken wasnt that great either. I would never go back. KFC needs to Undercover Boss him.

I just sat in line for 25 minutes and no one was talking on the speaker I finally get to order and when I get up there to the window they say theyre out of thighs and legs. So I just wasted a half an hour just not to be able to get hardly any chicken and then when I tell them nevermind forget it the lady at the Drive Thru decides to get smart with me. Came on Google to give a review, and I see they have a 2.8 rating. This KFC sucks Im going to be calling corporate and I dont recommend this place at all especially if youre in a hurry. And I wanted to give 0 stars but it made me pick at least one.

well let me start by saying that it was our first time at this location we spent a total of 35 dollars expecting to get some good hot food chicken was hard and cold the biscuits seem like it was done at 12 noon I told the manager on duty he went and replace the chicken for some colder chicken then he realize that I was upset and offered to cook some fresh chicken but I decided not to wait with the attitude he had first and last time I will visit this place I do not recommend anyone to eat at this joint I will fight and keep giving a bad review on till I get my money back 00000:-(

Just left this locations drive thru at 9:10PM on Saturday July 10th 2017. (Website states they are open until 11PM) I asked to order a 12 piece crispy meal. They advised me that they only had a few crispy wings left. I asked if they could make some more and that I would wait. The girl sighed out loud into her mic. Then there was 15 seconds of silence. Then she stated "You realize it is going to take 30 minutes for that?" I drove away. Why say you are open until a specific time and not have the product. Also why treat your customers this way?

the workers are so slow, there was so many people in line and they took there time serving food. Most of the tables were dirty and not clean at all.They kept on forgetting food items to our order, we had to go back like 3 times to ask for them. The food was pretty bad overall and i lost my appetite after i saw this young african american woman drop fries all over the counter but still grabbed them and put them back into the pan. Horrible experience, dont even bother coming here.

I love KFC, the one by my old house was really good. This one in Gurnee, so far isnt good. I looked up their hours at 10 oclock tonight because my family and I were hungry. The website said that they didnt close until 11. I got there at 10:40, the parking lot was pitch black with no cars and when I tried to call they didnt answer. You shouldnt say you close at 11, and then be closed at 10:40 when I try and come to give you my money.

Went in to purchase GRILLED chicken and told that it would be 20 minutes. I decided to order a bucket of chicken and was told there was only dark meat available. When I got the chicken home it was rubbery. I wouldnt eat here again.

Cold food no cookie attitude on service is the worst! Save your money! And no reciept as well as the phone numbers for both gurnee and waukegan dont work! Horrible place!

Oil tastes like they dont change it. They also take forever to fulfill orders. Started going to another KFC and it was much better.
