This was one of the worst experiences that I have had at a buffet place. I have been to many buffets and I do not expect the best food but this was terrible. I arrived to see a sign that said wait to be seated when my husband and I waited for about 5 minutes we asked the gentleman at the register if we had to wait to be seated he told us the manager would seat us. I thought this was horrible, what kind of manager makes the customers stand there for that long when there are obviously seats available. So we sat ourselves. Then the food was terrible, there was a line of people waiting to get steaks and workers seemed in no kind of hurry to get customers served. Then while getting dessert I witnessed (as well as other patrons) two co-workers arguing loudly while we all starred. The waitress was wearing gloves while touching everything anything she could get her hands on, such as money! Just because you have gloves on does not make you invincible. Overall would never come back to this establishment and I am completely surprised that the health department has not shut them down.

Golden Corral in COLLINSVILLE IL. SUCKS!!!! Food was horrible very salty and dried out, just old. Management is very rude most definitely unprofessional. I asked for money back and got told they couldnt but would have them to change food out with very nasty attitude then I told them that you changing food out is not going to help when its already made its going to still be dry and salty. She the manager Heather got real rude being unprofessional because I said this Golden Corral has really went down!! On Sundays the lines use to be out the door. Womens bathroom is never cleaned. I have had several bad experience with this place and I will not be back especially with the service and how we was treated!!! You want good food go to the Golden Corral off highway 64 & Greenmount Rd in OFallon IL.

My wife and I came in for dinner tonight. We left without eating. I approached the the grill area and requested two med.rare steaks. What the employee put on my plate I wouldnt have given to a dog. Not only were the steaks way past well that looked like more fat than meat. I was so disgusted by what I had just been served I lost my appetite, got a refund for our dinners and left. I will not go back. I would be ashamed of what was served to me. Obviously the grill cook takes no pride in his work, and doesnt care what kind of crap he serves. The manager offered to make new steaks, however it was to late, I would never eat a restaurant that has such little regard for serving such uneatable food.

Had to wait a good 30 min to get in and then another 10 to get seated and the guy took people that came in after us first. Was stuck wait back in a corner without enough room to sit without the other plp letting you out. Food was not kept out they kept running out of things and some were half done.Dont go on a Friday night, and they kids were running around and plp were pushing and shoving you out of the way, after paying over twenty dollars to eat we later went home to find something else to eat.It was clear the kids in the kitchen could not keep up with the crowd.

This is all you care to eat dining. They always run out of chicken because it is that good. But wait a few minutes and you will have hot fresh fried chicken available again. Roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy green beans and dont forget the yeast rolls. After you get your fill of the many entrees then go to the dessert bar and youll be glad you did. The also have a fantastic salad bar with everything you would want on a salad. Go there once and you will add this place to your dinner out list.

The cooks behind the buffet are a little rude, but the exceptional wait staff we had definitely made up for it. Our drinks were ALWAYS filled, finished plates cleared in a timely manner. And our server (i forgot his name but as soon as i figure it out i will be. Editing my review) was on top of EVERYTHING. We had a party of 17 and that man must have been nothing short of superman to keep up like he did.

It took over 5 minutes at the cash register just to get someone to take our money and we had no one in front of us in line. Then my husband went to the grill 2 times to get a medium steak and got burnt steaks both times they were so bad he could not eat them.So I went up to get him one the inside was med on this one but the outside was burnt.The service was trouble. That was the worst meal.

Service was great...Rob A did a wonderful job keeping us filled with coffee, water and soda. Overall though, I was disappointed, kind of run down, not sparkling clean inside....but more importantly the veggies for the omelets were far from fresh. Cook mixed our omelets up too. Food tasted as if it had been sitting there for a while. Salad bar however looked fresh.

I dont think they have as much of a selection in their food anymore and a lot of it was cold I also got upset because I had a 699 coupon and it says you have to use it and buy a soda as well and I always drink ice water because I have bad kidneys they did not let me use the coupon which I thought was horrible when it is due to a medical condition

Everything we go they dont care. The food isnt fresh, the service sucks and the general manager just doesnt care. When we tried to talk to her she flat out said we will do what we want. So we quit eating there and took our family to the one in fairview. Yes a drive. However that one cares is cleaner and so much better service.

Im a regular customer here. Cleanliness is above par for a buffet. Service is usually great, and the food selection and quality never disappoints. You cannot find better for the price! It has its usual problems with kids running around unattended, but Ive never found a buffet that keeps this nuisance under control.

I spoke with a lady by the name of Joy, which she told me she was the owner...VERY RUDE LADY!!! She kept over talking me, she wouldnt let me ask one simple question. I understand each place has different policies and procedures but every place should have great customer service especially if you are in management!!!

They evidently changed a few things. Now you can only get plates and silverware at the entrance, so after the seat you, you end up struggling through everyone coming in the door, then have to walk all the way back to the salad bar at the other end. The layout is frustrating and inconvenient. Food was ok.

Went for dinner 2/17/17. Food was terrible. Meatloaf so salty it was inedible. Steak I was served was mouthing but fat and gristle. Went back for a fresh piece of steak and couldnt get waited on. Tried a piece of fried chicken, it was obvious the grease was old. Will not be going back at all.
