In my area of Milwaukee Wisconsin Popeyes has a very bad reputation of inconsistancy and bad customer service. I have recieved horriable service from all 5 in my area by the way this is my first review and I am fed up. As a formal manager of a business (not my own) I still cant see why the people that work there still are employed or that management still hires horriable workers. I went to this location on 7458 W. Appleton ave. They are suppose to open at 10:00am I went at 10:40 and the sign wasnt lit for open the lights were off and I waited in the drive through for about 5 minutes. I finally drove up to the door and a worker came up to the door and told me the manager has just now dropped the chicken. You mean to tell me that 40 minutes later the store isnt open..If I could I would give this review no star but unfortunately that wasnt an option.

I was the first customer and at 10:06 I placed my order 15 minutes later when I got home the food was the some what "okay" but when I got to my tea, I noticed that the taste was different so I took 3 more sips of it and called the store thats when a young lady told me that another employee added salt to the tea besides sugar, I was light headed and didnt have a taste for nothing to eat for the rest of the day. I even checked myself into the hospital to make sure I was "okay" cause I took in a lot of salt.

Food is acceptable but they do not honor nationally advertised specials. Service is a joke. What you order is not always what you get and even if you complain nothing will be adjusted or corrected, you simply take whatever they decide to give you. You most likely will be stopped by panhandlers outside the doors or in the parking lot and if they are not there you will always find employees smoking by the door. There are several better places close by to spend your money, avoid this one.

This is the worst Popeyes in the city of Milwaukee and that says a lot. They never have regular menu items. The cashiers are rude. And you better check your food before you pull away because 9 times out of 10 the order is WRONG !! I have went to through the drive thru and have waited 10 plus minutes before my order was even taken. They need to be closed down.

I absolutely HATE this place. Very SLOW and the chicken taste HORRIBLE. They make you pull over no matterAlways looks burnt. The taste is so different now. Very bland. Very dry. Its not just this popeyes, but every single one of them. Yuck! If there was ZERO stars they would have gotten that. Their restaurants are so dirty and unkept....

I only gave it the one star because you cant comment unless you a star. This is the WORST experience i could ever had. Drive through is slow they threw my food in the trash had to wait additional minutes. Staff was busy socializing unstead of working. This is a sad situation and no hot sause or honey.

Pulled into the driveway at 8:43pm, attempted to enter the lobby but they had the doors locked early....lobby hours are supposed to be to 9pm. Drive-thru line was extremely long, didnt get to order my food until 9:10pm and the food I wanted wasnt available.....Terrible Experience!
