We hired HyVee catering on Locust in Dubuque for our wedding on 8/15/15 and it was a great decision! Not only were the caterers super nice and accommodating, we literally started the buffet dinner at 6:00 on the dot which made our wedding day go so smoothly. They even filled to go containers for my groom and I labeled "best wishes" and congratulations" We got many comments about the food, particularly the roast beef and twice baked potatoes. They were super professional, super timely, and our Iowa friends that live in Chicago were SUPER excited to be apart of HyVee (no HyVees in Chicago) We got married at the Eagles Nest in Galena and everything worked out perfectly. Highly recommend!

Yesterday we ordered flowers to be delivered to a cousin for her birthday. We asked for BIG bunch. The girl on the phone who was very sweet asked if we would like to ADD a few balloons. Well i have to say I could have got this vase and the flowers at walmart for 1/2 the price. It was THE most disappointing arrangement i have ever sent anyone. I am soooo embarrassed. I love this store, however if theyre gonna call theyre flower department a "florist" then maybe a little work should be done on the arrangement side of it. We are out of state, thats why we had to call in the order. If I was there, I would be returning them! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We purchased lemon pepper chicken breasts and they were inedible. They were so covered in lemon pepper they burned our mouths and made my boyfriend throw up. We bought 6 and threw 4 1/2 in the trash. I called & was told to bring the receipt back and they will refund my money. I threw the receipt away a week ago when we got our groceries. SO pretty much I was told too bad. I buy my meat bundles there and spend about $600 a month there...no more of that!! I will get my meat from Fareway & will pick a different store to shop at from now on. DONT buy their lemon pepper chicken breasts!!!

We have a celiac child and a crohns patient in our house, food is how we treat it. This store isnt just a "store"for us, its our hospital. These people are like the kind nurses that you wish you have at bedside. My heart goes out to this store in many ways. I love it and the kind tender employees. Ill always come here. Period. Its THE best place I have ever done my shopping. God bless them that take such good care of this community! -The Kale Family

We were renewing our vows in front of our parents and adult children on our 10th wedding anniversary. On a whim I decided to go to Hy-Vee that morning and was able to pick up an awesome cake in the bakery and the girls in the floral department were able to quickly make up 10 corsages. Everyone loved them and I really appreciated the fact that they were able to pull that off while I waited.

Market grill here is terrible!! If you think of eating here then again. I went here with my wife and friend for dinner, all of the entrees and sides came out at different times, my chicken wings came out last and under cooked and to top it off, itted severely over priced. If your going too price like a steak house, then cook and serve like one also. First and last time eating at one of these.

Love this store. Always have everything I need plus they have an awesome dairy-free & peanut-free section - which is wonderful considering our granddaughter is severely allergic to both dairy & peanuts. The staff are so friendly & helpful. Kudos to the Hy-Vee employees. Having our bank - Dupaco, in store is an added bonus. The store is clean & inviting. :)

Hy-Vee stores go above and beyond for customer satisfaction. They are a relatively young grocery chain that employs young students in need of a part time job to full time working adults. Everyone Ive come across has been very friendly and the chain does its best keeping each of its stores feeling new and fresh. This location is no exception.

Store is okay. Always a pleasant experience with the Starbucks, but the store is always absurdly busy and the parking lot is an absolute nightmare. Wine and spirits section and health food section is kind of small/limited. The aisles are also tough to navigate and not logically organized. Other than that, its your average HyVee.

The store diector has been responsive to concerns voiced about thr Market Grille. Was impressed that the manager of the MG called me personally to review and address my concerns. Love this store, but miss the days when theyd help take groceries out to my car and load them into it.

This bakery made me the most beautiful Birthday cake I have ever seen a grocery store create! I was so impressed after several major fails from a big store whose name will not be stated (starts with a W and ends with a T ) but I will never go anywhere else for a cake from now on!

The place is always dirty and super busy. Only one bathroom and there are always feces or vomit covering the walls with flies everywhere eating it. I will never shop here again. To think about buying groceries in such filth. Disgusting! Hire someone to clean the bathrooms!!!!

I get my prescriptions from here and am always amazed that the pharmacy staff remembers my name. I have even been recognized when not getting my meds!! Plus they have really good food! This Hy-vee has a chinese and Italian along with the deli and hot food.

We always purchase our birthday cakes from this location. The cake is always more than perfect. Whenever we serve the cake everyone finishes it completely even when we order the largest size sheet cake. Always order the whipped frosting. Always love it.

The parking lot is enter at your own risk! Not a joke! And not just a 1 time visitor. I am in dubuque at least once a month. I shop there for convenience. Weekend traffic at this location is a nightmare! It reminds me of a roundabout in France.

Nice, large supermarket, with ample parking. Easily visible off of S Locust St. Produce department is very nice. Bakery is also very nice. Deli offers some very nice lunchmeats, sausages, etc. They have a health market with healthy offerings.

Most of our food shopping is at Hy Vee, Locust St., I had to relearn the store after the remodel, but now that iI have all is good. I like shopping there and am always able to find what I need

My "home" supermarket. In-store restaurant, deli, salad bar, bakery, butcher, Health Market, pharmacy, and Starbucks. Large alcohol aisle. Italian, sushi, and Chinese prepared foods sections.

The most underrated of the Hy-Vee locations in tow (of which there are three), it is the smallest but due to a renovation a few years back is in great shape, and has great selection.
