Amazing food. Amazing Prices. The cook was wonderfully inviting. It was our first time trying Somali food, so she let us try all the different dishes before ordering. They were all good. Im pretty sure you cant go wrong with anything you order here. Just like Ethiopian food, you eat with your hands, so there is a sink to wash your hands when you walk in the door. If that makes you uncomfortable there is silverware too. Im definitely going back!

My Wife and I were visiting from the Twin Cities. I googled Somali restaurant and this was the most with positive reviews, and honestly it was worth the long drive from the South Loop (McCormick Palace). Jiijo (I assume she was the owner) was beyond friendly and welcoming. Id go back and eat from this place next time I visit Chicago.

You cant go wrong at this place. My kids and I have eaten here dozens of times and the food is always exceptional. They offer a few different meals every day and each one is cooked to perfection, full of authentic flavor with large portions. This is honestly our favorite place to eat and will keep coming back for more!
