I would not recommend this place. The food and service was some of the worst Ive had in a sit down restaurant. Im typically not a picky eater, but this was bad enough to make me post here. It was like, middle school lunch ladys first day on the job kind of food. Wet pasta, bland sauce ladled in the middle, with a piece of microwaved presliced cheese on top. We ordered mac and cheese bites as an appetizer, which after several reminders, finally arrived at the end of the night. They were cold and tasted like someone jammed Kraft mac and cheese in an ice cube tray after seeing someone do it on Instagram. To top it all off, at the end of the night the waitress gave us the correct bill, took our credit card, and somehow charged us the wrong bill. I dont know if a change of ownership or staff or something happened here, but this cant be the same place other people have reviewed. On the plus side the breadsticks were pretty good.

We visited my hometown Fenton on our honeymoon motorbike trip. I had not been there in over 40 years and The Fenton House was where we chose to have dinner. We were greeted by a very kind waiter who suggested some soup. We got home baked breadsticks to enjoy with our soup and both were to die for. It was hard to image that being topped, but our sandwiches were just as good. My cuban style sandwich was perfect. We parked our bikes near the police station and walked around a little getting back. When we got back to the bikes, my wife found out she had left our doggie bag containing the other halves of our sandwiches (the portions are very large) and she would not hear of leaving without them so in full motorcycle gear, hurried back the half block to get our food which we enjoyed the next day. Next time Im in Fenton, I will most certainly dine here.

I never wrote a review for a restaurant but I couldnt get over how bad the Chicken Caesar Wrap tasted. It was mushy and diced so tiny I just assumed I was eating chicken. The taste was deplorable and I felt like I would loose what I did eat if I did not stop eating. Too bad. It was recommended by a friend. I bet she did not have this wrap. Also initially I wanted a half a cup of onion soup and a half a sandwich and at noon, they didnt have onion soup. I was surprised. I worked in the office for a restaurant and usually soups and lunches are well prepared even before doors open. All in all I wont be going back. Yikes!

The food is still as solid as it ever was, and the breadsticks still run out long before everything else(theyre delicious, definitely try them). Their renovation changed the sense of the place, it now feels more geared to a trendy crowd than its former family-centric atmosphere. Dining in can get a bit loud, particularly if children or more boisterous individuals are present. The hard surfaces dont absorb sound well, and the space between tables can become rather congested. Take out is as good as ever though, and they do have a patio seating option to get outside and away from any rambunctious diners if needed.

I worked under both owners for a short time. Matt Dobbs wasnt the perfect manager but at least he cared about his employees lively Hood. My poor nieghbor had to move out of where I live to a small loft because of the new ownership. There are great people STILL there. All the other staff are awesome. The new owner is sketchy at best. He probably has no self respect either. After posting this it will be a long time before I go back there for a long time. Its a shame because most of the other staff like me there. I will probably be going to the Highland house for a while.

Breadsticks are to die for. White dip too. Ive been there in the past, and got bad service, but recently Ive been going back and have yet to have a problem with anything, they have improved a lot. The back patio during the summer time is amazing. My waiter was great and gave me excellent service. Talked to him about setting up my sons open house, they have great deals on everything. I promise you will not go home hungry, I always have lunch for the next day. I believe they just got burgers n steak deliciousness. I usually go with the Chicken Alfred, or the RIBS!

Their service is a bunch of 17 year old privileged white kids and pregnant teenagers who are more interested in blabbering amongst each other than serving their customers. The only good server is the guy who looks like he got out of doing hard time. Their cooks and kitchen area are consistently dirty looking. Most of the food is either undercooked or still frozen. The bread sticks are the only thing worth ordering and good luck getting condiments to go with them. Lots of pictures of indians however. The arcade room is loud and obnoxious and ruins the meal

Had the deep dish pizza. Was ok. It came out with a couple pieces mangled. Was overcharged and had to bring it to the waitresss attention even though she said she knew their was a problem with the registar? The service was very slow and their French Onion soup tasted like it came out of a can. Way over priced. Came here because French Laundry had a 12 hour wait. Next time will be more patient and wait for a table there.

Well, they have a house pizza that has all the trimmings. The only problem is when you try and skimp on food, dont do it with you signature pizza. The pepperoni was paper thin and not enough cheese and the crust was a little undercooked. So when you put veggies on top they kinda soak through the bottom. All in all they were okay at best. Ps, at one time that same pizza was really good.

Cant go wrong with pizza and bread sticks but my husband loves their chicken/pasta dinners. We celebrated a nephews birthday there and it was one of the best parties. The staff was fantastic and thought of everything. Our party was very private and well taken care of.

I had a graduation party for about 100. They offered a deal with 100 breadsticks, 100 pieces chicken (YUMMY), huge greek salad, full size mostaccioli. It was a perfect deal for $200 and about $500 less than caterers charge. We will do this for all our parties!!!

The food was great however, the service was confused and ill-prepared. This beloved pillar of fenton has always been a favorite of mine but perhaps no longer. If you intend to order takeout you should be fine as the food was great as I stated above.

pleasant enough. But the food was clearly from the frozen food aisle from the grocery store. could not eat more than a couple of bites. not bad tasting. But it definitely did not taste good. left and went to another restaurant to eat.

Favorites are Stromboli, Chicken Alfredo, and LOVE the Nachos. EXCELLENT breadsticks, love the salad and chicken noodle soup. *I* have only had bad service once in all the years I have been going there. Staff is always friendly.
