I have eaten here a few times and the atmosphere is nice and welcoming and you can eat outside if you wish or upstairs at the bar if you are so inclined. The food here is usually pretty good albeit somewhat pricey. This review is not really about their food, however, it is just to complain about one of their "promotions," their $.60 wing Wednesday. We arrived here around 4:00 but didnt leave until around 5:30 and were charged full price for our 12 wings, $12.99 since we supposedly got there before the promotion started at 4:00 and ordered 12 wings instead of 10 which is the increment that most people order them in. A $.60 wing is a $.60 wing and their daily special blackboard just stated that it started at 4:00 and was for dine-in only. If your deal is only good if you order wings in certain multiples then please write that rule out on your huge blackboard but dont punish your customers for ordering something that the menu only gives you the option of ordering 6 or 12 of. I hope it was worth it for them to lose a customer and for me to write a negative review over the additional $5 they made through their wing stipulations and trickery. While I thought I was cheap this place is perhaps even cheaper and dont count on taking advantage of their daily specials unless you explicitly ask what multiples you are allowed to order in, and even then if your food is priced wrong your server will just argue with you and claim that you are in the wrong, not them. I do not like being taken advantage of by businesses, especially over something so misleading, and if you dont, either I would caution you from eating here unless you dont mind being overcharged and taken for every penny you have.

We came here for my sisters rehearsal dinner last week. The venue (the engine room) was around the corner and this seemed like a great place to go after the rehearsal. The AC was out in the room upstairs where they placed us. With 30ish people it got really hot. The food was good - had family/catering style a couple different pastas salad and bread. Unfortunately the pricing and service was where it got really bad. We were not informed of the extra cost of the room before hand. Which was an extra $150. On top of that we were charged $50 per waitress - both of which seemed annoyed to be there and never came back to refill our drinks. And the $50 did not cover the tip so gratuity was still required. My sister has tried to reach out to the woman who she made arrangements with and she has not returned contact. Overall not a great experience and I would not recommend it.

If you like to wait 45 minutes for your food to be served and only half of the order to fully arrive then this is the place for you.. We ate here with two small children in hopes that they we bring their food out first.. One of the dishes never came and the other was the wrong order. Usually you expect to get a salad prior to your entrée especially if its not included in the meal.. Well bad news for us because the salad never came either. When our food finally did arrive not only was it room temp but it tasted the same as what you expect from a Stouffers frozen dinner. They were so nice here that they told us they would remove the items we never received off of our bill...I did not know we would have to pay for stuff we never got. I honestly think I paid this restaurant to piss me off.

Visiting Amici in Monroe for a number of years. Never had complaint, in fact recommended Amici to friends. But last two visits the service was horrid. Last night me and my guest walked out before our food order was taken. They didnt appear very busy. We were immediately seated and drink order was taken. But after that we became invisible. 15 minutes past, our waitress past by our both a dozen times and never acknowledged us. Then our waitress and several employees were leaning on the bar cutting it up. So I decided it was time to leave. Left five dollars on the table for two ice teas, just to clear my conscience. A couple of bad employees can ruin business. Better take care your customers if not someone else will. Never returning

We went around lunch time during the week. The waitress was very nice and there wasnt much of a wait on the food. Parking was ample as you park on the street in the main square. My only really complaint is value and taste. They charge $4.99 for a slice of pizza and its not the big New York style slice, its like a Papa Johns sized slice. Also the taste was underwhelming. If you want a combo, its $2 more to add fries or a small salad. $3 more and you can add wings. I still think $7.99 for a small slice of mediocre pizza and 5 wings is too steep. That didnt include a drink. Absolutely no reason to go back. They do have different specials every day like kids eat free night and such.

Food isnt bad but nothing special. The worst part is the service. They could care less if you are there or not. All of the servers basically act like your a pain in the ass for coming in. I have eaten here a few times now and I doubt Ill come back. For example this time i stopped in for a Togo order and it has been 30 minutes and not a word has been said to me and they are slow right now. A place across the street called little Italy is much much better. Nicer people and good good.

The food here is generally pretty good. But weve decided we will never return after our latest visit. The staff is too busy hanging out and flirting with each other to take care of you. I could go into how bad the service here is, but it wont change anything. Sad, we live 3 miles away and will never return. P.S. to the boy hanging out in the kitchen, put your shirt down. I down want to see your happy trail dangling over the food thats about to be served.

Food othe than pizza is pretty good. Better than the mass market dumps, but not as good as better Italian places. But the pizza needs much improvement. Smell is a big component of taste, but Amici (at least this one) puts the cheese on top of the toppings. There is a reason they are called TOPPINGS! The only reason I can think of for this is to conceal a paltry serving of toppings. Also, the price is more than the quality warrants.

The wait staff was apologetic about everything. Saying sorry for bringing a pizza, apologetic for refills, etc. I didnt get it. She would stop at table, then just leave before we can speak. Cheese sticks were cold when brought out, still icy in middle. Pizza was ok. Overall experience was annoying and not the best food.
